Tai um ponto que eu nao havia pensado sobre e que faz sentido.
Porem o lucro tem sido de 4 dolares ao mes e nao 4 reais o que ja faz alguma diferença e ao mesmo tempo moro com outras duas pessoas.
Quando comecei a minerar disse a elas que arcaria com os custos extras de energia, mas como foram muito baixos, a galera relaxou e todo mundo divide a luz igual.
Quanto a depreciação da maquina, é exatamente a mesma de uma maquina gamer que rode jogos pesados o tempo todo.
Maquinas foram feitas pra serem usadas em sua potencia maxima e nao em sua potencia "idle"
Claro que vai depender da qualidade da maquina, mas é por ai.

I mine XMR and AEON with my machines and then exchange them for BTC.
I also do some faucets that pay a little better than most, but i agree that most faucets are a waste of time. I do them only to increase my earnings a little bit.
I still cant sign up for signature campaigns but im willing to do that as soon as possible.
Another thing i did was linking my btc wallet to my byteball wallet so i get some free bytes every distribution round.
Not sure if im going to trade my bytes for BTC, since i think price will go up after the last distribution round.
Also trying to get a significant number of affiliates for the pool i use, but we need a lot of affiliates to get some reasonable income.

Não uso gato e recentemente troquei do XMR pro AEON, que ta me dando muito mais lucro.
Eu fiz todas as contas ai em cima e como disse antes, a diferença é pequena. Meu lucro é mais ou menos uns 3-4$ por mes.
Mas como disse, minha aposta nao é no imediato e sim na valorização das moedas.

Só que a minha única intenção aqui foi mostrar que vale a pena minerar com CPU sim, ao contrario do que muitos dizem por aqui.

E depois o teimoso sou eu.... que preguiça...

e um mau usuário gasta muito mais seu note do que um miner bem configurado.

uma cpu ligada, sem o monitor gasta mais ou menos o equivalente a uma lampada amigo.
ainda mais pra quem ja deixava ela ligada fazendo outras coisas.

Dependendo do seu note rola minerar XMR nele de boa.
A galera aqui fala muito sem saber.
Eu minero com minhas CPUs em dois notes. O custo é praticamente zero e da umas moedinhas.
Não é algo significativo mas se pensando em guardar pro futuro e ver se valoriza pode ser bem interessante.
Se você ligar a GPU tb, caso o note tenha, é que você vai ter problemas, muito provavelmente, porque ai sim o seu PC pode esquentar mais do que deveria.
Uma dica legal tb é desligar seu note por umas duas horinhas a cada semana, pra deixar ele esfriar.

Mas isso vale pra altcoins, bitcoin vc nao vai nem conseguir.

Could it hurt Bitcoin? Yes.
Could it destroy Bitcoin? Probably not.
Also, If you own most of it, why would you want to hurt it?
I think the point now for cryptocurrencies is much more about how to popularize it for common people and common markets and not only for people that are somehow related to programing or technology.
My best shot would be a strong, anonymous currency that could be mined by people without them having to invest in new techs and super equips every year. I mean decent mining on phones or even when you are doing some stupid exercise in a gym.
This, along with nice GUIs for storing, trading and mining would make people want to use cryptocoins in their local business.
China has absolutely nothing to do with it unless the fact they have 1/6 of earth's population so is pretty ok to expect that there are more chinese people in anything thats international and online than any other nationality in the world.
Bitcoin will die if it cant reach regular peoples houses for some time from now and for this to happen, i dont think the chinese would have much more to do about it then other people from other countries.
Its not about who mines more or trades more, its about if people are using it or not.
Whithout Chinese megafarms  maybe our transactions would take ages to confirm or maybe Bitcoin network would not be able to grow.
The more people trading bitcoin, the more miners we need.
So if theres something that can kill bitcoin imho, its not a nationality, but the inability of the coin to make itself popular and mineable along regular people, not only TI and technology fans.

I think every GPU listed here needs a better font than a Corsair cx430 as i understand.
Ill probably get a new font too.

Hello, i want to make some upgrade on my PC.
Its actually a gaming PC but now i want to optimize it for mining too.
Im currently mining Monero and my specs are:

CPU Intel i5 2500 3.3Ghz
8GB RAM
Motherboard Itautec ST4273
Font Corsair CX430
GPU AMD Radeon 5800


I was thinking about replacing the GPU, since my i5 is not bad at all for CPU mining. am i correct?
If so, which would be the best GPU for mining under my actual font (plz note that even saying its 430W i think the real wattage is something like 336W)
And in case i do need a better font, whats specs would you reccomend?

PS: i currently live in a country with very high taxes for hardwares so i cant just buy the latest stuff.
PS²: im not concerned about the ROI atm, since i also use the PC to play and surf the web, so its actually something i always do upgrade.
