21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin difficult to understand? on: June 22, 2018, 06:40:28 AM
bitcoin difficult to understand because the bitcoin coin is first digital currency and most probably human not understand .and if you really want to know so go on youtube ....there have more videos of bitcoin.
yes, very difficult to understand. even if we repeatedly see the video on youtube, maybe understand but not really understand it. and for me the most important is when we benefit from it and understand how to get it.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: June 21, 2018, 05:22:51 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.
that's good news. this indicates early bitcoin future will be better. which makes everyone believe that bitcoin is good and reliable.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop: Is this the Best Time to Buy? on: June 21, 2018, 11:59:29 AM
By 2 PM (EST) on June 11, 2018, Bitcoin had dropped almost $1,000 from its price, trading at $6,700. BTC is now trading at its lowest value since the middle of March 2018. One of the most significant questions remains what to do next – join the selloff brigade, hodl, or buy more Bitcoins?

Details:

I noticed from the now low-value charts but still moving, so I think we should continue to buy to do daily trading and investment. because it remains profitable.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2018, 10:57:06 AM
Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
I think by collecting every wallet and registered account can predict the number of each user, even if it does not really match. because everyone can generate some wallets and accounts.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin on: June 21, 2018, 10:46:35 AM
Things you should know before investing in bitcoin

What everyone wants is to have a stable job and get good savings, the best option is to work the money to get more income for the future and thus have a better quality of life and what better to invest in bitcoin but before you should know certain things about This cryptocurrency.

it is not regulated: there is no entity that regulates and monitors this type of investment. So you should be aware that if you lose your money, nobody will answer

Bitcoin is a high-risk investment: people should know that the level of risk is very high, due to volatility and inability to predict its price. "

Do not get into debt to buy cryptocurrencies: this really should not be done with this or with another investment, if you are going to work your money with extra money you got.

Do not invest more than you are willing to lose: "it is recommended that you do not invest your savings in this currency; on the contrary, invest 1% of your assets, something that you are really willing to lose".

Use reliable pages: use safe sites to navigate and also only use reliable devices such as your cell phone, your computer and your home's wireless network. Never use public networks neither to make investments nor for any type of financial consultation.

yes, that's all we need to know and do before investing in crypto, to avoid panic when value decreases and we can restrain it calmly.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin. Should I mine or buy coin with my $6000 on: June 21, 2018, 10:25:02 AM
Hi Everyone,

I'm new to cryptocurrencies and would like to know your opinion on what best to do with my $6000.

I was initially planning on purchasing a GPU mining rig with gtx 1070s but then upon further research found that 1070s can only do 600-700 sol/s

Then I found the asicminer equihash which can do 40,000 sol/s and costs $14,800 which will be released on July along with new nvidia generation cards.

I know its a bit late now to start but I am really thinking hard on this but I need opinions from veteran guys.

tl:dr;

1. Should I buy bitcoin with my $6000 or
2. Use it to buy a 1070 GPU mining rig or
3. Wait until July for new nvidia graphics card to come out (or the asicminer equihash).

Thanks so much for all your feedback.

*Edit: Would like to inform everyone that electricity costs would not be a problem as I have a way to manage it. Considering that electricity cost is not an issue, is mining going to be profitable for me right away?
I think mining or investment is good enough for those of you who have a way of overcoming electrical problems. It's just that for me the price and the treatment is still high. so what if I have it, I will choose to buy bitcoin to invest in the long term.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where does bitcoin end up this year on: June 20, 2018, 05:48:31 AM
Bitcoin is starting to climb up again. Where do you think think does it end up by the end of the quarter or eventually by the end of 2018.
many predict the bitcoin value by the end of 2018 to reach $ 25,000, but I think it's too soon. bitcoin will definitely rise again but the achievement of the final value is unpredictable. all that is delivered is just hope in my opinion.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade or HODL? on: June 18, 2018, 04:42:01 PM
Hi guys, I have a couple of alts in my wallet right now and I want to gain profit.

I want to earn a profit while waiting for a better market value. Should I enter trading(where I don't have an idea on how to and where to start) or should I stick on HODLing my coins?

Looking at the market movement, is it a good time to start trading?

Is it risky or not an ideal move if I start to study trading using some of my holdings/alts?

I am eager to learn how to do trading(short-term or day-trading).

Any thoughts? TIA
Daily trading is very risky if we do not have the ability in that field, especially today when the situation is less supportive for daily trading. so it's good to learn first and choose which coins you will trade, then you can try with a small capital to get started. the better you hold everything you have.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your recommended crypto allocation? on: June 18, 2018, 04:01:07 PM
Hi all,
the recent bloodbath pushed me to start investing in the crypto market. My current position is approx. 33% BTC/ETH/EOS. What would be your recommendation for a balanced crypto portfolio for the next 6-12 months?
Thanks!
pretty much altcoin has potential and indeed for these three coins is the best, I think you do not need to change anything right now, even if you still have more money, you can add an investment here.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: June 18, 2018, 05:56:40 AM
Are Airdrops and Bounties really leading to a successful coin? There are so many out there this time.
Or are they mostly shitcoins, disappear or using your emails for phishing?
Have you ever participate to one with high profit? How long was wait for that?
I think most of them are just bullshit and time wasting and not worth putting some effort in.
I think only a few drops of air and the bounty will work. but many also become successful. but I personally never participated with them. maybe I'm too afraid to take risks, because as you say a lot of them are just nonsense and just wasting time. because I prefer what is really profitable and sure.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everybody knows about Bitcoin. We won’t see 20k again. Why? Here! on: June 18, 2018, 05:43:30 AM
Why do we keep pretending we know where Bitcoin's going to be in the future?

