21  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 22, 2017, 06:58:05 AM
Winklevoss Twins, known for their legal battle with him, earned $11 million from their investments in Bitcoin.

$11 million that they earned? That's quite a joke considering they have taken a 100,000 BTC position into Bitcoin years ago. Sure, they may have cashed out a decent number of coins, but that $11 million in profits is a tiny and insignificant figure compared to what they are holding. Can you link me to an article that will help explain how this $11 million in profits is set up? It's too low to be just based on their position in Bitcoin....

Yes, sure, here it is:

http://gazettereview.com/2017/05/top-10-richest-bitcoin-millionaire/

I didn't know they've had 100,000 BTC, probably cahsed out most of it earlier, poor poor guys.  Smiley

Also, can you link me to a reliable source about those 100,000 BTC? Because I've found only this https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4stfw9/for_one_bitcoin_to_be_worth_100000/ where they say about it in a comment with only one point.

So satoshi nakamoto is the richest bitcoiner in the world, well no doubt since he is the founder.
Curious how did he hide his/her identify - whoever this person is, must be hiding somewhere or could be one of the famous people that we know.

29  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 20, 2017, 07:45:41 AM
I think a great combination of having a steady income - is having a business and a job that doesn't requires most of your time. Like you have money that you can invest on your business and at the same time you won't be scared in losing money that much since you have a paying stable job.
30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitconnect.io earn money by lending (review) on: June 20, 2017, 06:08:52 AM
Looks like a ponzi scheme - be careful, you know once you earned you should really take all the earning before its too late.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 20, 2017, 03:12:29 AM
Just because the btc price is going low, it means it's going into bankruptcy. Don't panic - this is actually the best time to buy btc and wait for it to go up again - sell it when the price rise up.
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: June 20, 2017, 02:38:19 AM
I think the marijuana is the only recreational drug that actually has benefits.
It sucks that people misuse it and that's why it can't pass even for medicinal use. Keep in mind, though, that there are negative effects of smoking too much pot or using it for non-medicinal purposes. When overused or abused, pot can lead to dependency and mess with your memory and emotions.

33  Economy / Services / Re: Simple job - earn btc now (status: PAYING) on: June 19, 2017, 08:01:19 AM

35  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Meaning of life...? on: June 19, 2017, 07:43:37 AM
Well probably the meaning of life depends/pertains on the significance or living existence is general.
You only have one life and you better use it and enjoy it well.
For me, the meaning of life is give love - give love on others and specially give love to yourself. Do what ever that makes you happy. Make a good memory and do good and make a great impact on other people that is close to you. Smiley
36  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin faucets help. newbie on: June 19, 2017, 07:21:09 AM

38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for beginners to avoid getting scammed on: June 19, 2017, 01:21:54 AM
Just like real money - we really need to be careful with our btc.
Be careful of those fake bitcoin exchanges Often on social media you’ll see a link saying something like “Buy bitcoin for 5% under market value. Save big!” This is a marketing trick to get you to visit and use their fake exchange.
If you visit any exchange site the very first thing you want to do is make sure it’s HTTPS secured and not HTTP. This means that the web traffic is encrypted and secured; if it’s just HTTP without the “S” that is a big red flag and means stay away.
Another red flag to look out for are fake exchanges that offer selling Bitcoin for PayPal. On these sites you’ll see a web form to enter your PayPal email and amount to sell. After submitting, you will be presented with a QR code to send your bitcoin to. But the money never arrives. Also, be cautious with those fake bitcoin wallet - Just like with fake Bitcoin exchange sites, you should trust your instincts and look for red flags. Does the wallet site use HTTPS? Is the name of the wallet site trying to resemble another reputable Bitcoin wallet by impersonating it? Outside of the obvious, it may be hard to tell if a wallet is fake. A good practice is to ask your peers if someone has used the wallet before.
39  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CNN CAUGHT CREATING FAKE NEWS on: June 17, 2017, 12:51:56 PM
Aren't all media make fake news. Sucks you know the powerful are the ones who rewrites the history.
40  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: June 16, 2017, 01:41:09 AM
This would be a great idea, but in the Philippines, it's still not an acceptable payment for restaurants - although bitcoins are now being accepted for payments for bills and load. I think this should be implemented mostly on fast foods to reduce the long line due to ordering and payment.
