Same happened to me with two different A3s. Did you solve the problem? Forum member Mr. Bliss help me out with firmware and I flashed it. But Ohhh one hashboard is still dead 1st shows 3 ASIC alive but in few minute dead. So My friend our BLADE came faulty. All we have to do is now asking BITMAIN for treatment. People with fine A3 congratulation for nice harvest . Who are not let's do our best . Peace out. That looks a lot like a Power supply problem, Try to unplug PCIE cables from boards 1/2 and chain 1/2 --> test board 3 (see if it works) Then, Try to unplug PCIE cables from boards 2/3 and chain 2/3 --> test board 1 (see if it works) Then, Try to unplug PCIE cables from boards 1/3 and chain 1/3 --> test board 2 (see if it works) If they all three work then chances are it's a power supply issue. Another thing, try to move the location to a different wall outlet and test it there that sometimes works for me. Hi boneyg001,thanks for kind advice! I did tried one blade test actually. But testing order was different. From config panel it says chain 1 is malfunctioning. So I did chain 1 first. And it didn’t work. Is that important the order you suggested? Then I had better try it? The power voltage is 1 phase 200V. I tried 3psus 2x AWP++ and third party 1800w. All worked fine with D3.(which I got rid of for this A3.) So I think PSU is okay. But one thing I wonder is when I reboot it. When starting noises went down it shows miner status And many times the number of ASIC is slightly different. Sometimes chain 1 doesn’t show at all . Sometimes it shows 3asic alive then dead. Sometimes it shows 6asics alive then dead. Sometimes 4........ Strange, maybe something like coil on the board is attached loose. Anyway at this moment disassemble myA3 now is risky about warranty issues. I will wait for Bitmain reaction. Hope it will be quick. I am having this issue since 3 days. Tried different PSUs, changed the data cables, plugged one hashboard after the other and still not working....same story. Do you think someone else archive of backup can help?

can you help me with your A3 Archive? I have 2 dis-functioning hashboards
What are the instructions for creating an archive? I could do it if I had instructions. on your A3 dashboard, you go to system after that upgrade and than you will find generate archive! That would be great if you can help. @Tssar this function creates ONLY the backup of the config files, this is not possible to copy the firmware. Ok thanks and make sense I'm stuck with a not working A3........

how i must fill "Worker in miner configuration please ? I just put my siacoin wallet adress without "dot workername" that's ok ? you have to put the dot it should be wallet.worker ok thanks a lot. i modified the parameter in putting .Olivier that's seems ok, i see it in siamining. you are welcome. Would it be possible to send me your A3 archive, as my A3 is having issues with 2 hashboards please.

There's a few usernames earlier in the thread that helped out, maybe PM them for best results... thanks mousehouse....already done....waiting for their feedback since yesterday

Anybody else experience a collapse in mining speed / ASICs going offline this morning around 00.30 EDT? Looked the same as the dip the day before and I can see it in the global hash rate graph on siamining as well (smallish compared to earlier).
After a reboot all was fine again. Maybe my A3 crapping out or ... ?

I think you just were mining during the soft fork test. Try rebooting your miner. It should be fixed by now I am having the same issue with 2 boards. The reset and the reboot didn't help. The only solution left is to flash it and we need the help of the A3 community as on Bitmain website they don't have it available.... I have asked for support waiting for a miracle to happen :-)

Hi,
Can you assist us by sending the image of the A3 FW please

UPS is asking for $72 import fee. Anybody else got the same?
All and all with my sound proofing box and such this ended up $3.3k. I hope I make it back lol.
Yes, I paid it too. I paid it twice for x2 A3. I have also paid for L3 and S9 as well, however its typically in 50's but for A3, its 72$. On to different topic, I just now plugged in one of my A3 in Siamining, Is there a option to set the payout threshold ?. no, you will get firstly 500 coins, then payout every 6 H Hi Abdulaziz, Hi, Would it be possible if you can share the A3 FW image. We are 2 in this situation Thanks

Harper86 and Cryptonica helped me out getting a backup of the A3 firmware. thanks for that guys! As others already found out as well: The A3 and D3 are very similar. I even found out that the software inside the controller chips on the hashing boards is exactly the same. Out of curiosity I tried to run the A3 firmware on the D3 and the A3 firmware actually detects the ASIC chips and tries to start mining on the D3 hardware. Looking at the logging it's fine, but it doesn't accept the work as Bitmain did actually changed something on the ASIC chips I guess. I do think they used the D3 as a base and stripped out 10 of x11 algorithms. For now the conclusion is that you can't convert the D3 to an A3. It probably does need reprogramming of the ASIC chips on the hashing boards itself. Blissz please help us out with the A3 FW image you already have. Me and Tssar have the same problem (2 out of 3 hash boards not showing up). I tried everything, PSU, cables, turn on/off boards one by one, Factory reset, nothing helps. Before I open a ticket with Bitmain, Id like to try reflashing the FW as a last resort. That way I succeeded in revitalizing a D3 with similar hash boards issues a few weeks ago! On Bitmains support page there is no trace of A3 reference, manuals or files Keep up the good work mate! That would be helpful! Thanks

Hi,
I received my A3 and I have only one board working! did you face that?
Any idea how to fix this? Try unplugging the boards and running them one by one. Most likely you have something loose. Also check if you have enough power. I've had bad and loose connectors on PSU's as well, might just want to move them around, give them a proper inspection. I tried 5 different PSUs didn't work out. I am looking for the flash it again do you know where to find the A3 FW? Some ugly rumors floating around that the SC Dev team is testing a Bricking hack. Not a good sign. I guess that would lead to a GPU bricking hack and inevitably the death of Siacoin. These are some seriously dumb assholes if that is true. I have the feeling my 2 hashboards are deffective...the only thing that can save me is the firmware maybe...will keep you pisted http://

Hi,
I own 20 S9, and currently I'm facing 2 issues! Noise and the heat. I'm building a place to better to control the inflow and the outflow
For those who managed to better control the heat/noise if you can guide me or help to resolve the challenge me that would be great.
Thanks,
