the issue though with this setup is you can buy platinum roswil platinum 1k PSU's for $120 right now brand new with 5 year warranty
I have around 10 6 gpu rigs running this setup with no problems only had one die on me.
The finsky solution along with all the cables and the mother board adapaters could ealy cost 2-3 times the cost of buying normal PSU's
Have 1 server PSU HP 1200w platinum psu on ebay for only $22, some pcie cables and little home work, i not invest more of $50. Now with 4 rx 470 and 1 rx 480 stock clocks consume a total of 720w at the wall with a little undervolt maybe much less. Have a gold 750psu only for motherboard, processor and ssd, consumes 120w at the wall, i wanna pico solutions to replace my atx psu. Is a cheaper way for powering a full rig. |

@ melfice123 - The Solution I'm getting from Finksy, the PICO will be powered by the server PCI cable via barrel pigtail so both will always be powered on at the same time. I'm just waiting for the unit. It's going to be at least another 2-4 weeks before I get them.
@ Citronick - I had the same exact issue. My network spans out multiple directions from my office to living room switch, to kids play room switch, to garage and then split again in the garage etc. The more switches I added, the more likely 1 of them wont' play nice with each other. They are all dumb switches so you can't hard set the port at 10/100 or gigabit. My guess is 1 of them are dumb and don't auto negotiate well and creating a lot of unnecessary traffic. Surprisingly I found my 16 and 24 ports caused more issues then my cheap 4 and 8 port switch.
My problematic switches.
Netis - 24 ports
Linksys - 24 ports.
This is when I upgraded to the following switches
NetGear ProSafe
The Cisco (OLD) I got for free also don't play well with some switches as it does need a Crossover cable to work with some switches. I just use the NetGear to act as the crossover for it. I would recommend not using any Linksys / Dlink / Netis or non Business class switch as they work in the beginning but will have interaction issues or congestion issues later. Reduce the number of switch and invest in Business class one, they seem to have bigger backplane and better traffic control even though both would be dumb not managed switch. I like the NetGear Prosafe, no issues so far and it seems to play well with all the switches.

Hello, any tips for use Pico psu and server psu to power on at same time? have 1,200w server psu using for cards and 700w gold psu for motherboard, proccesor, hard drive, etc, and 1 Pico psu on the way to replace 700w atx psu.

Zec: with Claymore 12.1 is near of 200 sols, Eth:12-15MHS and Xmr 450hs.
I don't think you can get 15MH/s with ETH, maybe 12 with some overclocking/memory hacking tweaks Yeah, my standart xfx goes to 12mhs, i see some memory straps config will come near to 15. |

Yes of course. Mixed combinations work normal. Tested with 16.11.1 drivers, all works normal and good speed.

Hello, since yesterday I have experienced a high latency mining xmr in supernova, up to almost 6,000ms, my question is that affects the profits? I started using WOlf0's miner using only the below :-
Threads 2
Rawintensity 504
Worksize 4
Getting around 100% share acceptance running with no downtime, 730 h/s and volts rawn at around 360W -380W for my rx480 4GB with modded straps.
Can you share your bat file? config you mean? #4 is R7 370, it does better in claymore, not sure about the numbers also.. 1. RX 480 Msi Gaming 4GB Hynix Memory, flashed with Anoraks Bios mod.
2. Core 1205@960mV, Memory 1950@975mV.
3. I have 2 rx470 and one rx480.
4A. At the wall entire system read 450W, Gpuz read 78-85W for RX480 With Monero and 710 h/s, 524w.
4B. With Zec entire system read 480w, Gpuz read 90-94w and 220 h/s.
4C. With ETH entire system read@wall 560W, Gpuz read 96-99w and 28-29 mh/s.

v10.0:
- improved speed for most cards, up to 8% (depends on card model). About 340H/s on stock 390X, 255H/s on stock RX480, 320H/x on stock Nano.
- added "-a" option to select best algorithm implementation for your GPU.
PS. This is an intermediate version because I had no time to implement all optimizations I planned for this release, also I had no time for tests. In 1-3 days I will release another version with further speedup.
