HI is the swap finished by now?I have some coins in yobit and cryptopia.

I believe the deadline is the 15th of June, contact skype account bitcoin_arabie for the details and final swap of DBIC for DBIX.

We are approaching our extra DBIX burning date deadline of June 15th, and thus we will have a grace period for those who have fund in Cryptopia  and yobit to swap their coins in the coming 2 weeks by reaching out to skype account bitcoin_arabie

No need to be listed on lots of exchanges. DBIX needs a breakout product with tuned backend. If it has it will skyrocket then. Other ways are like children plays in sandbox imho). I see one nice thing in project, but other sucks.

Exchanges interested in volumes only. Have you something provide them what they want with DBIX? And why polo or bittrex? They need crypto exchange startup in Dubai.))) This will be a right thing)

What you see is what we have. I would rather see DBIX on BTC38 in China and thats not the easiest task these days.

Dbix rise on Livecoin... + 43%
thats great that dbix is rising
any news about adding dbix on other exchange like poloniex
i am waiting for that when dbix add on other exchanges
and dbix value will rise like never before
DBIX never go to Poloniex
You will see, DBIX will listed on poloniex and other two big exchanges... listen and follow me  Cool Cool Cool Cool

u think this is going to happen this year 2017 or is it long term goal to get listed in these big exchanges?
thanks for ur reply

Of course its a goal. I believe it will be listed there once it does the amount of volume needed to get on there. It was doing that type of volume then it dipped but is picking now. Plus we just went through a hard fork and historically exchanges are hesitant to add any coin recently Hard Forked until they can monitor it for a while in order to protect their clientele from a catastrophic loss. How long would they monitor it, thats the million dollar question but I can tell you we are not on any large exchanges radar at this point based on Buy support, price and volume. We need to step it up a bit. There is a lot in play behind the scenes to make this happen so something positive will happen I just do not know when. Dr Anthony Sousa managed to get a couple colleagues of his from the IoT space to take interest in DBIX and they happen to own a giant payment gateway along with the other guy happened to be the owner of CoinPayments https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins which I just happened to notice earlier today was added to their platform so I believe wit all involved that this effort should bare fruit at some point but does not negate the fact that we need to step up the buy support, price and daily volume in its current trading venue so we will see its not like it is not known what needs to be done.

And from which block number fix will be work?
It is hardfork or what?
In release you write "that this is update for difficulty in current hardfork"
What that mean? If somebody don`t upgrade node or wallet what will be?

Its not a Hard Fork but only an update on the current one.

Can you give us an update on the conference that you attended. what happened, did you get potential investors. there is hardly any trading happening on this coin, what are you guys doing to propel this.
Thanks

I heard things went fairly well but was not provided with any specific details as of yet. I will let you guys know when I get more information.

I never hear that change difficulty calculation can do with just update.
All change in difficulty calculation MUST be doing throw hardfork. Otherwise you will get complete chaos in network.

You should check the code commit and source your findings that support any pre determined conclusions you might have made in this regard.

Gdbix v1.4.9-2 Update Fix

what is the good news
am i missing somthing
i f i am missing somthing please let me know
and any news about dbix adding any exchange or not yet

"and any news about dbix adding any exchange or not yet"

I wish there was some news regarding new exchanges but for some reason at this time its unusually difficult to get them to add certain new coin projects these days. Personally 6+ Bitcoin in volume and 2+ Bitcoin on the buy side at Livecoin.net makes the coin to appear to be under supported. There should be 100 Bitcoin on the buy side and twice that in daily trading. Lets show them we are serious about this.

I think, the price will dump to 0.001next 24h... No update, no news. No devs, no ,no,no, in my opinion ,the team are the first reason to this coin not succeed.

I'm still waiting for new actions from Dev and Team But it seems they had disappeared in the sky.
Why a big project has no updates for investors? I feel worried about this issue.

We can only update with facts. I always post as soon as I am told any news which I can confirm.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ArabianChain - DubaiCoin (DBIX) - Smart Contracts from Dubai to the World on: May 23, 2017, 09:35:31 AM
why this error?

blockchain not work?

It looks like its trying to broadcast to an old chain on Ethereum or something but I could be wrong. tBlock# 1920000 was the infamous Ethereum DAO-Hard Fork last July 2016. The Block Explorer on my end seems to be acting funny however but Livecoin.net wallet appears fine. I unfortunately had to sell my ether mining rig earlier in the year so I have no way to monitor or test anything in Ubuntu or windows with some decent AMD Radeon cards. This has complicated things for me big time.

I will let you know whats up as soon as I hear anything.

