21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Etherdelta still OK to use? on: September 02, 2019, 12:01:45 PM
Etherdelta seems to be the first ethereum based decentralized exchange and in 2017, when many of us came to know about the cryptocurrency I think it was one of the best places to sell tokens before they are listed in bigger and centralized exchange, it is true that the site is extremely slow and  I was discouraged not using it because of its slowness and volume. If you desire to trade your tokens from bounty I will advise you to use it but if it is for trading I will say you will be frustrated because of the volume.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens you promoted and invested down 90% on: September 02, 2019, 06:37:50 AM
I just received some of the tokens I've promoted in the bounty campaign, some of these coins reach their soft cap or able to generate funds in their ICO stages but I was disappointed seeing all these coins down 90% or no buy order at all when it hit the market.

And to think some of them included in their promotion that they will not let the price go down in their ICO price, do you think it's still worth investing in ICO if there is no uncertainty that you will a make a profit, or is it because Bitcoin dominance left no room for new coins to grow in the market?
I will not advise any one to invest in ico now because it is away of losing money. I rather gambling with my funds instead of feeding those developers. If you want to invest in any coins or tokens it is wise you do that when there are listed in any of the popular exchange and you are sure those coins/tokens have a very nice volume because you will always get it cheap in the exchange than any of the ico. I have made that research and there are no bonuses that will attract me again to invest during ico!.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust the market or the business owners? on: September 02, 2019, 05:38:23 AM
Which crypto do you trust more, the one that is traded freely and nobody knows where the rate will go tomorrow (like Bitcoin) or the one that is under control of its developers (like Ripple, more or less)?

Where you would invest?
I prefer a decentralized cryptocurrency like bitcoin than the one that is under the control of the owners. Last time the USA senator refer to other coins as shitcoin and that is because there are centralized and the founders are using them for business purpose and not to favour the general public. Bitcoin system has rated to be the best form of money and it has stand strong no matter what has happened in terms of attack and publicity. I love bitcoin because it is decentralized, it is reliable and we can have confidence in its growth.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the last recession, bitcoin went up 999999900% what will happen next? on: September 02, 2019, 05:18:12 AM
I don't think the recession had anything to do with bitcoin creation at that time. Bitcoin was created because of the need to have a personal control to role over your assets in my thinking. After the so called recession, it took bitcoin a whole lot of time to get to the value it is now...

Satoshi said at some point he invented btc due to the recession
If he said so then we should expect more positive outcome from Bitcoin when we are having economic recession across the world. I believe in Satoshi world more than any economic profession and from the historical data we have also see how bitcoin has been in positive trend from the inception till now. Those that desire to succeed in business and life are now study Bitcoin for diversification purposes and the more the economic get problem the better it is for Bitcoin and other coins.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: September 02, 2019, 04:45:28 AM
The ether is now in an extremely low position. How good is the idea to buy it now?
I don't think it is a good trading strategy to sell Bitcoin for any coins including ethereum in this bearish market. Ethereum has no market of its own and most times it follow more than any other coins. You can buy ethereum with any other coins including the fiat currency but flip Bitcoin for ethereum is what I will not do.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: September 01, 2019, 05:40:03 AM
I wont be surprised if there are no reaction in the market, the big launch kicks off with sept 6 warehouse deposit, It is enough to cause pump in the market some years back but nothing seem to be happening. we are wondering where the rise will come from this time, maybe not with news and festive season.
News are not moving the market these days and bakkt may not make much difference! Unlike in 2017 when future trade affect the market much. I think bitcoin is now finding reasons why it should take the next direction outside bakkt’s news and other information. The market has been moving in a range and it has been a bit stable for the past three days now.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Still In a Bear Market, But What About Bitcoin??? on: August 31, 2019, 06:31:14 AM
If altcoins are in a bearish mode it only says that  some traders selling thier altcoins and.putting it to bitcoin , because they know bitcoin will have its bull run the next month.
August has been a determiners to what happened in November and December. If bitcoin closed below $9500 before the close of the weekly or monthly candlestick today then we should expect bearish markets for next month and subsequent months.
We have too many altcoins and as such it will be very difficult for some of them to recover from the last year bearish trend. It is not because there are shitcoin but because we have many of them that are doing the samething bitcoin is doing.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: August 31, 2019, 05:50:05 AM
What do you guys think about China urges to ban all online gambling in Philippines?. One of their reason is that "The embassy said many of the Chinese citizens working illegally in Philippine casinos or POGOs and other forms of gambling entities are subjected to what media described as modern slavery due to severe limitation of their personal freedom and also Beijing welcomed the suspension of the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).

