Hi everybody, I think it would cool to get a Top 10 list going, where everybody can chime in about how they see the market growing (or dropping) when it comes to their altcoin investments or potential investments. Rather than compare coin x to coin y, let's stirr the pot a bit, since Initial shortlist (no particular order...mostly): Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Cardano, Stellar, Ethereum Classic, Iconomi, Verge, Dash, Zcash, PIVX, Bytecoin, Steem, IOTA, NEM, Telcoin, ETHLend, TRON, Digibyte, ReddCoin, Dogecoin, Burst, Experience Points, Substratum, Siacoin. Waves is a good project, lots of connections with real world businesses and good developer. However, the price doesn't seem to rise much in relation to other coins. It looks like price manipulation by whales or other means. I had waves but decided to dump it rather than wait forever for it to moon. Might be better this year, but not much based on past statistics. Too many scammy tokens on waves which degrades it's purpose.
thats why they are regulating this year ico's and setting standards to make one so they can protect investors |

Hey guys, I am wondering what's your opinion on WAVES? Looking at it the past weeks kind of makes me wondering if it is. Basically every Alt somehow got pumped pretty significantly. WAVES on the other hand somehow keeps pretty steady or looses value. Maybe it's just a wrong impression on my side, I would be just interested what's your take in its future  You correctly think absolutely! He has very good potential and I think that this year he will at least make x10 this minimum! He has a good potential!) Waves has high potential to grow, i agree with that but 10x grow is really impossible this year. Its still good bet but not for very high profit. Its more like profit stable. So we can gain profit but not very much. why is it impossible? can you give me argument why wont grow x10 i mean reading your reply you are talking nonsense high potential but impossible x10,you need to decide whats your point |

slazem se nisam bio upucen i pogledao sam i je istina je sve sto si naveo.to je s moje strane pogreska sta nisam provjerio prije nego sto sam napisao,al bez obzira na to sta je tu revolucionarno? xspec to odavno pruza tako da ne vidim sta je tu toliko impresivno,imaju vise developera slazem se i trenutno im je development brzi nego u xpseca.developere u xspeca placa community kroz donacije zbog cega nisu u stanju prosiriti team,deep onion radi dropove sto znaci imaju vecinu coinsa(doslovno mogu kad oce dumpat sve coinse i cijenu dovest blizu 0).jedino preostaje vidjeti nakon airdropova koliko ce ljudi ostat ,a koliko ce ih dumpat coinse kad nebude vise free money. 10tak tjedana ili tako nesto ako se ne varam

Sta mislite o Spectrecoinu (xspec)? Puno je manje nahypan od deeponiona a kolko sam skuzio nudi sve isto + stealt steakanje koje je u planu kroz koji mjesec. Problem je sto imaju 1 developera i nemaju marketing.....
Izašao je 8 mjeseci prije DeepOniona. Za 8 mjeseci će ga DeepOnion ostaviti u oblaku prašine što se tiče razvoja. na osnovi cega ce ga ostaviti u oblaku prasine? covjek nije ni trebao pitati u ovom postu za spectrecoin jer je post iskljucivo za deeponion membere sto znaci da nece dobiti objektivan odgovor od nikoga. sto se tice techa trenutno deeponion je 2012godina(verzija tora 2012) dok je xspec 2018 verzija. tako da smjesno je uopce usporedivati tehnologiju u ovom trenutku.sto se tice buducnosti deeponion dobiva nadogradnju tora i ostale featurse kao deep vault,sto ljudi hypeaju bez ikakvog razloga. spectrecoin dobiva stealth staking (tako tvrde) sto trenutno nitko nema ni u planovima da impelmenta stoga u slucaju da steatlh staking ne dode,tada deep onion ima svjetliju buducnost.jedino sta onion ima prednost je community sto je jako bitna stvar,ali treba pricekati zavrsetak airdropova da vidimo koliko ljudi uopce je tu zbog projekta a koliko je tu zbog kako kazu "free money". |

why such low expectation from waves....
if waves doesn't hit 100dollars it failed, roadmap is incredible and with each day more people use waves dex,after smart contracts lot of projects will go for waves,more trading pairs and liquidity on dex will help a lot,so anything under 100 is underpreforming

You are absolutely correct Xspec stealth staking will make this privacy coin up there. I, myself, did invest in a couple hundred, but we will see what happens in a couple of months. I have high hopes for this coin because of the stealth staking but it will probably pop when it is announced but it won't beat out the top privacy coin. When you look at the community, its not as active and exchanges are pretty limited to cryptopia. We will see!
well your claims of community being not active are false,community is active a lot,community did a lot for this project to get recognized and are doing so,there were a lot of shill post here on this forum and we wanted them to stop cause it looks bad when every other post is about xspec as far as the project goes if stealth staking is implemented thats good sign and will give boost to community and price but with lack of exchanges price is limited, hopefully we get listed on more exchanges |

The projects that are with Waves are either very shady or has people representing them that have a conflict of interest. are either very shady or have people working for them that also work for Waves. The sole purpose of these projects is to extract money from the investors. Apart from all the money from scams to be Laundering in waves and others projects.
This is nothing new, many people know it, but they fall because they have monetary interests.

