Holly Cow!

Observing @ $12,510

Are we poor again?
Nope, we are becoming rich too quick and that's a problem 🤪

We don't want to see us rich overnight instead a steady growth will do a great job.

What do you mean?

I'm waiting since 2016!

Looking good boys (and girl)

I have a workmate so stupid he bought at 13k, has been holding all this time and tell everybody he will sell as soon as price is back to what he payed. Everyday he curses me aloud for suggesting him to buy BTC back in 2017, and gets triggered when I ask him why selling for the same price after an year if the odds now are that he can make at least some profit. He became a BTC hater.

Yes! He just sold! Weak hand, didn't even wait for 13k!!!

Remember son, if it wasn’t for your Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather buying Bitcoin all those years ago, we would still be living on Earth

That scared the shit outta me.

Bitcoin 2019 in San Francisco. Pomp and Draper.

Tim talking about the bet he made with the Argentinean president. If Tim wins, Argentina makes bitcoin legal tender.

As if Argentina's president had any power to do so...
They're a Republic, two houses must agree with majority, otherwise ...

Don’t ever underestimate the power of greed. Those who bought and are holding at ranges 13-20k had the mindset of selling to recoup or even break even once price reaches those price points again. i have a feeling many of these peoples mindset will revert back to their pre purchase mentality. Hop on board and hodl as the eco system has changed and more belief in btc has come into fruition.

Those who bought in the ranges of 13k and above must have sold their bitcoins in loss. There might be very few people who have such a holding power and a mental strength to hold the coins for over a year and still not panic seeing bitcoin moving down to 3000$.

Hahahaha

sounds like a dipshit to me, and a bit of a unicorn, at least in the sense that: 1) fails/refuses to take responsibility for his own decision and 2) failed to have (or later create) a plan, other than exiting, for anything other than immediate UP.

He's the average Get Rich Quick loser...

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $11k continues... currently $10901USD/$14375CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Last week it was the battle for $9k, the week before that, the battle for $8k. This is proceeding quite nicely.

Go Bitcoin go.

You're our hero, Jimbo!

Hey, watch out. You're gonna make this go to my head.

Puny assets like WOsMerits probably mean little to a True Legend, but what's due is due.

+1 WOsMerit for being the badassest of the bunch.

I wish I had more smerit. They'd be all Jimbo's.

Thanks to my young GF for making me feel less old  Smiley

You're our hero, Jimbo!

Do you raise cattle and slaughter them?
I once helped slaughter a cow.  In Neuquen province.  A couple of gauchos dragged a beef out of the pen, tied it to a tree, and stuck a knife in its throat.  I helped 'em skin it.  And they gave me a couple slices of raw heart to eat.  Did you know heart is good to eat raw?

Do you also mine your coins or just buy'em at the supermarket? Errr, I mean, exchange.

TBH, "breaking" $10k ain't going to be easy. It's a very strong number:

-Back in February/March 2018, it acted as a support.
-From March 2018 to May 2018, it acted as a strong resistance, and BTC was ultimately rejected at near to $10k.
-Psychological resistance (the round number).

My guess is that we're going to stay below $10k for a while (for a couple of months) and then break it. Till then, we'll keep on touching it again and again and face rejections.

How much do you charge for this amazing forecast?

Just need 0.27 more corn-units to finish off a full kernel. Not buying into this. See a retraction already down to $9,750.  Will consider an offering to Karhu @ $9.5ish

Still need 1.25BTC to reach a good, solid, round number target I set myself last year. Not a problem if I don’t make it but it’d be nice.

I could pile fiat savings in & buy corn but I like to keep a good amount of fiat separate, just incase.

Still need 10000BTC to do anything I want whenever I want.

Try selling Lazlo a couple pizzas.

I think Libra will be the most convenient stablecoin. With a BTC/Libra pair, you can easily use your BTC trading profits to order a taxi with uber/lyft, renew your Spotify subscription or book a hotel on booking.com. There is no need to sell your BTC for usd/euro and then withdraw from exchange to your bank account which takes what? 2-3 business days?

Libra is what all those shitcoins/tokens have tried to accomplish for 2-3 years now by making a crypto card that allows you to easily spent your crypto on goods and services. If it works well and is convenient to use it will make the lives of Bitcoiners easier, if you are willing to sacrifice some of your privacy.

...and only the Millennials, GenZ'ers, and other clueless pleebs will be willing.

Zuckerberg, is that you?

Nice to see you too Torque! Many people I've missed this year are still around!

Well good morning Bitcoinland.

Another AYH over $9.9k, another healthy correction/retrace... currently $9772USD/$12900CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

All is well in Bitcoinland.

Go Bitcoin go.

I'm back!
Things smell the same since my 1+ year absence.
Is Jimbo still around?

Still alive and kicking.

Back from a winter in Mexico with my pretty Mexican GF and nice new bottom teeth. Gotta wait until next year for the top ones. One of the implants failed so I got another bone graft and will try again in November. Another summer without chomping apples and corn in the cob. Sigh.

How about you? Feeling better? Things going well?

Glad you're back.

Great to see you, man!

You loverboy!

Hope it works fine!

Great, I've been doing some BTC/LTC trades meanwhile, made some more BTC, easy shot. I've been considering moving to Canada, but a small European country has seduced me, although I still think Canada is charming.

Great to see you around, I'm always waiting for your morning posting.

As for upside on digital shitcoins, as I've said a million times already, you cannot rig the price of Bitcoin to like $60k while cost of production is $3-6k.  People would never buy the $60k coins when they can just mine it for 1/10th the price.

so.. the average person, who can barely run a computer, will buy asic(s), join a pool and setup a wallet (as many exchanges dont like miners paying direct to them, but maybe thats changed), and send the pool payouts to maybe an online wallet, maybe a hardware wallet, whatever. then send to an exchange.

and take the time to figure all that out from scratch (and probably make mistakes or get burned in the process) just to acquire some btc. when they can just join an exchange and buy it right now (yes at a premium vs a miners cost), no fuss no bother. quick and easy.

so yes many people will pay more, possibly a lot more, than the mining cost to acquire btc. after all they will still profit if the price goes up. miners will make more (at the time and expense of acquiring, setting up and maintaining asics and pools) but profit is profit.

Do you raise cattle and slaughter them for your family subsistence or do you just buy meat at the supermarket paying the chain costs and a premium?
