I hold 21,000 XEL due to some very generous community members...and I received one small bounty from Lannister back in October...I don't feel I owe the investors of this project anything.

People are dreaming for Golem prices, even at start it was 1000-1500 sats per golem (in January under 1k), I believe XEL would be even lower at start, so I will wait for exchanges. just read the comparison between elastic and golem and you will know why everyone is demanding those prices. Even with a starting price of 1$=1 XEL there is a lot room to grow in regards to the "competitor" I'm not here to argue about project (I believe in XEL), but most who buy don't care about what project can/will/do. Also I have a feeling that some XEL owners will wish to dump coins to get back a part of their investments, weak hands, you should not sub-estimate them  I do not believe that 100% of XEL donors are still 100% attached to project after what happened at beginning, good that rest developers didn't quit the project. Also this topic is about price speculations, not about what XEL,Golem or SONM are able to do, who have more potential, etc. Golem have PR, money and market behind, XEL have only believers and devoted Developers. I wish the best to project, but I also wish some low prices at start, so more people could join and drive market future. I have one question, what is the difference between Elastic and Sonm? Since they both of them are projects that aim to give a decentralized super computer network?

SONM is a paper-project at the moment, while Elastic have already own PL (programming language) and real use case demonstration, my 2 xels. I heard SONM released some Alpha version and some dude in France ran Quake on it or something. Check their twitter account. And I think we are seeing a lot of competition building on this space from Golem, iExec RLC and all. It is exciting to see who is going to take the lead. And Golem had some rendering example on Testnet, thx about hint, will try to find it. |

And which one is better now? PR or devoted developers? I vote for devoted developers with both hands!!! But when come to price speculations who you think will win, at least in short term I mean, don't get me wrong I am supporting XEL with what I can, my MainNet node is up and working, used to host testnet too. |

it doesn't give any proper information. Oh well i just keep this project in sight looks interesting and has potential. But it looks like the devs are some unknowns, would like to hear what the expected market cap will be during release.
There will be no MarketCap during release until we reach any exchanges, that may not be available right after release. Total coins supply 100 Millions, at 1000 sats that would be 1000 BTC (as example) after count yourself, I don't think anyone know what the price will be at the moment, market will decide later. |
