21  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CMPH - CryptoMiners Philippines Official Thread on: November 18, 2017, 05:03:42 AM
Matanong ko lang, magkano ba ang cost ng kuryente in USD ($/kWh) na ininput nyo sa mga mining calculators tulad ng sa Coinwarz and WhatToMine?

Profitable ba sa cost ng kuryente sa pinas?

Thanks!
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From 0.1 to 1 BTC in 6 months with Day-Trading on: November 17, 2017, 05:00:40 AM
This is very interesting, I'll put this thread on my watchlist.

I've been thinking of this similar scenario a few months back but I just don't have the time to do it.

Best of luck dude.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Penis token (PNS) on: November 17, 2017, 01:08:44 AM
This is a joke right?

Oh well, some people really have a lot of time in the world to create this Tongue
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 01:15:33 AM
With all these in mind, I think we Filipinos who are into Bitcoin now should spread awareness and advocate on the advantages of Bitcoin.

Better to have your friends and/or families who have businesses to take into consideration of accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment.

In this way I believe, more and more Filipino will be made aware of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies thus making the mass adoption faster.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitConnect is a SCAM? on: November 14, 2017, 08:50:57 PM
Better be safe than sorry.

But if you really want to try to invest on BCC, just make sure you'll put in an amount that you'll be comfortable to let go.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH ever rise in price like Dash and Bitcoin Cash? on: November 14, 2017, 07:07:33 AM
I think you just need to give it more time for ETH to moon. But ETH did really good if you'll consider it's price of $8.07 on January 1, 2017.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 06:58:36 AM
The thread is mostly 1 year old. Does that actually happen? And what it actually mean? Is there any legal businesses in Phillipine that accept Bitcoin?

The recognition of the Central Bank of the Philippines was actually for the likes of Coins.ph and a few Bitcoin exchanges in the Philippines. There's also a Bitcoin ATM in Makati City but no small businesses yet such as coffee houses, computer shops, etc that I know that accepts Bitcoin.

But I think give it a few more months or years, Bitcoin will slowly be adopted by businesses. I know for the fact since I myself and a few other friends will be putting up a businesses that will accept Bitcoin soon.

I'm not really sure why Globe and Smart are now into the cashless payment race but didn't even include Bitcoin options in their respective wallets (Gcash, PayMaya & Smart Money).

These will never happen. It is due to the volatility of the price. The heads of these businesses are old school. They prefer fiat or precious metals in their investment portfolio. Perhaps, when young bloods take over, those who really understand how crypto currencies work, then we will see this happen.

Yes, I think I might agree with you on this. Until cryptocurrency will go mainstream and/or the new generation of business leaders will take over, these big telcos won't really implement them on their systems.
29  Local / Pamilihan / Re: USI-TECH Philippines,legit po ba? on: November 13, 2017, 08:03:05 PM
USI-TECH is definitely a scam.

Di pa ba kayo natuto sa tulad nung Aman Futures scam? It's all about creative ways of doing a Ponzi Scheme.

Sa mga di nakakaalam tungkol sa Aman Futures scam, please read their Wiki at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aman_Futures_Group

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'M GETTING REALLY ANGRY! WTF is happening with this BTC/BCH crap! on: November 12, 2017, 07:21:43 AM
I was away for just a day and this happens.

Anyway, keep HODLING everyone as this may just be a passing and clearly manipulated by the big players out there.

BTC is King!
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL BTC!!! on: November 10, 2017, 10:41:22 PM
I agree. Just HODL!

BCH might be bullish now but I bet it won't last long. Volume is also high for the last 2 hours but the chart right now is trending downwards. Smiley
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin undergoing a correction? on: November 10, 2017, 10:38:29 PM
Yeah this correction might be a good time to buy as I believe the price will shoot past 7K again very soon.

https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc

give you some idea of today's rate estimated earning

I haven't tried this yet, but can anyone please tell me the +/- percentage difference you can expect from the actual profit numbers compared to Nicehash's numbers?

Thanks.

It all depends on the market.  These are current estimates, but earnings could go up or down.  I think it gives you a good ballpark figure though to at least know what hardware currently makes the most money. The numbers change but I'm guessing the devices in that list don't fluctuate a whole lot.

Thank you for the insight. I'll make this as my basis to pick the right GPU to use for my mining rig.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin Gold (BTG) Failed...???? on: November 09, 2017, 09:23:16 PM
I think you can get more information everything about Bitcoin Gold on their official website at https://bitcoingold.org

You can also follow all their social media channels to be updated of the latest news and developments.

From what I've heard, mining BTG will go live anytime this week or next week. Not so sure though since I don't really follow them. Perhaps someone else can confirm this.

Oh this is what I found from their FAQ

How do I mine Bitcoin Gold?
You can solo mine BTG using the full node client or you can mine with a pool. Some public mining pools that have worked with us are listed on our home page. We invite you to join our Slack #mining channel for technical help and advice about mining BTG.

Will mark my calendar for the ICO.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining with Gaming/Mining Rig on: November 08, 2017, 12:34:34 AM

If you are not into faster ROI, go with 1080TI's it has a decent profit.

you could also check profitability

http://whattomine.com/

Thanks for the advise. Will check WhatToMine. Smiley
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GPU Mining with Gaming/Mining Rig on: November 08, 2017, 12:00:32 AM
I just wanted to get your thoughts on mining altcoins with a gaming/mining rig. I won't be doing hardcore mining with it, but I just want an option to mine some coins if the machine is idle or not being used for gaming.

So which among the two GPU cards with be more profitable?

Option 1: Dual AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB
Option 2: Single GTX 1080 Ti 11GB

Thanks.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stratis Is About To Fly? on: November 07, 2017, 11:41:43 PM
I also believe on the potential of the Stratis platform as I am a holder myself.

But I think the people are having less talk and less focus on Stratis nowadays.

I'm not sure if this is about the marketing of Stratis not doing enough buzz or is it because of the attention is given on Bitcoin for the upcoming fork?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grid+ What is it on: November 07, 2017, 09:17:11 PM
I too is interested in this project but I can't seem to notice that not everyone seems to like to discuss about it.

I would have expected this to be the talk of the crypto world since this project is by Consensys.