Earlier this year, I opened up this thread: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin

So it looks like Philippines is somewhat leaning on online and offline casino to bring revenues in the country. So I doubt that the government will listen to China, if Philippines wanted to stop it then they shouldn't offer gambling licenses and stop the influx of Chinese coming to the Philippines. But it's too late already, in my opinion. There is big money involved here, and I think that Duterte won't heed their call.
I read this news when you opened this thread some time ago and I was wondering why should China give that type of other to Philippines! It will be unfair if Philippine decide to ban casino and both offshore and online gambling. This is one of the biggest revenue source for Philippine and it just like asking China to stop manufacturing phones and other forms of technology because it is destroying African economies.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Anyone help me Regarding Bitcoin True Investment? on: August 30, 2019, 04:17:39 PM
Hello,  Everyone
I am a newly in the field of bitcoin.  So can anyone let me help regard the small and good return investment.
You can learn how to trade bitcoin by open account with any of the exchange and start with little investment. Those that become successful in trading are those that were able to learn how to trade or invest themselves and learned through experiences.. I have been in your shoe before and after losing significant amount through other peoples' recommendations I was able to develop a personal investment strategy that is now helping to make money .
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: August 30, 2019, 07:25:14 AM
You can certainly play to have fun, but it all depends on the emotional state of a person, as well as on his character.  There are such people that even when they play a simple card game, their excitement is so strong that they are capable of inappropriate actions if something goes wrong with them.  And there is no interest, and even no cash bets, and this person is already becoming dangerous for his excitement.

You're missing something here. You can certainly have fun while gambling as long as you have the money to support that. It doesn't depend on the emotional state of that certain person, that depends on the person itself if he will be letting himself controlled by his emotions or not. I've been struggling to stop myself from gambling and I can tell you that it is so hard but the thing here is that it is not you vs. your addiction but there are a lot of people around you to help.
People are addicting to gambling because it is all about greed. If you are not greedy you should know that you make money by doing something that is not losing to the opposite person. Gambling was done as a game of fun from beginning but now people thought that it is the most simple way to make money fast but remember that the gambling sites owners and your fellow gamblers are out to make the same money and as such whenever you are making money or winning someone is losing and when you are losing, someone is making money from it.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and IEO running at same time for same project on: August 30, 2019, 06:58:10 AM
What I observed is that they stop the ICO then switch to IEO. Care to name which project does both ICO and IEO at the same time? With regards to the not disclosing the total funds raised, almost every project is doing that. It must be because of legal issues.
"legal Issues" is the crypto currency regulated? Because i think people can raise money for their projects through any means they desired to do. Either through ico or ieo and they can be used both in other to raise money. I have not come across any projects using both to raise funds for their projects but I did not see them breaking any laws by doing that. However, you should just be careful in investing in that type of projects as many investors have lost money through that.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt Update: Clients can now make a warehouse deposit starting on Sept 6 on: August 30, 2019, 05:41:27 AM
Hmm, and the moment Bakkt announced this one, the market suddenly went down. Don't want to assume some correlation but it seems that this news didn't affect the price as expected. We have been hype about this since last year, but then too many delays (to be fair, its not within their control) cause investors to 'wear out' and get exhausted because of the long wait. Are they willing to renew their interest, could be, but at this point investors are using a 'wait-and-see" approach here.

I'm pretty sure everyone wants to get their coins cheap before it Bitcoin moons to new highs shortly.
Maybe the current correction is a sign to get bitcoin cheap by those that wish to get bitcoin and invest the same in future contracts. BAKKT has not impact bitcoin price positively most of us expect serious pump since the announcement and that has not happened but I believe when BAKKT started to take the full deposits of bitcoin in their warehouse we should be able to see bitcoin mooning!
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: August 29, 2019, 05:16:05 PM
After reading op post I concluded that he no much about the trading. You just need to perfect your knowledge and developed strategy that will put you ahead of others. Remember that you may not need to learn all the indicators in other to become a successful and skillfull trader! For me, I completely build my trade around pin bar in candlesticks formations and using volume indicators to know the reversal level and the strength of the trends. It has been helpful to me. Another very important things you can add to your strategy is patient. Without patients, you will keep losing money in trading
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto scams and arrests of 2019 so far on: August 29, 2019, 08:15:33 AM
Out of all the scams I am the most impressed how Binance happened to handle user losses through SAFU.  Was also a great learning lesson for exchanges and users to adhere to privacy also AML/KYC so that users can be repaid. I know they work with compliance company Ciphertrace to help counteract any future problems
That is why after binance's hacked people are still trading there. Binance is an exceptional exchange and innovative exchange and they have many ways of handling problem. I have been trading in binance after the hacking with confidence that it is going to survive no matter what happens and what happened to binance if it other exchange especially the new one it could have been very difficult for them to handle it.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 29, 2019, 07:46:28 AM
Is there a demand out there for the coins/tokens that companies and startup are churning out every day?

