I talked to my buddy in Greece today and he told me he never heard of this shit and he thinks its a scam...and he doesnt even know what crypto is. If he does not know anything about crypto, I am not sure that he is good for advices on it then... Seems like no one of you have been in Greece, most people do not even have internet. And yes only a minority will know what crypto is, a VERY small minority Are you idiot??? Everybody has internet in Greece ... Full of free public wifi spots, All houses have internet, all cafes,hotels, restaurants on Mobille phones etc.. I am Greek ... |

Greececoin what about the addresses of the pre mined Coins??? Are you going to show them to us? THIRD TIME I ASK !!!
this. why can't the dev just post this? this would hardly take a minute of this time. really. i'm a small time miner and i'm mining this and while waiting 24hrs to accumulate coins the value gets decimated. the dev needs to be transparent and posting the premine address would be a pretty good start. it would at least help stabilise the coin's value. I am starting to believe that his intentions are to help himself make money by using an already popular name GREECE. He is not going to share the premined coins. That's Why... AND I AM REALLY PISSED RIGHT NOW. Another SCAM against Greece. Well I'm pissed off with u for keep going on, if your that worried about it, spend your time and look through the 2 block explorers, keep going on just shut it. Firt of all watch you mouth !!! He didnt put the blockexplorers here http://www.greececoin.net/ on the official site... I am asking for that from yesterday? cant you or him tell us that they are posted on the first post? |

Publicity + Community will make a coin big! So everyone who believes in this coin more the greek developers stop arguing and try to help, this is the meaning of community the ideas of Ancient Greek are still here!

I am researching on the best possible way to conduct the first stage of the first Air drop and the best legal way for the Greek People. There are alot of Greek people coming forward and who want to be involved and i encourage this, working together will bring a better outcome.
Ideas about how to conduct the air drop to people who live in greece, airdrops are probably going to be conducted differently in each country but we can learn from each air drop.
With regards to me tweeting Mintpal and coinmarketcap, greececoin has seen great trading volume within its launch with a lot of people trading Greececoin, people who trade deserve to be able to trade on which ever platform they can, mintpal is very user friendly and is proven. Coinmarketcap has a huge following and a lot of people use coinmarketcap multiple times a day and greececoin deserves to be seen as much as every other coin listed. Suggesting these actions are only for a quick pump and dump is your opinion and is not factual so it is not necessary to post this.
Thank you I like your answer but start showing your intentions by making public the addresses of the premined coins. This is very very important. This and only this can make the coin a success or the opposite. Our ideas and suppoort will come after . (I also understand if you keep coins for yourself for your effort and for promotion etc.). Its the second time i am asking the same thing. |

There have been many rescue packages given to Greece from the European Financial Stability Facility accounting for over 1 Trillion euros Greececoin 1 Trillion euros?  ? Where did you read that? Greececoin is only at the very beginning of its journey, it has only just launched! I am welcome to peoples ideas and views and will listen to everyone and more importantly i would welcome the views of Greek people just that little bit more because this is aimed at Greece.
A lot of people come on this thread to shout scam but this does not bother me the slightest, the price of greececoin does not bother me the slightest, being on certain exchanges does not bother me the slightest. I have the idea and vision for greececoin and im going to stick by that and everything else will fall into place based on facts and development.
To all of the investors, please make your own decisions and i would appreciate a little more modesty within the thread and more talk on development.

I am Greek and i am a developer... Me and other developers from Greece were working on a Greek Crypto Coin that would not be a copy paste of other alt coins. It would not be a SHA256 ,scrypt (asics for scrypt will be out in a few months) or n-scrypt. It would be something totally new... (I am not going to give you ant other info here). If you are a dev you know that designing and writing most of the parts of the wallet and mining soft from scratch takes time. The project is now paused because of the launch of Greececoin. We will wait to see what is going to happen to Greececoin. Even if our effort will go to the garbage we want to see Greececoin succeeding.
So if you really want to help Greeks you HAVE to do at least the following:
1. Make the premined addresses visible. Make People believe that this is not a scam.
2. Give as a way to reach you an irc channel for eg (not by email). We can discuss on proper ways of airdropping. (Airdropping to business is wrong strategy.)
And PLEASE REMEMBER People in Greece suffered a lot the last years. Thousands have committed suicide because of the economical crisis that some others created on purpose. Thousands have lost their jobs, their houses, their families. The majority of the loans that were given to Greece was given back to the banks and then back to the loaners. The loans were not given to the Greek people. They have even cut the biggest part of their salaries. If you dont live here there is no way to know what really happens here. The press lies...

Please Set the MaxLength property of the TextBox (CoinEditForm->symbolEdit) to 5 .
I have created a new coin with a symbol name length > 5 chars (I didnt know that symbol name max length is 5) and i was getting API error (Mobile api returns an error).
Also if there isnt any coin selected on a device (gpu,proxy etc) the app throws an exception(If you delete the coins and import new coins this happens). There should be a check or a message there.

Isn't the symbol length supposed to be 3 or 4? Seems like poor planning on your part. what's that supposed to mean? Seems like a typo ... I was in a hurry so i pasted "xxxCoin" in the symbol field. That's why validation is needed in the apps. An app isn't supposed to stop working if a user inputs wrong values in the fields... Are you also a developer of MultiMiner ? |