XRB, LEND, OMG have much better outlook and/or product than many in your list.
I would cut down on XRP/XVG/Xspec since all of those got multiple hundred % gains already and should be moving sideways, if not even correct further for the foreseeable future.
XLM is good but 50% of your portfolio is a no go for me, weight it down imo, its not like it can explode out of nowhere far more, it already did that the last months.
That is ofcourse if you bought recently and you re not stuck with pre-January pricing in which case I guess stick out and just consider adding some positions in proposed coins.
p.s. depending on what you re looking may also look into some more like Salt, NEBL (both nearing the end of their correction) and NEO(which wouldnt surprise me if it has the best performance from all top10 coins in 2018).
p.s. I would also add in some low-cap wild cards like ELIX & ADST. GL!

So many people believe that Waves didn't grow well enough to expectations levels.
I also believe Waves could already do better than neo but development process is too slow. Not very bullish on my side.
i must agree on that,I am surprised waves is not 100k+ satoshi right now.looking at december news and price movement i was dissapointed think they need to step up with marketing,so people realize potential of the coin. will wait how things with smart contracts develops,but i see more and more itos which is good for the platform Investing is a marathon, not a sprint.  IMO they shouldn't start marketing at the moment, it's not the right time. The wrong people would be attracted. Waves is beeing developed for the mainstream and when crypto is more socially acceptable it will rise organically. But of course when the main development is completed, marketing is the key. Furthermore decentralized exchanges will play a major role in crypto. In less than 2 years they have done a great job, with having a "real" product, not only a great whitepaper. That's what I think about it. i understand that and i agree,but just saying that with a lot of good news price didn't follow,in fact price fell down which surprised me. projects like eos,ada,tron without real product sit of billions of mc and waves with real product,good dev team and upcoming features doesn't even have 1bil,howering in range of dogecoin(really??) |

really don't understand why does it matter whats the jbg history,in short period that he is working on this project what he promised he delivered.
Anyways you didn't say anything new that should concern people who did their research.they know its gamble thats why mc is 60mil not 600mil...
you don't like to gamble you find is suspicious thats fine i respect that.lets wait for 1.4realease so we can see what are we dealing with,and q2 is not far along either so given previous expirience i will ride along and see how the project is progressing.I don't think almost 1 year of manipulating people to earn few thousands dollars from staking is worth it for jbg or for anyone

Depends on what risk you want. Go with Monero for low risk and low steady profit, or try Spectrecoin for potential great profit, but higher risk. Just keep away from Verge.
100% this. Hope anyone reading does their own research. Hopefully once XSPEC proves itself we won't have so much FUD spam. Monero is a very good coin, sucks that some outliers in their community have to make them look bad. XSPEC is a very good altcoin, it has had a fairly strong price increase a few weeks ago and is currently stable at $ 4. I have researched and invested in XSPEC deaths very early and I am still keeping it. I think that XSPEC can definitely increase in the coming time after the market rebound, I quite trust XSPEC strategy despite the recent bad news about it. and what bad news you refering to? |

osim kolege koji je predlozio uzivo nalazenje i razmjenu coinsa i fiata,kako mi netko moze garantirati da ce druga strana obaviti svoj dio posla,kako ce on znati da cu ja ispostovati dogovor?
Kako prodaješ neku vredniju stvar, tipa auto? I tu imaš tu brigu da će te druga strana zeznuti jer nemaš iskustva ili to ne radiš često. Po meni prije samog sastanka trebalo bi dogovoriti kako će teći proces kupoprodaje, tipa prvo kupac kriptovalute stavlja gotovina na stol da pokaže da ima novac (novac može druga strana i prebrojiti ali ga ne miče sa stola), a zatim prodavatelj prebacuju coine u kupčev wallet (naravno tu ne koristite najjeftinije transakcije nego platite viši fee da je sve gotovo u par minuta.) Kad coini sjednu u njegov wallet transakcija je gotova i svaki može svojim putem. Ako se radi o baš velikim svotama možda bi bilo dobro provjeriti prvo da li sve funkcionira s nekim skroz malim iznosom, da se ne dogodi situacija opisana na forumu. Kad je jedan korisnik poslao par ETHa a ovaj drugi ih nije vidio u svojem novčaniku, u takvim situacijama počinju problemi. ocito me nisi shvatio dobro,slazem se da je uzivo nalazenje i izvrsavanje trgovine tim putem pouzdan put,pitam se kako ces izvrsiti transakciju putem weba,kada nemamo prilike se naci uzivo,kako mogu vjerovati strancu ili on meni,ocito bi trebala neka stranica postojati gdje se moze vidjeti koliko je netko pouzdan... |
