23  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working on: July 28, 2017, 03:21:30 AM
~snip~
If they did recommend or somehow advertise bitmixer then probably this would be the cause of such immediate closure of this mixing service. I was little bit shocked that this site decided to close its doors to early saying that its just their own personal reasons but well we dont know whats actually the truth thing behind this but after reading this i can say that theres a possibility or links regarding on this situation. Better to stop early before government will caught you.
Even if AlphaBay did not explicitly advertise bitmixer, the US government is getting more aggressive in prosecuting operators of DNMs as AlphaBay's admin was neither a citizen, a resident, nor had any ties to the US, but was charged in the US anyway (because AlphaBay sold illegal products to people in the US).

Wikileaks recently disclosed a large number of zero-day exploits that had been hoarded by the CIA (despite their pledge to do disclose such exploits), that apparently have since been stolen (as per news reports). At the time of disclosure, the zero-day exploits had the potential to do a lot of damage, and could be executed under circumstances that many people believed would be safe/secure.

There are also rumors that the US was able to use malware to botch the launch of a North Korean missile test earlier this year. The fact that the North Korean misses are (almost certainly) 'air gapped' computers, that NK has no (meaningful) internet access, and that it would be nearly impossible for the US to have physical access to any component of a NK missile many months (or even years) ahead of time, means that, if true, the US government's ability to insert malware into computers is very strong.

Based on both of the above, bitmixer's operator(s) likely does not have confidence in their ability to keep their servers secret and protected from the US government.

No cables required..

I had mining nicehash on my computer with 1 GTX1080 $2 is bad for me. I want to know how i can mine altcoins with the nicehash program?

I dont know how to put codes. Is there a clear step by step tutorial on how to use nicehash? I want to mine bytecoin by the way.

Nice hash is very simple to setup. Download and follow the steps.  Benchmark your equipment.  Pop in your address in the GUI.

Job done!

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-e.com down ! Police detains the owner . on: July 27, 2017, 11:47:53 PM
Saw this coming a mile off!

Honestly is buying drugs online the "fairly tale" that people think?  We still got mobs and gangsters controlling it.. running shady exchanges to "launder" the money when it goes belly up. who loses out?  again.. the bitcoin user....

Ill write this now and relate to it when it happens..

over the next months we will no doubt see many more exchanges. trading platforms that are well known and hold a lot of funds shut down. be shut down / raided,  shut down and claim hack then vanish!

There more that one or two exchanges I think are running the same kind of operation...

Be warned.. don't leave money out in the open.. Its the wild west again...

I dont understand how you are compensation people who are supporting with their hash power?

Tokens are issued to users for hashing power.  The tokens allow the user to then claim there stake in the profits generated from the sale of electricity back to the grid or claim income from the mining operation.
Each token value will determine the % value a token holder can claim back.

As shown on the table the general average income for 1 3MW turbine is around £250k - 400k GBP Per year.  assuming all the power is donated to the national grid.

Each stage of investment allows users to invest in a project that has dual income potential and not only this but has a real world impact to the environment in the process.

The tokens work like bonds, You own X=amount E-3 Tokens.

Example
User holds 200,000 E3 Tokens - We take the tokens and divide the amount of tokens by the mine income example below is  the mine earned 3.5000 BTC that give us the figure of. 57142.85714285714.  We take that number and divide it by the average wind speed for that year 7.0 MP/s with gives us 8163.265306122449 we then again divide that value by the amount of tokens held by the user which is 200,000 which give you 0.04081632 which is the monthly % you will receive of the income.

200,000 / MineIncome = Month - X=3.50000 BTC  /AverageYearWindspeed=7.0MPS / TokensHeld- 200,000 = 0.04081632%

So the mine income was 3.5000 BTC @ today's price - 3.5000 BTC = £6100
The electrical income for that month would be on average £23,750

We take the total income from the mine & electrical power generation add them together then take your % figure of  0.04081632 %  of the total income £29850 = £12.18

Not to forget the tokens are 25 Year tokens that is 300 months! this example user would earn in there contract lifetime of 25 years at today's rates £3654.

Further to this expansions of the project will be steady over the course of the years ahead allowing for potentially much higher earnings for holders that stated above in the example,

For the income shown above a user would of supplied 300 TH for 1 week hashing power to our pool,  at today's rates of mining they would of mined approximately  $1,662.55 or Ƀ 0.6563 so the initial funding part of the project from miners should be quite clear they would be holding tokens that can guarantee then income from not only mining but electrical power. guaranteeing income for the next 25 Years!

There are a limited amount of tokens that will be issued over the funding periods.

As the video below shows there is massive investment into this sector at the moment with the planets ever greater need for power and as bitcoin users and miners we feel we should be seen to be making effort to clean up the industry we have created.  We spend 1000's of hours debating code changes and block sizes, segwit,  But where is the talking about the environmental impact this is having?  or even how can we possibly change it..

Bitcoin has changed the world of finance, But its next job is to create a fully sustainable, renewable mining operation that can secure the network while not draining mother natures resources in the process.

I thought the scary time in bitcoin was over but to be honest.. I was wrong Smiley
Indeed everyone's celebrating the safe landing of segwit without a blockchain split but that was never going to be the worrisome part of segwit2x, it's the 2x part Sad

I sat up and watched the block roll in on tradeblock and watched the price rise I thought it was going to hit all time highs so did about 10,000 other people on youtube celebrating on a live stream.

I thought, Hmm,, wonder if they think 2x willl as smooth let alone even understand it.
32  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BLOCK] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo segwit mining USA/DE 234 blocks solved! on: July 24, 2017, 11:03:58 PM
Possibly to try combat it in future is one reason I think that its got support because no one wants to go through all that carry on again. But I do see now why mess when with something that's not technically broken!
For the reference I have no problem with a 2MB base block size increase. I have a huge problem with a rushed hard fork without core's support which is the one thing most likely to lead to a split in bitcoin since its inception. November 1 is not far away and I see no reconciliation in sight.

Firmly agree with you on that about the rushing point with the market cap bitcoin has now that's a lot of risk to be rushing changes into a system without its outcomes being fully understood or even challenged.

I thought the scary time in bitcoin was over but to be honest.. I was wrong Smiley

Interestingly enough the block wasn't even full because the pool's bitcoind memory pool was almost completely empty after that block because it was so close to the one before it. Makes one wonder about what the urgency is for 2 capacity increases in the blockchain now that the transaction spam has ended...

Possibly to try combat it in future is one reason I think that its got support because no one wants to go through all that carry on again. But I do see now why mess when with something that's not technically broken!

38  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Fingerprint log in on: July 19, 2017, 11:58:37 PM
You can do this with most iOS or Android online wallets like Copay or Blockchain. However no cold storage option that way.
I am thinking deeply how they can scan your finger print the touch screen it can only receive touch but it can't scan any fingerprints almost all fingerprint apps in playstore are actually all are fake no good fingerprint app that actually it can scan your fingerprints.
Well backuping seeds for is still be good i still never had any problem to my electrum wallet and local bitcoin wallet which is coins.ph.. with google authenticator..  its much safier i can't even login even i recovering it in gmail.

You could possibly rig up this to a raspberry Pi and code something that could do the job for you?

Not a expert in this field but a quick github search found this.. for Arduino
