21  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: November 29, 2013, 03:48:27 PM
Everybody stressing out!  Ahhh!  Smiley

I just cashed-out my investment: www.bitcoinsports.eu/inv/96f00

It was funded with a double-input tx;, either input is fine as a return address.

Thanks man.

Of all the idiocy I have ever seen on this site, this takes the cake.

He mentioned after his betting that he would probably not play at the site anymore.. And also mentioned to he would have doog rain BTC..
We shall see if these things come true..

He's said many times before that he won't play on the site any more.  He has proven time and time again to be dishonest.

And he's not going to have me do anything.  If he wants to "rain BTC" he can do it himself.

Doog, UNFAIR again. Please note "PROBABLY". In fact, what I said as nakowa went like this (I cannot recall exactly): "I'm done here (though I might come back with another identity)..." And before this, when people in the chat room asked me, "You'll play again?", I often answered: "I don't know."

Coming back and winning coins don't constitute "being dishonest", I think. I've been called scam, thief by others, and you now openly accuse me of dishonesty, I'm kind of disappointed. However, I could understand you, and do. But, as an investor, I have to divest and withdraw, I'm afraid you are sort of hating me now, which is dangerous for further communication.

I WANT to QUIT, really. However, quitting from winning is much harder than quitting from losing. I told you that before. But you designed this, using a subtle way to transform investors into gamblers, and holding winning gamblers in the site as investors, which is truly amazing, and to which I fell prey. And I found I can hardly be a solid investor, from time to time realizing I can win much quicker and bigger than I can profit from others' loss (1% x 7% x 90%).

I'm trying very hard to leave this site, I MEAN it. I know I might fail, God bless me.

BTW, I always respect you and your work. Good luck.

This is the problem with people who win money without having earned it.  They can't fucking handle the responsibility, don't feel entitled to it, and ultimately implode.

Spend that money on something to better yourself man.  Sign up for a fucking Tony Robbins event or whatever you're into.  God knows you can afford it.

How to Transfer Shares:
Simply push the amount of shares to the issuer account on the source exchange, then send an e-mail to tat.investments@gmail.com noting your account name on the destination exchange you have chosen. Please use the same e-mail address you have registered with the source exchange for verification purposes.

This has me confused, because it appears I would get to choose the destination exchange.

In the NEOBEE thread you have said we can redeem this for bitfunder only.  To be clear: am I unable to redeem xbond shares for their equivalent NEOBEE shares on havelock, and I must sign up for bitfunder? (which I understand has been having some issues lately)

Correct.  However, you may have your NEOBEE shares transferred to Havelock for a BTC1.0 fee.

I am tired of this toxic community malformed by greed.

"Malformed by greed" is indeed a correct assessment. Whose greed? To call upon the childhood rhyme; "The one who smelt it, dealt it." It's not the miners/buyers who have toxified the environment, Yifu. It's sellers like you who don't know the first thing about running a legitimate business and maintaining a solid reputation, by doing the things they say they'll do.

This isn't Alibaba, where you bullshit your way through a deal, deliver something only marginally similar to what you agreed to, and then disappear to do it again under a different username. I know that's what your culture is accustomed to, but you're trying to play in an arena where that model just isn't gonna cut it.

Want to play in the arena where professionalism counts? Start by learning the definition. "Professionalism: Results, on demand, for pay." Nobody gives a fuck about your 'chi' or your hair, or your emotional needs. If you want somebody to tend to your emotions and 'chi', get a girlfriend.

The only thing that the world cares about about are results. Somebody provides you money, you provide results. If you can't provide results, you don't have what it takes to be a professional.

You already got the pay, you've got the demand. Turn over some fucking results, because that part (YOUR part) is the part that's missing from the equation here.

Maybe you thought this community made you a millionaire because they liked your personality? Sorry, but that's not the case. This community made you a millionaire because they actually expect your to deliver on your promises.

'Coffee is for closers'.

If you can't hack it, go be a barista at some hipster-run coffee joint, and serve coffee to the 'closers' who do have what it takes. That ought to give you PLENTY of time to focus on your 'chi'.  Roll Eyes

27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Store Batch 3 Status just went to "Refund Processing" - now "Completed" on: August 29, 2013, 02:55:45 AM
One refund received; one outstanding.
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: A plea to Yifu on: August 15, 2013, 02:56:49 AM
It's pretty obvious what happened.

Avalon does not want or does not think it needs to hire a customer service expert to deal with refunds/questions/exchanges.

They underestimated what it would take to ship Batch 1, 2 AND 3.

They underestimated how long the batches would take to build AND ship.

They underestimated their business security needs. This story kept popped up again in June at the Bitcoin conference, and it popped up again recently with the alleged "delay" of the chips.

They underestimated the bureaucratic necessities of shipping a large quantity of goods, dealing with customs in multiple locations.

It's pretty clear now, with all due respect to Avalon, that they seriously underestimated what it would actually take to RUN a company in the modern world, even though they are smart guys.

You guys really need to get a savvy, knowledgeable, worldly business manager AND a security consultant who knows WTF he's doing. You need professional business help, seriously speaking.

So far, the only thing you've done is make a great product. There are lots of companies that have done that, and FAILED MISERABLY. Get some professional help, please.

My thoughts as well.

31  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] x2 Avalon Batch #3, triple module on: June 18, 2013, 01:08:04 AM
I am selling my Avalon batch #3 pre-orders.  They contain three modules each.  One has a PSU, the other does not.

The order numbers are 5xxx and 8xxx.  I am located in Toronto, Canada.  They will be shipped to me via EMS.

Guidelines:
1. Please state your offers not including shipping. You're responsible for choosing the company and how much insurance to buy.
2. I will take offers until Avalon starts shipping batch #3.
3. Buy it now price: BTC150 each

Happy bidding!

I haven't done the math, but I presume that the cost of electricity is greater than the value of coins mined.
