21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: June 27, 2017, 01:26:56 PM
Current users are not like they used to be with the beginning of the forum, when everyone was capable of discussing the pure technical details related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Currently discussion are more "broad" and "normal" hence I think majority of people here are "ordinary citizens" or people with no extensive technical experience.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 01:14:13 PM
guys, help me. how many computers I must have to mine 1 bitcoin per 2 weeks?
Allot, and not regular PC's but mining equipment.

I earned a bitcoin in the beginning 2 years ago through promotions, and tasks through different small tasks, sold it a while ago and so don't possess it now but the same idea.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to pass on your bitcoin inhertance on: June 27, 2017, 01:05:49 PM
I don't know and I don't want to consider that anytime soon, you could always keep your private keys in a secure bank vault and giving the passphrase to a trusted family member to use if there is a need, Most people here are less than 50 though and not considering that point now.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 27, 2017, 12:59:21 PM
This is probably the most controversial issue with bitcoin, the fact it isn't regulated and anonymous this leads to significant regulating issues with countries trying to have complete control on the Tx's in their countries like India and Russia/China.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the bitcoin run out? on: June 27, 2017, 12:54:41 PM
The new mined bitcoins, the ones coming with every new block is getting halved after a certain increase in difficulty with time, to eventually starting to half from 50 BTC per block and decreasing every time, Therefore it will take many years and will never become 0 except after a million or so years.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: June 27, 2017, 12:50:30 PM
I would consider it to be sound money, money is in the end, something exchangeable for services and goods (which is the oldest and most basic classification). That is the case with bitcoin, which can be directly used through multiple platforms, it's not usable for everything yet, but it is still qualifies as money.
27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful.com Moderators stealing people Bitcoins Codedly, Scam and Fraud Site on: June 27, 2017, 12:45:12 PM
I've used both Localbitcoins (The older, more trustworthy and competent version) and Paxful, The outcome is 8/8 on disputes on LBC and 3/5, I always the clearly favorites side, but was new in Paxful against an older trader (That went scamming people), I have to say I'm shocked on the random way Paxful solves disputes at - waiting days for a reply of the other party and not 30 minutes for my reply-..
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: June 27, 2017, 12:42:27 PM
Fair or not fair, the point is the demand and request, currently with the increased frequency of transactions, the demand for inclusion in blocks is higher and for that, the needed fees is higher as everyone try to compete for a better spot.
it's expensive right now, particularly for any transactions less than $100 or more (which would be around $1.5 USD per Tx or so).
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2017, 12:38:26 PM
Currently, I intend and try to accumulate as much bitcoins as I can and afterwards keeping them till the price reaches prices that I consider sufficient to sell at (which probably won't be soon, so it will be long term holding).
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 27, 2017, 12:36:34 PM
I try to spread it through friendly and educative way, giving the person links, references to bitcoin and even few microbitcoins to encourage them to study and learn more about bitcoin rather than trying to push them to it, I think this is a more successful way.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 27, 2017, 12:32:21 PM
I doubt a government can shutdown the internet, particularly in the developed world were you can't do a single thing without a list of restrictions, laws and public attention, this isn't Castro Cuba or Syria, The internet won't be shutdown on whims, and asking "what if" is the same as asking about a Zombie or Alien invasion etc.. highly unlikely and next to impossible, a waste of time to consider.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 27, 2017, 12:27:13 PM
I've been working hard in promoting bitcoins before and spending significant effort trying to make people use it, I've seen plenty of good interest now and even few people asking me on their own initiative, which is something I never seen except in 2016 spike..
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real value of bitcoin etc ? Real cryptocurrencies buying vs forex speculation ? on: June 27, 2017, 12:23:14 PM
Comparing both of them is difficult IMO, Bitcoin currency system, although smaller than Forex, much more reliable and user based than Forex, in which a majority of brokers play against the user rather than an actual market.
BTC and altcoins are truly open markets for people, rather than the closed and suspicious Forex universe.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: June 27, 2017, 11:39:59 AM
If you are storing MORE than or even half of that (which is equal to 300k, allot of money by every countries standard), a paper or an offline hardware wallet is necessary, even better, a paper wallet generated through Armory and 3-4 copies of it (encrypted) are stored in multiple bank vaults.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to feel dumb and smart at the same time. on: June 27, 2017, 11:27:16 AM
I first found out about it in 2012 or 2013, not sure about the exact time but a bitcoin was worth $12 in MTGOX and the first time, I didn't stay long but came back at the $100 and left again, came back now at ~$3000 and feel I'm late but with still time left..

38  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂10 BILLIONTH BET PROMOTION ! on: May 29, 2017, 05:07:10 PM
I'm glad to see the level 5 requirement being added, that should limit the amount of people trying with two accounts or more and to have an additional Chane at winning,
BTW if the 10 billion bet isn't eligible the next eligible bet will win?
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 29, 2017, 04:55:16 PM
There are multiple factors and luck is one of them definitely, regarding how good your analysis, it's not guaranteed even a single time to win, at best your analysis can improve it by a point or two. Sportbook's spread is usually high too, so mostly they aren't in a loss.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 29, 2017, 04:06:45 PM
That would be excessive IMO, Although a casino should send using decent fees demanding remuneration is almost impossible to achieve, also calculating it would be another issue.. Technically the withdrawal is in the blockchain so their job is done.
A good solution however is to let the player set the fees himself "with a minimum of 0.0001", This way, the player can't complaint sine he/she is the one who decided the fees.
