21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: September 30, 2019, 06:57:12 AM
As I see many here on the forum they still look positively on BAKKT after its release even though the price of bitcoin has soared that it is also the cause of the collapse of potential altcoins in the market. But even so many are glad that the collapse of the market has been a good opportunity for them to buy potential coins that they could not buy in huge quantities before now that they can afford to hold onto what they are sure I am.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 30, 2019, 06:44:54 AM
I think it looks like an alternative way for investors to have an interest in investing in projects again. And with the rise of the IEO, investors are reliving their investment again as they see that the token is ready to exchange immediately, which in turn is due to IEO also increasing ICO credibility although There are still many ICO scams.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: September 30, 2019, 06:31:18 AM
don't rely on gift tokens because that will only bore you and not to mention you have to wait for them to be listed on the exchange or at least until they have a sale price to make up for your hard work.
I suggest balancing your time with other things you can do in this market and I think there are many ways to make a profit besides a prize campaign. I say this because I also feel bored with them and what I produce from gift tokens does not produce sweet fruit.
at this time I balance with trading, how about you?

I agree that there are many ways we can make money here in cryptocurrency, and Airdrops / Giveaways are just a part of making a profit. But you don't have to pay close attention to it since there are no free tokens for us to earn here in crypto but in Translation bounty, Community Manager, Signature campaign and Content creator in all the campaigns you can find.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: September 30, 2019, 06:08:19 AM
From the bounty campaigns, the useless tokens sent to my ETH address but only 1 or 2 tokens can be traded on the exchanges, the rest of the received tokens are dead. The zero daily volume and no orders on the order book is the sign of the weak developing of the project. Dead projects just produce one more coin in the crypto space and investors don't appreciate the existence of those coins. Giving up on that projects is my last choice but holding these coins will not add any penny to the value of my crypto portfolio except diversification.

I have the tokens I received at my ERC20 eth address which until now have no exchange and there are others that have almost no value in the exchange, which is really annoying when you pay for the token waste in the market because there are no buyers there is interest to buy it, for no reason, as VTM listed Latoken at 200K token more than I received in wallet but Zero volume latoken a few months ago, when I transferred to latoken I lost due to transaction charge or gas will be deducted from my eth balance. That's why you consider it Dead coins.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: September 30, 2019, 05:56:44 AM

This year 2017 is the old ico that can be said for sure. So if the project's longest run is only 2 months and then just 2 weeks after the project, the payment will go straight to your erc20 wallet, unlike today from 2018 up to now most of them till now without exchange, others abandoned their telegram channel and others ignored their project, the thickness of the face. With the new projects now, often it seems, the campaign will end sooner but the distribution of rewards after 3 months or after 3months, while others openly betray the bounty hunters and make the bounty hunters stupid and beggar, is the truly trending to this day.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: September 30, 2019, 05:46:19 AM
Why do you think that everyone is afraid that some of the new projects
some people without doing any research,    They despise a project, which makes other people agree.
is this lack of literacy in the study makes them fail ?
Does this lack of information bring down a project, that MAY have a bright future ?

They are worried because what they have in mind may not be as good as the money they give out if you are an investor. If you are a Bounty hunters then you should read the whitepaper of the new project first, and then determine the team members on the project as to whether they are true or not later copied to another project.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2019, 05:35:44 AM
I am determined to buy FB coin Libra even though it is not available yet. I hope it is available on exchanges where i can buy easily.

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins? I am afraid that the prices of BTC and other altcoins will go down. It makes me hesitate to buy some currencies like TRX currently.

In what article did you find or read that Facebook or Libra coin would be a threat to Bitcoin and to altcoins, You seem to insult Bitcoin and crypto believer in this forum. Then do you know where to get them to buy them? Sure, I don't know. And you really won't know because no one has been announced about it yet. I noticed that it has been a month since I was but I am not sure ah, he is so quiet now that he is not in the noise of crypto news.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about WhiteBit exchange? on: September 30, 2019, 05:24:07 AM
Is this the exchange I read in a thread section here that a member of the forum complained that he was depositing around 1000 $ on this platform and then suddenly there are new rules that you can't withdraw if you are not verified by KYC in whitebit. And all of a sudden, they are issuing such rules without telling the whitebit users that they have been hacked or that they have been deposited. Plus the volume of the whitebit platform is not that impressive, so I prefer to use the exchange known in the market.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me a good coin to invest in. on: September 30, 2019, 05:08:38 AM
If you really want to invest in crypto world you should know that no matter what you choose for coins you can grow it and you can't, in this scenario you should be prepared and accepting it, as there are many potential coins in the market but more Many are not potential, so you should carefully consider which coins you will buy so that you will not lose or lose them eventually.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 30, 2019, 04:53:07 AM
The traditional norms made us believe that savings are a safe option to store your wealth.
But is it true now?
With inflation, we all know that the prices of the wealth we have kept in our savings account will decrease. What is the use of saving when ultimately we are not even able to enjoy what we have been saving for years?
The smarter option?
Investment! Investment is not gambling if done rightly. Very often we see people not putting too much effort into learning and jumping into FOMO. They don’t have enough guidance that will help them to invest better.

