If only weak hand will not dump at any price..
simply sell only 10% it's necessary for stock exchange, for new investors... the offer must be less than the demand

hello, which is the port for solo mining?
|
|
|
@epicfailman
which driver/miner use you?
I use sgminer-nist5mod v4.1 with 14,43 mh per card, but it's very old... gatelessgate is very stable but max hasrate is 14,07 mh and it have few information... sgminer-gm crash about 2-3 hours.... I have driver 16.11.5 foe window 10

@epicfailman
Thank's :-) now try solo mininig for one hour... good luck for all miners (me included :-) )

@epicfailman
Have you used this setup?
set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
I now try without it and my miner is more stable...
I'm trying with and without bios mod but I don't see appreciable difference
Thank you! Really, miner became more stable. Now temporarily left the pool. While a miner with a 200+ Mh farm works there, solomining is more profitable. For an hour I received 14 XLR. sorry but I'm not understand. Have you added or remove this setting? At this moment I try all combination and I'm too confused :-) How much hashrate you have use for solo mining? I've 34 Mh.. it's sufficient for solo mining or pool is more profitable?

After 3 days of testing. Hashrate AMD: RX480 - 20Mh-39Mh RX470 - 17Mh-34Mh RX460 - 8Mh-12Mh R390x - 25-50Mh (Best!) R270x - 7-12Mh Intensity=19-20
Who knows, what about Nvidia?
what are first and second number? hashrate with one and two GPU? have you try with intensity=21? and... which miner use you?

@SolarisDev when the slack channel? :-)

A question.. In solo mining I receive only coin in block when i find it or even all share? I ask this becouse I receive 3 payment for mining but in this time I don't found any block
Tony, i have noticed that whenever i see a share - YAY solomining i will get an instant payout, i think this is just the miner confusing itself as it is really a block you have found. Not really sure, just my experience. I use gatelessgate or sph-sgminer-nist5mod... I try solo mining for half hour and I receive tree payment "from mining"... I knew that I receive only coins found in block, for this reason I asked

I have already voted how many votes are needed? 1000?

hello,
in the pool who finds a block takes more coins? or simply depends from share?
You get more coins and from shares too ok thank's... I need more GPU

@epicfailman, @kangwie I use two GPU, undervolted and 1261mhz-861mV core, 1950 mhz-861mV memory with 230watt at wall. I've modify my command line in: gatelessgate.exe --gpu-platform 0 -k nist5 -o stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032 -u tony_crunk.worker1 -p x -d 0,1 -I 20
with 16.22Mh each video card. I suppouse sgminer and gatelessgate have same performance... I can try it...
niest5 depends from GPU or memory?
I got better results with SGMiner 5.5.5 than with Gateless Gate. Intensity setting of 128 works well, intensity setting of 256 is too intense and leads to crashes. Algorithm "talkcoin-mod" "nist5" same thing, same hashing speeds. Set a high fixed fan speed. My SGMiner .CONF file looks like this: { "pools": [{ "name": "Solaris", "url": "stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032", "user": "LoginName.WorkerName", "pass": "WorkerPassword", "profile": "solaris" }], "profiles": [{ "name": "solaris", "algorithm": "talkcoin-mod", "Intensity": "20", "worksize": "128", "gpu-threads": "1", "gpu-powertune": "20" }], "default-profile": "solaris", "no-extranonce": true, "no-submit-stale": true, "temp-target": "75", "auto-gpu": true, "gpu-fan": "55", "temp-cutoff": "85", "temp-overheat": "90" } Try that and compare to GatelessGate. I try it... and I've same performance with GatelessGate... exactly 16.3 in sgminer but it crash often. gatelessgate is more affidable and stable, I prefer use it

@kangwie, which hashrate have you with rx480? I've 16 Mh with rx470 nitro undervolted, but I use different configuration...
this is my command line for gatelessgate, fork of sgminer but more stable and affidable
gatelessgate.exe --gpu-platform 0 -k nist5 -o stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032 -u tony_crunk.worker1 -p x -d 0,1 --rawintensity 32768 --worksize 1024 --gpu-threads 4

Hi I am trying to start mine solo with cpuminer on Ubuntu 16 but cpuminer just throws errors my config file rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18921 rpcuser=USER rpcpassword=PASSWD daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 mining=1 addnode=185.183.99.171 addnode=185.183.99.1 start miner with ./cpuminer -a nist5 -o 127.0.0.1:18921 -u SOLARISCOINADDR -p SOLARISCOINADDR
and all I get is error:
[2017-03-19 17:19:43] 8 miner threads started, using 'nist5' algorithm. [2017-03-19 17:19:45] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<' [2017-03-19 17:19:45] getblocktemplate failed, falling back to getwork [2017-03-19 17:19:46] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<' [2017-03-19 17:19:46] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds [2017-03-19 17:19:57] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<' [2017-03-19 17:19:57] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds [2017-03-19 17:20:08] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<' [2017-03-19 17:20:08] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds
I have internet connection, no problem I assume the correct method is 1. Start Wallet - solariscoin-qt 2. Start Miner - cpuminer-multi thank you for any help rpcuser is the same of -u in miner option (-u is --user) rpcpassword is the same of -p in miner option (-p is --password)
hello, I've setup my solariscoin.conf with:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18921 rpcuser=USER rpcpassword=PASSWD daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 mining=1 addnode=185.183.99.171 addnode=185.183.99.19
and my miner command line with:
sgminer.exe -k nist5 -o 127.0.0.1:18921 -u USER -p PASSWD
it's correct for solo mining?
no mining=1 with and without "Mining=1" I receive the message "No suitable long-poll found for http://127.0.0.1:18921" and i do not find blocks
