I do not know if ETH is really a scam. But ETH is the most manipulated coin in history, I do not like it. That's it. It's a terrible system based on fake contracts creation for manipulate investors. |

I'm posting this question here as someone mentioned to post this in the altcoin subforum. I ask this because i notice Ethereum price has gotten way up... its already $225 or so already. I have heard about this and litecoin previously but didn't think much about it. I took a look at ethereum and it was around $10 a coin earlier this year.
That means if you had bought say 100 coins, well that $1000 would be already $22500 or so. If you bought 500 coins, that $5000 would be over $100,000 as of now.
Does anyone know if it was easy/hard to acquire ethereum earlier when it was $10?
Also where do i buy ethereum? Also do you need like a wallet for it? For example with bitcoin, you can leave your bitcoins on blockchain or use a wallet like electrum or armory etc on your computer etc. From what i heard, bitcoin is much easy to understand than ethereum.
How would i go about getting ethereum? Do i need to download a wallet on my computer like electrum? How long would that take? Im very interested in this as right now its around $225 or so and the thing is well... of course there is chance it can skyrocket all the way up to a lot more.
Also does anyone know much about litecoin or anything else? I read online that there is also zcash, dash, ripper and monero as the other cryptocurrencies etc. I want to know is it easy to buy/sell like it would similar to bitcoin. Im also guessing the most important crytocurrency besides bitcoin would be litecoin, ethereum, then zcash?
I ask this since the prices for these seem to be very low and of course it can go all the way up etc.
In this forum many coin are "sons" of Etherum. You talk with friends of this SCAM. Do you want invest your money? Invest on UNICEF or Amnesty International. This is a good job!P.S. Electrum is a wallet without download Bitcoin chain. But it's dangerous because your wallet hosted by web servers!
Monero, Cryptonote and Dash are good cryptocurrencies. Litecoin is obsolete. Namecoin is reborn. |

i wouldn't go as far as calling it a scam. ethereum is just a pretty terrible platform. and it is bad because it was created as a centralized altcoin which a big ICO and its main purpose is to make Vitalik and his investors rich out of nothing.
and it is over-hyped because of smart contracts which it handles pretty badly too. there are lots of bugs and exploits which happen every now and then and users and services using these lose a lot of money because of it.
for example a couple of days ago a Canadian exchange lost 14 million dollars because of it!
100% right here. thus u have GOOD project and devs (non ICO) like wbb (DLS) Today all people create or invest into new cryptocoins…But really the money have two fathers: Hackers and Banks! |

Yes eth and eth classic are scams along with coins like dash and monero. BTC, LTC, PPC and doge are the only coins with long term hope.
Monero and Dash are evolution of bitcoin. ETH, ETC, Ripple and NEM are scam networks look like Counterparty, Omni Layer, Nxt and others. Burst is a power safe coin. |

Thanks for FUDing OP, Ethereum project has scammed no one, it is just a seperate chain.
No one has lost their money because of the fork, and i have not seen a single piece of proof of a scam.

It's an alarm for not investing in ETH and ETC. Not writing stupid topics. 😒 It is crystal clear that the main intention of the user that created this thread is to dump the price of ETH/ETC amd grab some cheap of it. Or he opened a short position after the top was reached few days ago and it was already going down. But Brutalent is going to lose some money here because the bottom has been reached already and it's slowly rising now. His margin call is going to fuel the pump up, so thank you Brutalent for the money you're going to give me in the near future! I'll spend it wisely (= put it into bullmarkets instead of having the megalomanical ego thinking I can make the price sink of a huge volume coin by creating threads without content on this forum). Another scammer… Waiting guys! 😱 |
