They are probably regulated. I sent 2eur to an online casino and 2 days later I received an email from them writting that I have violated their terms. They said that if I violate their terms again, they may cancel my account ?WTF ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) This is not the bitcoin spirit. I immediately withdraw all my funds to another wallet.

once it has been clicked, you get on another site on which you see your btc-address AND your balance.
I can do that. What will the other site be?

I am not gonna even argue about this, I assume english is not your native language. I even wrote "" on "code", that is EXACTLY what I said but sure go ahead do whatever the f you want. You will probably fail.

That is exactly what I said. Like exactly.
You mentioned about selling the software package and code, while I am talking about selling the service. The client does not have access to the source code file.

I think he meant that he would sell the software to it not do it himself.
So he will have a generic dice game and faucet attached to it, sell it to people who would like to be owners of dice for cheaper than hiring a developer to do it. So he is selling a software package to future casino owners, he is not the casino owner himself. He would be selling the "code" of it.
Not exactly. You can think the SAAS (software as a service) concept is similar to wordpress.org that offers a hosted blog service. Anyone who wants to own a blog but does not want to deal with the technicalities, can get his own blog site through their service. Similarly, I am talking about a service that allows anyone who wants to own a dice/faucet website to have one. They will pay a monthly subscription fee and they will be provided with a fully functional website. They do not have to worry about the code or the hosting, all they care about is how to run their site.

Hi,
Do you think it is a good project idea to make a dice & faucet as a service? I have not seen any related services. Any reason why not?

That's interesting. Do you know how they detect the bots?
|
|
|
Hi,
I have been running a faucet for the last couple of months and I found that the hardest part is to protect against the bots.
I started with high rewards, a short timer and the solvemedia captcha, but this proved a bad idea. I soon watched the number of claims being very high, but the number of visitors reported by google analytics staying the same. This was a sign that the faucet was hit by bots.
Then I replaced solvemedia by recaptcha. As far as I understand, repatcha is more expensive to solve (3$ per 1000 captchas or ~300 Satoshis per claim) but still I had to reduce the claim to 100 Satoshis in order to avoid the bots.
I do not want to have multiple captchas and I do want to keep high rewards for the users, but this is very difficult to do.
I look at moonbit faucet and they give high rewards for rich countries. How are they protecting?
What are your thoughts?
