22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides crypto, what would be the safest way to hold your money? on: October 28, 2017, 05:07:36 AM
I would suggest you look for something that creates non-stop income stream.

So far, most of us have been doing some savings and insurance only.

I would like to spend less than what I earn, but instead of limiting the spending I am constantly looking to expand the income limit.

I cannot say I got any such source, but it seems Direct selling has some potential. (Traditional businesses to have, but at present I could not afford to lose anything that I saved.)

If you have enough money, buying assets is good one. If you are buying a land or building, I would suggest to buy near a commercial area. Instead of just providing shelter for ourselves, it will also earn some money for us. (Not only us, it will last for generations to come.)
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 27, 2017, 09:18:22 AM
Though the chances are very far, if some other coin gets more popular and widely accepted, bitcoin may go down. But end? I don't think so.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any BTG wallet available ? on: October 27, 2017, 09:05:41 AM
is this website legit?
http://www.btgolds.org/
It is not even https. A wallet or exchange not secured means they don't have serious attitude, at least for me.

I doubt the legitimacy of that site.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning! on: October 26, 2017, 12:54:40 PM
It is better to keep it in exchanges. They may offer equal amount of both coins after split.

But during hard fork exchanges stop receiving or sending bitcoins for few hours. Even if some don't, it is better not to do any transactions around that time.
27  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: To mine or invest? on: October 26, 2017, 12:28:16 PM
Better to invest. Not in any cloud mining. Just buy as many bitcoins as you can (or as much fractions of it), besides collecting free coins from available sources whenever you find time.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 26, 2017, 08:02:16 AM
I think investing 100% is not at all necessary.

First start with your 30%, and after a period, put additional 20% if required. (To buy on dip. If necessary 10% more can be added.)

So, a total of 60% of your savings itself is a considerable risk. But, the returns may be higher.

Above all, it should not hurt you if anything goes wrong. That is the limit of investing.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you going to invest in now? on: October 26, 2017, 06:24:17 AM
my opinion any body should take a look doge, now 18 satoshi for each doge hold them until next july may be will more.
thats my investment.
But in many forums people tell it is a joke.

I have also thought of buying Doge, but after seeing those posts I changed my mind.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when Bitcoin reaches its Max Supply? on: October 26, 2017, 05:21:10 AM
My guess is, the transaction fees will rise, even if it could have been low. Considering the same amount of bitcoin in circulation, a nominal fee would be good. It will encourage more transactions and more fee. Rather if they get greedy and hike the fee, their income will be the same, but as time goes the number of people using it may go down. In any industry the number of users is very important and keeping them in is very much essential.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is bubble? on: October 26, 2017, 04:50:26 AM
I believe ultimately it is in the hands of Sellers / Merchants. (and the fees to some extent too.)

If people find bitcoin transactions easy and has less fee, both merchants and customers will tend to use it.

Rather if they find an alternate way to make transactions, bitcoin or any cryptocurrency may end up like a bubble.

In the current trend, it seems like more people are likely to accept bitcoin. So, at least bitcoin only might escape, if any crash happens.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kids Bitcoin Stolen on: October 23, 2017, 09:34:39 AM
Probably someone who has access to your PC (or email, because if accessed from other device an email is received to authorize the transaction) should have done it.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 23, 2017, 09:06:50 AM
It seems there are lot of altcoins. It is really hard to predict anything. (Recently I picked one Adzcoin. It seemed to grow well, but suddenly started dropping and still struggling to get up.)

At one stage I thought that I made a good investment, but now I am little embarrassed.

Meanwhile, it is said our Government body, is thinking of it's own cryptocurrency. If it happens, that might be my next choice. Until then, I just hold on to what I have.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Cash will NEVER be bitcoin on: October 21, 2017, 09:43:42 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin itself is still a speculative currency. Only if more sellers, both online and offline, start accepting bitcoin (or any cryptocurrency), then only it will have some value. Otherwise, it is more likely that people tend to use printed currency.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 21, 2017, 09:18:01 AM
Since it has no controlling body, many countries may fear that it would involve some illegal transactions, even by terrorists. So, though "complete ban" may not be there, many countries may impose some regulations. May be the exchange services would demand ID proof or some SSN or tax number, something like that.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bitcoins have been mined. on: October 16, 2017, 01:23:20 PM

This is mostly because Bitcoin gained a lot of traction when it surpassed the $1000 mark a few years ago. At that time, it saw a growth of over 80% new users and obviously a good amount of them would've started mining. As we move ahead, keep in mind that the block reward will keep decreasing exponentially as more and more BTC is mined. With more users mining, it could reach 85-90% of total supply in a few years from now and the last 10% would probably take a decade or two.
A decade or two? Whoa... Might be due to many miners would have quit mining by that time.
