21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double or Nothing on: October 25, 2016, 10:06:59 AM
even though i like to gamble, but i wont take the chance, i will keep the money in my pocket and walk away, even though I wont lose anything but i will feel regret if i lose the 100$, so i feel better accepting the 100$ rather than 200$ but has the chances of losing it all

Smart move will be to take $100 and walk away from there as something is always better then nothing and if we choose to gamble then we may win in first or second round and that will make us to gamble more which will result in loosing everything at the end of the day.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 25, 2016, 10:03:31 AM
Changing times and fast paced technologies are slowly influencing the ways we do our day to day transactions. Even third world countries are being introduced to BTC, though at a slower pace. It might take more than 6 years before something like mass adoption in far away places take place. People living in remote areas would find it challenging to adapt to changes because of logistical problems and infrastracture limitations.

Exactly. And I think that people over a certain age might have problems to adapt to bitcoins as well.
I do not think that you will find much bitcoin users over fourty. Maybe none over fifty.
But I think that the younger people will still use btc once they have reached that age if they have learnd it before.
So the time when nearly everybody is using btc will be way past 6 years.

We may see most of the youth will start using bitcoins in near future but the traditional thinkers will never prefer to use them as its a totally new concept for them and they may even find it complicated to use it so I don't think that everyone will start using bitcoin by that point of time.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: slow confirmations sometimes? on: October 25, 2016, 10:00:41 AM
How come sometimes my transactions take a long time to confirm even if I pay the recommended or higher tx fees?

This past week has seems to be quite slow, I have some transactions both large and small that took several hours to confirm.

Is it something to do with the network?

at the time when you posted this thread, there are currently around 15mb of transaction waiting to be included in a block and it is around 28k transaction IIRC. so it will need around 15 blocks for those transactions to get all confirmed. basically if you want to get included in the very next block, you should pay higher fees than anyone else has paid specially if there are lots of transactions waiting to get confirmed

If you add higher fees then the issue of delay in confirmation time can be resolved and it may not take more then 10 minutes for the transaction to get confirmed and may be core development team will work on it in future.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone interested in learning how to trade bitcoin for a living? on: October 25, 2016, 09:57:57 AM
Yes, of course . all want success in identifying bitcoin. bitcoin now has become a livelihood and promising job.
I am very interested to know bitcoin deeper. because most of my life is shared bitcoin.
You have brought out the word out of my mouth, exactly what I want to say. I think most people if not all that you see here on this forum are for one reason, which is to make a decent living through bitcoin.
Nevertheless, this is a welcome idea and we all expect to hear from you what you have come to offer.

It's a fact what most of use here will want to learn how to achieve this goal. Although I am very sure that it is not something that can be done easily.
In fact I am sure that for the masses of use it's not possible because either way you need a skill set to do this.

Be it trading, developing or even marketing, in this world you need to be good in something to earn from it.

Yes that is true and somehow the obvious thing that must happen when a person needs to earn from something.

But if we will take the discussion about the OP's concern it's really hard to believe that their boss can teach people to earn up to $1000 a day. That is possible but at the same time it can wreck one person's trading funds even in just 0.1% movement. There is a response few post away from the main post about leverage and that is true and making sense.

Back in my own view, I don't consider trading bitcoin to support my living. It's the role of my real life job. And besides trading funds must remain as trading funds. I want my trading earnings solely used for trading purposes. You can't feel the profits out of playing in the price fluctuations if a person will do a regular trading withdrawals.

Its good to keep separate funds for trading and keep on playing with them in long run and make sure that even if you go through loss you have enough funds in your real life to take care of your basic needs and won't affect you financially.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: October 25, 2016, 09:21:22 AM
Poor countrys cant be helped by the bitcoin you know liots of people dont know this but poor people cant buy bitcoins becuase they are to poor the bitcoin has a to
high value and they cant reach that so he cant help them.
Correct its hard to bitcoin to help them if they can not afford to buy the main requirements to access bitcoin even bitcoin is open for all they should have gadgets and internet connection first to work in bitcoin but this is not practical things they want to buy foods than gadgets.

I agree they cannot do this so they will not succeed in getting bitcoin that can help them due to the the fact they are to poor buy it these days.
I think its never gonna help these poor countries to be honest..

We cannot expect that it will help poor countries as a whole but people who are aware about bitcoins and can manage to earn them will surely help them as it will be an source of income for them which can take care of their living.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream cryptocurrency? on: October 25, 2016, 09:19:33 AM
My dream crypto currency is definitely bitcoins as its the king of digital currency and it will survive in long term too holding a great price and its far better then any other altcoins which can disappear suddenly.

Blood running down the streets.

Where are all the pumpers with the "buy when blood is running down the streets" quotes?

For every seller there is a buyer... whether the seller says "I dumped" or the buyer says "nom nom".

more like DRK sellers saying "hnnnng" and buyers choking on a dick.

Yes it could be.  But what happens when people don't realize the profit they thought they would get from running a masternode?  They have close to $10,000 tied up that could be put to use elsewhere with potentially much higher returns.  If the number of masternodes starts to decrease will that be an indicator of long term uncertainty?
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised there are still 500 or so Masternodes online. 1 DRK per day is nothing -- NOTHING -- for having 1000 DRK tied up. And if you're paying for server fees and such, it's even worse. I don't know who would run a MN that costs probably $10-$20 per day in fees just to earn $10 per day in DRK. Some of them are likely IT professionals using company servers for their own gains; I can't think of any other way to make it truly worthwhile.
10-20 usd for a server?Huh You want the gold plated one, don't you? ;-))
1) I host my own box on an unmetered 10MBPs NIC for under $70/mo with over 50 VMs on it.
2) I also know of a VM host that sells an OpenVZ machine for $6/mo. They also accept BTC as payment. Not bad.

As a footnote to #2; I've actually been able to CPU MINE enough DRK on that $6 node to make it pay for itself. Compare that to your Amazon EC2 crapola...

There seems to be an astoniching amount of ;azy assholes that want to elevate simple common sense to the level of "OMG you haz to be expertz!!!1!!!!!!!11!!!!!eleventyone!!!!!" Being a fucking lazy asshole doesn't justify the argument. It really takes very little effort and brain power to set up a Master Node now. If you can't manage to pull that off, you're too fucking stupid and lazy to live. There is abso-fucking-lutely no fucking excuse for fucking it. Fucking. Fuck. Fffuuuuuuuuu.....
Seems to me you are the Lazy One.

Rather than setup a tutorial with links and a video you sit on all your expertise and spew out a couple of choice tough words.

(.)
You're entitled to me and mine?

Fuck you, cockdrip. You've got access to all the same information and resources that I've got. I'm not here to make life better for you. YOU are here for that, so stop being a lazy, entitled fuckwit and make it happen. It's not my job to do it all for you.

Go back to your McJob before your power is shut off. Oh, wait, I paid all your bills with taxes and welfare, you don't even have a McJob...

I'm going to warn you only once.
You do not want to threaten me.

We got a badass over here.