The market for initial coin offerings (ICOs) looks like its basically dead, is it likely going to resurrect again? What we see is that market players are spending much of their time focused on finding new ways to deploy new supply of tokens, but not focusing much on long term drivers of demand. However, there are natural limits to the market's ability to absorb an endless supply of tokens, there is a limit to how quickly we can push supply into an increasingly saturated market.

Do you think the ICO is really dead?
If not, where is the market headed?
The ico market is not dead and by visit icorating.com and icobench.net you will find new projects launching the ico every day and so many of them still attract investment. It seems some people really want to keep putting money into some projects with long-term views in mind. I have stopped investing in ico and I only buy good projects when there are listed in exchange! Sometimes you get them 8 to 9 time less than the ico price. IEO may be replace ico in future and that is if the manipulation going on in some exchange is bring under control.

37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why it is possible to predict price movement? on: August 29, 2019, 06:23:53 AM
This sounds a simple question, but it is not indeed. There are a lot of trading methods claim working. Nevertheless, I wonder in general what logic these methods based on in predicting price movement.

Can anyone give me a good answer?

Thanks
I have been pointing pin bar candlestick formation as the most accurate signal of market reversal. It might be very difficult for some people to identify that but if you can trained your eyes to point that out on a daily chart as a long-terms traders or 30 minutes chart as a day trader you have had gold in your hand! We have many strategies out there but candlestick formation has printed the best trading information or price action to me.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade strategy / top three pointers for newbire!! on: August 28, 2019, 04:10:29 PM
Here goes nothing.. 1: obviously if bitcoin is rising or falling most likely your investment is doing the same..  2:find a stable option to place your money in. 3:not only observe day/week/monthly gained and losses, check the hourly status as well
Investment and trading is two different things and sometimes we referring to the two as the same. If you are buying bitcoin and sell another currency simultaneously but when we are talking of investment we are referring to buying and holding coins for the long term.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you ready for the next ride on: August 28, 2019, 09:53:09 AM
i hope the bullish scenario will be happend on bitcoin price and alts will follow  Wink
https://cointelegraph.com/news/3-key-indicators-suggest-bitcoin-price-is-ready-for-a-massive-move
thanks
It all about bitcoin now and some of the altcoins may not move an inch in the next bull run. The ICO market that bring bullish momentum to the altcoins in 2017 is almost dead because of the way developers handle peoples funds. Just imagine a projects that got $12,600,000 from ico in 2017 -2018 could not developed the project and the next thing is to launch another project last week! It is sad that altcoins market may not recover again but we all know the reasons that happen and it is because people are not ready to keep wasting money on a system that keep scamming them. Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and few of them are attracting investors today because the founders are sincere.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ieo-s and Profit on: August 28, 2019, 07:58:44 AM
Im interested about ieo-s  do You guys think after the Matic and other ieos Will do the price surge Again??  Or should i start looking the fresh ones.

So is ieo taking time less then ico to be listed on Exchangers?  So the Maturity date Will be When?

Let's Say i Buy some fresh new ieo so how Long  i should Wait to see profit gains like a 200%-300% in short time period.

Its worthed to invest Again into Matic?  Will there Will be other big pump or price upward Movement?

Thank You!!
People are using IEO in another ways to make money. I was thinking that IEO is a replacement to ICO and i only invested in one at latoken because I see it as a secure environment to invest in projects. I think we have to be careful in holding some of the IEO as it is like a pump and dump kind. Don't invest in it for long terms. Be ready to sell when others are holding and buy another one if not you will be left with coins or tokens that no one will be ready to buy from you in the long term.
