21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: July 12, 2020, 11:50:12 AM
You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'
Join link???

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it
Well this was happen often on different social media platform, specially they do pm randomly and they didn't know that some people have enough knowledge on cryptocurrency and sometimes all that pm was a scam or has a virus on the link so beware on clicking some site or else all your details would be gather.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2020, 11:44:47 AM
I have been thinking if cryptocurrency projects should come back as it was in the early 2016 to 2017 as many of us came into cryptocurrency industry the time it has been made visible to many people, because that early 2016 a lot of people don't really have the knowledge and how it works that time, what do you think that will happen if those days should come back in the crypto phase?
We are all want the comeback of cryptocurrency but we cannot tell what will happen on the next years so we are positively waiting on it and we are all know that the cryptocurrency is always do sky rocket on not expected day or month just always trust the process.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50% increase in Doge coin price in just 24 hours! on: July 11, 2020, 11:37:03 PM
This is what we call power of social media but it is not meant to use this way. Firstly, it's wrong to give financial advice without a disclaimer which I'm sure he didn't tell his followers. Crypto is very volatile and some followers might have high hopes thinking that's how things work here.
I think he's loading off his bags by asking them to buy. I don't even see doge touching 1$ anytime soon.
Agree with that social media now has a big impact on our  life or society they can manupulate whatever they want even it was fake news they will hype it as long as they can have huge amount of profit they doesn't care on people that invest on it also if the value drop down they don't care they already exited.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 11, 2020, 11:29:47 PM
I don't know if some newbies are still doing this today, if you are you'd better stop right now. Many new coins can be easily mined through a single CPU or GPU but 90% of them are trash coins, you need to understand how important use cases are.

In the old days, three to four years back I was so obsessed with new coins simply because they are easy to acquire, mining them is easy and difficulty are low, this got me blind so I started mining coins without getting into good research first, I ended up with coins like

1. MarketCash
2. NiobioCash
3. Worktips
4. Spotme
5. Gadcoin

And so on.....
These coins are all dead or useless right now, few are trading back then but I was too dump to sell and buy better coins.

Today I asked myself why did I do that back then, I guess it's because I never knew the difference of high quality projects and why some coins make it to top 100, If you are reading this make this your targets

The importance of real use case

Well in newbies they are always think is how much they can get on the profit and they will calculated it and they will hype their self on it which is not a good idea, sometimes they will be hype by their friends because of the profit return but they didn't realize if it is true or not, being a newbie is very hard but after newbie and you learn some it was a good experience.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 11:22:26 PM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
There was always a risk on investing on any coin or token it was for you to decide but please do deep research on the project first before putting any investment or else it will turn to scam or no profit at all, this is the best weapon you will have a research so that you will be having a profit.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 11, 2020, 11:03:45 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?
Well even if the exchange was alive still it has no value don't invest on a coin or altcoin that you didn't take a time to make a research or else your investment would be wasted, well I feel you when you say that you don't trust exchange, but sometimes you need to sell it when it has a value rather done nothing in return.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 5 cryptocurrency exchanges where you can stake cryptos & earn rewards on: July 10, 2020, 11:50:50 PM
Staking cryptocurrencies have grown to become widely popular amongst cryptocurrency holders.

This allows us to stake our cryptocurrencies in dedicated wallets and start earning interest.

I will share a list of some of my personal favourite cryptocurrency exchanges where users like you and me can start staking our cryptocurrencies and start earning rewards.

5 cryptocurrency exchanges with staking enabled
What is great with these cryptocurrency exchanges is that not only is it very easy to get started with staking, you can also stop staking at any time.

I have only listed services with this feature available. So that you don’t need to lock your funds away for a long period of time*.

Now this might be a hot topic - should I ever leave my funds on an exchange, and I think this is something you need to think about not only once but twice before committing to. Now these 5 are perhaps fairly secure, but there are risks to this. So that you know!

https://gocryptowise.com/blog/cryptocurrency-exchanges-with-staking/

I hope it is useful! :=)
Thanks for sharing this it was a big help if they want to know where they can stake their coin. But there was a risk on it we are all know that even top exchange got hack so you must put security on it to lessen it and don't ever leave your funds on an exchange always monitor it so you will see if you have the funds or not.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: July 06, 2020, 10:54:00 PM
Ethereum SCAM?

Quote
NOW EXIST 92,000,000 ETH COINS:
https://etherscan.io/chart/ethersupplygrowth
MINING WAS OPEN IN 2015:
https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate
BUT IN THIS MOMENT WAS ALREADY EXIST 70,000,000 COINS = 14,000,000,000 $
SO FOUNDER HAVE 77% COINS
BITCOIN FOUNDER HAVE NOT MORE THAN 11% COINS
FOR Ethereum FOUNDER % BECOME 11% NEED 50 YEARS MORE
poloniex FULL STACK OF ETH/BTC AND ETH/USD - 32,400,000$
https://etherscan.io/chart/ethersupply
DAILY NEW COUNS - 30,000 ETH * 330$ = 9,900,000$ - IT WILL GROWUP WITH PRICE
https://blockchain.info/stats
1,650 BTC PER DAY - 5,840,127$
95% OF EARTH'S POPULATION CANNOT THINK BY YOURSELF AND DO SAME LIKE NEARHOODS

Well for me it was not true and we are all know also that ethereum was not scam, even if he is the founder and developer of the coin so what? So what if he has the huge portion of the coin he can have it because it was his coin he was the owner of it, he is not pleasing you to invest on his project it was choice not him.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 06, 2020, 10:49:28 PM
Well referring on the topic on "what happens to the altcoins if bitcoin drops strong" some alts are not following the trend of the bitcoin they are remain on the price or the price of it is pumping but some altcoin that is relaying on bitcoin are dropping so hard too but don't worry we are all know that for every drop of the coin it can pump again just have a little patience on it.

