22  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 0.1 BTB (bitbar) for sale for 0.125 BTB or 4.2 LTC on: May 07, 2013, 12:40:18 AM
I am selling some bitbar "dust". 0.1 BTB to be exact in exchange for 0.125 BTB
Why would some one pay .125 BTB for .1BTB?

Sorry, I meant to say 0.125 BTC.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 0.1 BTB dust I would be willing to exchange for 0.125 BTC or 4.2 LTC on: May 06, 2013, 11:54:49 PM
Would also be willing to take 4.2 LTC in exchange for the 0.1 BTB (just updated the subject to reflect this).
24  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 0.1 BTB (bitbar) for sale for 0.125 BTC or 4.2 LTC on: May 06, 2013, 11:54:19 PM
Will also take 4.2 LTC (just updated subject)...
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 0.1 BTB dust I want to sell make me a reasonable offer (BTB or LTC) on: May 06, 2013, 11:45:10 PM
i'll give you 0.01 BTB for 0.1 BTB

I know you were joking, but I did say reasonable offer.

The subject says it all. If you need some fractional BTBs to get to a full bar, this is a good opportunity.
27  Economy / Currency exchange / 0.1 BTB (bitbar) for sale for 0.125 BTC or 4.2 LTC on: May 06, 2013, 11:33:57 PM
I am selling some bitbar "dust". 0.1 BTB to be exact in exchange for 0.125 BTC a reasonable amount of LTC. Please make me a reasonable offer via reply or PM if interested.

Wow, you raised the last blocks found list to show the last 500, thanks!!

250 is far enough imho Smiley

Wow, we're some 48 hours behind in getting 520 confirms. The BTB network is really really slow...

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTB: Are there any disadvantages to a small pool payout (e.g., 0.01 BTB)? on: May 06, 2013, 02:38:41 AM
OK, I think it's actually 0.0001 BTB per transaction, I wish someone could confirm though.

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TESTING] BitBar PushPool btb.binarycoins.eu [solved] on: May 06, 2013, 02:06:21 AM
Hey sido, why does the pool site say at the bottom:

Last block value: 0.164687 BTB

It's been at that value for more than 24 hours, is that really the last block value? I would have thought that it went down from that due to difficulty increases.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] BitBar exchange. Consolidating your digital wealth on: May 06, 2013, 02:04:41 AM
I'd like to see BTB/FRC.

first time someone mentioned FRC will poll it  Grin

Exchange still says "Error establishing a database connection" for me Sad

looks fine? Wink

Still down for me...
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTB: Are there any disadvantages to small payout (e.g., 0.01 BTB) on: May 06, 2013, 02:01:58 AM
Assuming there are no transaction fee's there are no cons.

The pro is you don't risk as much with the pools, unless the money is in your hands (it's not when it's in a pool) it's at risk.

Maybe that's the right question to ask, does BTB have transaction fees?

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BTB: Are there any disadvantages to a small pool payout (e.g., 0.01 BTB)? on: May 06, 2013, 01:56:32 AM
I am wondering if I should cash out my pool balance in 0.1 BTB or 0.01 BTB. What are the pros and cons? I know with LTC/BTC many small amounts can cause you to have to pay a surcharge for transactions later. Is this true with BTB as well?

Balance after mining with 2mh/s for more than 24h:

Account Balance
0.05370035 BTB

You must have mine for much more than 24 hours to see a balance already. It is taking close to 40 hours at this point for it to go non-zero.

SELECT COUNT(blockNumber) FROM `shares_uncounted` WHERE `userId` = 230

COUNT(blockNumber) 204

204 blocks are waiting to became matured and reward will be added to your balance, starting at block no 5664, check http://btb.binarycoins.eu/blocksAuth for details about confirmations Smiley

Thanks, and I just "rewarded" the pool by finding the last two blocks  Smiley.

Sido, I think I have figured out why I am getting so many prevhash-stales. My network difficulty is >1M. So I guess quite often, by the time I solve a piece, the pool has already moved on to the next block. Then I have opportunity lost at the start of the next block, since I am still solving stuff for the previous block.

Suggestion: Can you please put a maximum cap on the difficulty of something reasonable like say 250k or something or is this not within your control or do we need stratum to be able to do something like this?

I wish others with powerful rigs (i.e., >1.4 MH) would let me know if they are having the same problem with prevhash-stales with cgminer.

Here is a verbose excerpt for reference. The time zone is CST (GMT-5):

My account balance still 0 even after 30 hours ...

It currently takes a minimum of 36 hours to get 520 confirms, keep on waiting... I'm at about 35 hours right now since the first block I worked on with a zero balance despite being in the top three contributors to the pool for most of the last 35 hours, so if I can be patient, you can too...

It think Sido's done an awesome job putting up a pool so quickly and fixing issues as they arose. Some people have already written about being paid out. I will post a message when my account goes non-zero as well. I hope others do the same to add credibility to the pool.

My pool id: mg128364

we are still in test mode Smiley

exactly in this moment i was fixed last bits in ppnls payment scripts.
There was 7 blocks unpaid, but now you should have in your account all what you deserve

can you tell me your username on pool? i'll check it

Sido, awesome job!

Can you please tell me why I get so many prevhash-stale blocks in cgminer?

Thanks