Most people nowadays, they believe that saving money is all about saving money to the bank right away, and even though they make a small profit because their money is safe to put in the bank, they are more afraid They use their money in an investment scheme that has a big chance that it will grow big but it's also a gamble and they don't want to gamble because they fear losing their money.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Declining? And What’s Next? on: September 30, 2019, 04:43:45 AM
Up till now, the price of bitcoin in the market has been low, since BAKKT launched last 23, of September 2019 and it seems that it has remained between 8000 $ to 8250 $, I think it controls it if it high value thinking. Or it could be that many are buying bitcoin at its current price.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: September 30, 2019, 04:22:22 AM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?

You must be ready to enter into crypto trading, otherwise, you must be ready to fight there should be a weapon in your hand. Day trading can help you a lot if everything you do is right and orderly, First you have to buy the coins you need, secondly, the exchange you use for day trading, having High volume in the market is huge traders is a huge advantage
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: September 30, 2019, 04:09:59 AM
Hello

I have spare $300 that my friend suggested to use to start cryptotrading, as this is the maximum amount of money affordable to lose. I have a month of free time to trade with btc. Currently I don't have income and I have three ways to set it: cryptotrading, freelancing as programmer, or full-time job. I chose to expirement and try luck with trading and freelancing, if there is no success with any for september, I will choose full-time job. If I can make about $500 per month with all of these methods or some of them, I can forget about job for a while, which is highly preferrable.

So my questions are:
  • Can I learn and do trading for month to make at least some money(around $100-$250), while doing freelance programming? I can arrange 3-5 hours for each activity per day.
  • Should I start trading on OTC exchange or regular exchange? I tried bisq to sell btc, but it seems like there you can do it with rather huge amounts of money I can't afford to make offer with. This is because of security deposit of 50% of trade amount. Maximum offer amount I can make is 150$ whereas there are more offers which range $100-$1000. They also seem more profitable for btc buyers due to less interest, than that I chose. After scrolling thorugh bitcointalk, my only options left for OTC are localbitcoins and paxful. And I don't really like any of these because of shitty customer support on both. Moreover LBC nowadays has attitude to KYC everyone, I don't like it because I would keep my personal information than send it to someone

The $ 300 value is a great start to the world of crypto or bitcoin trading. One of the great referrals to your choice of exchange is Binance, Coinbene, Houbi, okex or Kucoin. I didn't seem to be familiar with the exchange you mentioned so I gave another exchange knowing that I'm sure I wouldn't be disappointed in you also you can learn a lot of things here.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: September 29, 2019, 07:54:52 AM
We all have different  prospective regarding the investment , be it long term or short term.

Bitcoin has been the most amazing invention and has given massive return of investment for those who joined from 2013. From low point in 2013 to 20k in 2017, it has gone from one end to another end. Right now today its trading at $10461 per bitcoin. The prediction is with just 21 million maximum supply it will reach 1 million bucks per coin one day.

Gold has been one of the most popular investment for centuries. Every country or government be it in the past or present always prefer gold reserve over their own currency even to prepare themselves for financial meltdown. Right now GOLD is being traded at $1425/oz.

So my question is which one you would chose for your investment ? Which one you would chose to outperform the other ? GOLD or BITCOIN? Please tell us with a reason why ?

Thanks everyone for taking part in this discussion.

As a non-rich person, I would rather invest in Bitcoin than Gold, because with bitcoin you can have a small amount in our pocket. But Gold you can't buy the cheap you have, but at what price it is at the market for what you buy. Just think that for only $ 10 you can buy bitcoin but in gold, you can't buy that value. I mean I can say that bitcoin has no choice over who should buy it.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: September 29, 2019, 07:26:45 AM
I just find out that some coins might start with very low volume and marketcap and end up growing big? true or false? i tracked back some old coins that start with trading volume around 6k and end up in millions, is this still possible today?

Even if the field of crypto trading is well known or not an exchange you can make a lot of money on a small investment, and know how much he has done

and still does today with me, just how much better do on well-known exchange platforms such as Kucoin, binance or Houbi or Okex.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: September 29, 2019, 07:15:44 AM
The biggest mistakes developers make that leads to bad ending for many projects are

1. Huge Discounts
Many new projects are still making this mistake over and over again, huge discounts like 50% is insane and it always bother me how the hell the early buyers won't end up dumping since they have already see big profits.