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM on: July 05, 2020, 10:33:17 PM
Hi, guys, I want to ask how do I avoid ICO scams...

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?

For now ICO was not good at all and it should be avoided because some people used ICO to scam some investor which is not a good idea, you must join now IEO on the top exchange and don't join on the exchange that has a fake volume or else your funds would be lose.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you wish you could do the most with your Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2020, 11:46:25 PM

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: July 04, 2020, 11:39:11 PM
Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

Play safe and be willing to learn
Based on my understanding not all in the top of crypto are safe it can be change if they failed their project if they want to invest they must study and learn from the basic, not just basing on the top they must know the project well and don't go with the hype or else the newbies money will be nothing.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: July 04, 2020, 11:35:26 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
Well it was often happening as always before they distribute the coin the value of it was dropping so hard so I guess that is the reason why you said that we are rich on the spreadsheet because you compute your bounty token on the value of it on ICO so now it was turn to disappointment.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 04, 2020, 11:28:54 PM
Hi , I have never invested for a project , i need to invest for a project and i have an idea to invest on this project - https://curioinvest.com/car/4
But i need your opinions about this project ? Is it a Scam project ?
Will it be Profitable for me ?

First of all do you make research on that project? If not take a look on that project and if I we're you I'm going to invest on the coin that was legit and not just on hype because when the hype was gone then the coin will be nothing and no value be wise on investment.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading competition, a plus or minus on: July 03, 2020, 11:03:33 PM
I am not creating this post to engage in argument but to voice my opinion. To some some people, trading competition is a good strategy to increase the prices of coins, at first it may appeared so but in the end, trust me, it is the surest path to crash. Every single person in trading competition is there to make profit, no one is ready to lose,  everyone is waiting to pull out at the slightest opportunity either to make profit or to stop loss. Now you know why the price of such coin will go down below normal. It might also interest those participating in trading competition to know that it might also be a way to dump on you. No one is saying you shouldn't take part in trading competition but be smart. Everything that appeared to have advantages have also got disadvantages. I asked if is a plus or minus, I guess you know the answer by now.
In my opinion trading competition is used to get more traders to participate and to get more volume so some investor would notice that coin, aside from that trading competition is just pump and dump of the coin to create more volume they didn't care about the price as long as they have volume.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: July 03, 2020, 10:58:55 PM
Hello, I am new to blockchain and I stumbled on how successful Binance IEO is and the recent IEO conducted there, I witnessed how the coin price spiked after IEO. So i discovered that Latoken is about conducting an IEO. Is it a wise decision to invest?
If you are going to invest on IEO make sure you will choose the good exchange not a bad exchange that has fake volume, I advice it was better on binance than in a latoken, in binance it gives you the good profit in return while in latoken there was a high price but there is no value so before outting your money into investment make sure that you have enough knowledge on it.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For airdroppers who can hardly relate on: July 02, 2020, 11:52:03 PM
I was relate on this when I was an airdroper always had no value in return even if they have huge amount of fund that they raised they are going to say that their ICO was not successful and they will not return the investment of every person who invested on their project they easily run.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 26, 2020, 11:29:33 PM
Many people are saying that binance ranked was manipulated because they now acquired coinmarketcap, they are now rated 1st on coinmarketcap but the truth is binance exchange deserves to be ranked first, what's your take on this??

1. Binance exchange cares about their reputation
2. They offer the best customer supports
3. The exchange have high Liquidity and volumes
4. IEO don't fail on this exchange because the team do their own research on projects before listing
5. For many it's always about the money but for binance its about money, reputation and their customers

They have every right to keep making money if that's why many are mad with binance, as far as they are satisfying customer whatever they make shouldn't be your problem
I agree with this and beside binance bringing the new idea to help for adoption in modern society, and they are continue on developing their platform and never stop so I suggest binance must be the number 1 exchange but there's a lot of manipulator specially in volume of some exchange so they are on top.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan or Ethplorer on: June 26, 2020, 11:21:02 PM
I'm using Ethplorer to check my wallets and track my tokens if the token I waited coming from bounties have finally arrive in my wallets, I have so many shit tokens in my wallet that are sitting in my wallets for years but I notice that some coins do not have value in Ethplorer whereas in Etherscan they have value, did you also notice that, which of the two are you using to check your wallet.
I used both but when seeing price I used etherscan because it was more accurate and besides the coin that is listed already have an exchange so it was not hard to track where the coin was listed and sometimes it has a value also indicated and it was accurate on the exchange.