Community- Any feedback in this regard would be great.

How long does it take to confirm blocks from livecoin wallet?

Targeted average is 90 seconds but they could be drifting 30% but not make any difference which wallet as long as they are in synch with the network.

Hello Everyone,

Everything is falling into place nicely. DBIX will soon be added to a number of exchanges that our team has been in contact with.
The exchanges will be ones that you are familiar with.  Any questions feel free to Contact me on linked in at https://www.linkedin.com/in/tonysousaenterprises/ or  @ Anthony.Sousa(at)Waldenu(dot)edu

Poloniex or Bittrex?

Both would be nice but as soon as the new Block Explorer is released I plan to revisit Bittrex for consideration based on the success of the Hard Fork and the new Block Explorer and see what they do from there since they are not allowed to comment on the status of any coin to be added.

Hoping to hear other relevant news soon but like anything there are no guarantees only that best efforts are underway.

Any news for big exchange ? .

Not yet. Bittrex locked up the thread I was working in for a month trying to get DBIX added and have not responded in 2 weeks in this specific regard. I am not ruling out that they won't add DBIX just yet, its a wait and see at this point. Everyone should write Poloniex and ask Tristan to add DBIX and see what he says. They are have their own share of issues from the massive DDoS attacks plus regulators looking into Insider Trading so there are definite obstacles but a concerted community effort to get added could only help now or when the actual time comes.

In this world you should be smart, take your chance.

I agree Cryptorios.

This is the worst project I have ever seen for information. It completely sucks.

Not sure what kind of information your wanting to hear, we post every time we get news and try not to answer already answered questions or ones that are easily located in the OP.

Block time will become normal since the moment actual net hashrate will be equal to hashrate shown in stats and stay constant. Fluctuations are main problem. I have no idea how to do it (may be total brain surgery))) You should read about auto difficulty adjust and how algo works in general. Big hashes comes when difficulty low, catch fast blocks, rise difficulty up and go out. You stay in and mine this high difficulty blocks and so on.

If developers decrease this delay, then big hashes will mine a lot of coins without any useful for the project. Then value of token dumped to zero. Investors come to developers and ask "where is my f...ing money?" And so on..

ubiq has solved this problem with new difficulty algorithm:

Quote
https://github.com/ubiq/go-ubiq/releases
This is a hard fork release so you will need to upgrade before block 8000.

The previous hard fork was activated without any issue but the Digishield difficulty algorithm is proving to be inadequate. We have coded up a new solution called the Flux Difficulty Algorithm. This is a minor adjustment to Digishield so that it implements throttling which will eliminate the peaks and troughs of the difficulty chart. This works by making an extra comparison with the previous block time and throttling the rate of change. The current Ethereum difficulty algorithm works using the approach of looking at the time of the previous block.

We have been testing this for a few days in our local Testnet and the results look good. We do not anticipate any issues and we are in close conversation with our pool operators.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Could help?

https://github.com/ubiq/go-ubiq/commit/d8bb1eeded866926dce347b268e7103f4e95ebab

Anyway, I have a lot of confidence in the arabianchain dev...good job guys!  Wink

I consulted with the Ubiq dev and got some great advice specific to this issue early on, including an offer to handle the Hard Fork. Those guys Rock!!

the difficulty issue is something with addressed with ubiq at the beginning, with the introduction of our flux difficulty algorithm. our target time is 88seconds
so theres a few easy options for difficulty, minor tweaks to eth difficulty (like EXP) howver you will likely see a constant ~30% drift from target time with that approach. Or replace with diff adjustment all together, adding flux from ubiq. with flux, you will still see some odd blocks times, fast, slow, but over time, everything averages out almost perfectly on target time
either option would require a hard fork release

However the choice was made above, as a team to allow the current ArabianChain programmer to handle the Hard Fork himself. I believe it to be a fair decision that was made. I have spent some time chatting with the ArabianChain dev and I believe he is highly qualified and capable of the task which he has completed and which was fully implemented in the Hard Fork which began at Block 39k. I believe that the issue has a really excellent chance of being solved through the Hard Fork. I think that we all need to support the ArabianChain dev and give this the proper amount of time needed in order to resolve itself through the modifications made in the Hard Fork in order for it to reasonably reach the the desired 90 seconds Block Timed emissions or as close to the 90 second average as possible since obviously DBIX is not the only Ethereum Clone to experience this issue.

Lets give it some time. The emissions should eventually average out at the targeted 90 seconds average. Its barely been 400 Blocks since the Hard Fork. But I here what your saying although its still probably a little early to even begin timing 24 hour averages yet.