2. Lack Of Solid Products and Ideas
Lack of working products and real use cases is why many investors are not taking new projects very seriously, no one would want to hold such tokens or coins for long, developers need to start working on how their project's token or coin will be very demanding throughout the globe

3. Bad Exchanges
Imagine new projects that make over millions of dollars in ico or ieo and end up listing on bad exchanges with no enough volume, what do they expect to happen?

I have seen such a result of the project, the size of the collected fund, the announcement after the collapse of the bad exchange, not the flashlight, the product usages of the utility token they created, such a savvy developer. and thinking nothing but getting money that he did not have to deal with, so killing those developers is a huge discount to keep investors interested, should investors also think about why the size of the discount, not what they will pay which is great for small investments, but they also don't notice that because other investors have become greedy, the developer should simulate ETHEREUM for a few years of use and future use as the product usages are valued.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Anyone suggest me a Good ICO or an IEO? on: September 29, 2019, 07:02:32 AM
I am just the opposite to remind you to be able to leave IEO or ICO because it is proven that it is only a "Trend" And what is happening now can prove that ICO and IEO Contains scammers who continue to change the scheme to be able to benefit from investors

You indeed said this Sir, IEO has only become a trend but its just been ICO, I don't know if others notice that IEO can also be used as a scammer's instrument to gather money to investors also through exchanges that they use that are not well known in the crypto world, because some people think IEO is okay, they are wrong. A lot of me have seen that style of project.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the libra project be halted? on: September 29, 2019, 06:47:23 AM
Right before the launch of libra the global coin, a lot of controversies is associated with the project. Amongst it controversies is that from Yves Mersch  an ECB executive board member who said Libra is a “siren call” that will ultimately lead to the formation of a “cartel-like” ecosystem.

It is noted that libra is designed in a way to give Facebook centralized control over the entire entity admist Facebook claim they won't be directly involved in the libra ecosystem.

However the group that will be managing libra project is calibra a fully owned subsidiary of Facebook which is indicative Facebook will still have full control over the ecosystem.

Facebook has acknowledged what many have been saying – that regulatory issues may be an insurmountable barrier to the launch of its Libra global cryptocurrency project.

And not only is Libra “based on relatively new and unproven technology,” the laws and regulations around digital currency are “uncertain and evolving.”

Central banks, government ministers and watchdog chiefs have been lining up to demand more information on the project over fears it could pose a threat to central bank money and financial stability, and provide a global avenue for money laundering and fraud.

In your opinion should the libra project be halted?

At present, there is no concrete announcement as to whether it will actually launch its true start in the crypto business. Someone says next year but no month and date yet. If it continues to launch, I believe that it will have control and manipulation with every potential FB user and that it can also be a huge success for big companies in this regard.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 29, 2019, 06:35:41 AM
I began to avoid vague projects like this, due to previous experience. They only fall for a lot of money, even though they were sincere in the beginning.

Almost most projects right now start with all the good words they say they just get their purpose. But when they realized that their funds were large, all of their unpopular announcements to bounty participants who helped them do all they could, to not only compensate the poor hunters, to do nothing but to compensate, even to compensate it's really like the beggar begging you to pay, which is annoying.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: September 29, 2019, 06:19:45 AM
The altcoin industry have lost some big percentage of patronizers due to the poor performance of the market in the recent months, this have cause so many enthusiasts to lose interest in altcoins in general thinking the cryptocurrency industry can do with them. There's no denied the industry can do without most of the present altcoins but cryptocurrency can't can't survive without altcoins been present in general. No disrespect to Bitcoin as it started the journey but the industry have grown beyond bitcoin.

The achievement and development ethereum as a blockchain has contributed for the industry, if the industry had just bitcoin it wouldn't had recorded such developments. We can't do without altcoins, they have become a part of the industry. The sooner we realized that  the better the industry become. Don't misunderstand this post, I'm not advising against investing in bitcoin or encouraging investing in the present altcoins although, all I'm trying to say is, if you think the altcoin industry is going into exile, think again.

The altcoin industry is only going through a phase which won't kill it and as what doesn't kill you only make you stronger, the altcoin market will come out stronger as the good will be separated from the bad projects although bitcoin will always be a household name. Invests wisely and don't forget the best of the best altcoins are yet to be developed, the current ones I consider them to be just test dummies, preparing the way for future altcoins.

What's your take on this, do you think the industry can survive without altcoins that's just bitcoin been the only currency in the space.

It seems that when altcoins are lost in this industry bitcoin will have a hard time raising its price value. Bitcoin and Altcoin are helping each other and we can't deny that because of the altcoins the name of Bitcoin breaks. Because of that, many in different parts of the world or countries are well aware of bitcoin and the countless lives of the Bitcoin and altcoin industries have changed countless times and this is the truth most of them know.
