Could also be that the true mem speed is back to its original/stock setting.

My cards will only accept 150Mhz below GPU clock for instance 1200/1050 GPU/MEM clock, if I set MEM clock to 1049 or lower, it will change back to default (1200).

Did you try putting the fan speed at max for all 3 cards?
Also use small anti-static foam blocks to space the cards further apart. (an addional cm/half inch could double the airflow).

Could be the VRM/Mem temp that is getting too high.

What also worked for my card(s) is removing the shrouds, especially when you have casefans blowing directly onto the cards. All that plastic/metal just blocks the airflow.

If you use Guiminer, you can select the card you want to use in a drop down-menu.

As long as you keep your monitor connected to your old card this card will be used as primary card.

In windows you don't need to connect a monitor/dongle on the 'mining' card for it to work, but you can't change overclock settings in AMD control panel. So for first use you should connect a monitor and set your desired settings. (max core clock, min mem clock, manual fan).

You should use 64-bit windows, i've run into memory issues running 32-bit windows for LTC mining (only 3 GB available). With 64-bit you can use >4GB in the future.

Of course there are multiple ways you get this done, but guiminer is a relatively easy entry in the mining world. Welcome

Did you also check VRM temperatures? Since you use watercooling there might be too little airflow over other components like mem & vrm's.

There is quite a difference in poweruse between a idle and a maxxed-out gpu, difference could be >100W.