Why do we keep saying we'll see ATHs, or that we'll never rise again... without even the barest of minimum supporting pieces of evidence shown?
I think this is not a pretense, what they say is their own expectations and confidence that we should invest as investors. it really does not mean much, high or low in value, the most important change in selling points that gives us a chance to make a profit.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: who else has the feeling that bitcoin will keep going down? on: June 18, 2018, 05:21:55 AM
who else has the feeling that bitcoin will keep going down?
I am not against bitcoin nor do I want to spread FUD but every day I am with the feeling that bitcoin will continue to lower its price. In spite of that, I still keep my cryptocurrencies.
I think this last bit of bitcoin value is decreasing, bitcoin will rise then down again but not pass the low value current. then the bitcoin value will rise higher.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be able to exceed its highest price in this year ? on: June 17, 2018, 05:21:43 PM

Everything can happen, nothing is impossible. For this one, I think it is very difficult to realize if bitcoin will rise above the highest price ever happened. It is too much if bitcoin prices can rise that high.
yes that's right, the word impossible becomes non-existent in the crypto world, as rising and falling prices become unpredictable. and no words are too high in my opinion, this is still possible.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen in august ? on: June 17, 2018, 05:08:02 PM
Hello, what do you think will happen in august ? Now is it a good time time to buy, I have some altcoin like exrnchain, eos, litecoin I think this will boom in august, what do you think ?
yes the value of all crypto coins now has a very long decline. by buying and collecting coins as much as possible, this will generate huge profits. but I do not think it's fast, it still takes time to get bigger profits.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: No change in bitcoin price for 24 hours on: June 17, 2018, 05:01:10 PM
Today Bitcoin fell from $7500 to $6,700 and the price has not changed in the past 24 hours. It is at $6750 all the time.

Did something go very wrong with Bitcoin ?? -12% fall in one hour and then no trading till now..
do not worry too much about this. bitcoin values are much lower before, but in some time bitcoin values can be very high. this is great, we can make a profit and take a break to trade every day by storing bitcoin in the next few months till its value is high again.
Good idea, the important thing is we keep exploiting the situation. value movements are now less supportive for daily trading. Long-term investment is good enough, it's a lucrative holiday.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below $10,000 on: June 16, 2018, 09:53:31 AM
For some couple of days now, the price of bitcoin has been between 10k - 11k (which i actually thought would take a support at the said range).
Knowing now that it has gone below, what is your take on the current situation.

I think the decline is still going to happen, but even so, now it's enough to buy and hold it for the next few months. but if for daily trading I think we can wait longer to buy.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below 8000 time to buy now on: June 16, 2018, 09:37:44 AM
Bitcoin is very low today even 7700 buck...do you think is good time to buy now or will more lower and crash to 3000 buck...very difficult to predict...what do you think... Who t f is selling on this price.....?....
I just believe that bitcoin will not go down to 3000 dollars. I'm sure prices will rise again after this. and of course now is a good time to buy more bitcoins. and just a frantic beginner who will sell at current prices. but I think they've learned enough of the scale in the past.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit cryptocurrency trading its not for you! on: June 16, 2018, 09:30:55 AM
The reason why there has been a serious insurge of people into cryptocurrency mostly populated by newbies and novices is because someone somewhere told them they can make 100% to 500% in crypto within few days, lol but how many really had such experience.
The worst still is that some don't even think learning is necessary in the crypto market, and so they just invest their money in crypto and manage to know how to open and close a trade, and as soon as any candlestick chart turns red they dash their coins into the market in fear to cut off more loss and the cycle continues till nothing is left.

If you are doing this at the moment just quit crypto trading its not for you.
I think trading for all circles. what to do here is self-improvement and re-learning. Losing trades then leaving it is a desperate behavior. it is very sad and only a protracted regret.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: June 16, 2018, 09:13:33 AM
Hi,
Let's suppose that Bitcoin became adopted everywhere such as paying bills with Bitcoin, getting salary with Bitcoin, shopping, restaurant etc...
How your country gonna survive if you only use Bitcoin in a daily basis? I mean a country cannot survive if individuals doesn't pay taxes, well with Bitcoin you don't pay any tax right?
How this gonna be possible? Please shed for me some light on this.
Thanks

the state's economy depends not only on the income tax of everyone. there are many more that can be used. so not so influential on him. but the government will not let it go, and I think the government will make arrangements with the crypto currency especially bitcoin.
but I think that is enough to affect if all residents do not pay taxes, because the population in one country is not small. and it is true that the government will make system arrangements for its handling, so that its economy will remain stable.
