Etherpad estas komuna tekstverkilo en la reto. Iam google aĉetis ĝin, sed nuntempe la kodo estas libera, kaj kelkaj retpaĝoj instalis ĝin. Mi malfermis dokumenton ĉe "http://piratenpad.de/bitcoin". Sed mi ankoraŭ ne tradukis ion. Eble mi havos pli da tempo poste.

Yeah, but turn it around such that it has "two horns". Like the pentagram.

Luke-Jr,

I like your latests stats (especially because my worker found a block). Is it possible to make this data available on your server, updated whenever the pool found a block?

Cheers!

@grondilo, ĉiu: Eble ni povus traduki la artikolon de satoŝi kune ĉe etherpad? Ĉu tiu interesus al vi?

Would it be possible to adapt eMansipaters work for the wikipedia entry about BitCoin? Probably there we have a big exposure to the public.

Thanks for all your work eMansipater. Someone should put your document on weusecoins.com too.

I have some more questions to add:

- Can Bitcoins be transferred to any country? What about China?
- Is Bitcoin a green technology or does it harm the environment more than necessary?
- I like Bitcoin. How can I help?
- What happens, when I don't run the Bitcoin client on my computer? Am I still be able to receive transactions?

Greetings, Danube

They charge 0.1 BTC for tranferring bitcoins from their wallet to yours.

I don't want to regulate the market. As far as I understand, would that draw you upwards in the diagram... The horizantal axis is the distribution of goods. Right: all to few, left: all to many.
Horizantol axis is the regulation via laws: Top: highly regulated, bottom: unregulated.

But doesn't that lead to monopoles and cartels? As we have it today e.g. with the central banks (not controlled by governments)?
IMHO already a P2P protocoll is something which no completely unregulated.

I wonder what makes you guys go to the bottom-right, and not to bottom-center.

Viel Erfolg beim minen.

And what makes Lojban superior to any other language besides noone speaks it Wink? Why not Klingon, Esperanto, Soresol or even Lingua Ignota?

I don't want to bash Lojban. It is very interesting by itself, but i don't see a reason what makes it special for our purpose here.

The benefit of Latin is, that a lot of people understand it and it is to some extend associated with old sigils and emblems - in the western World. Elsewhere my point is pointless. Therefore I proposed an iconographic language. But I don't see that Lojban is reasonably common anywhere in the world.

I don't think bitcoin tries to prove the Saphir-Whorf-hypothesis...
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "In cryptography we trust" (yet another Bitcoin icon) on: April 27, 2011, 04:49:21 PM
I think latin is much better than english. Who would wants to associate the Bitcoin with only the english-speaking world? Even tough latin may be associated with the holy guys in rome... Can't we use icons like there are on these space probes? ;-)

I think since it is called BITcoin, we should try to encode something in binary on the coin, no? Maybe like a barcode when 0 and 1 take too much space. And it can be in big- and little endian on the opposite sides :-)

Malsal' kaj karajn salutojn!
