100 shares on BF for 2.3?  Are people crazy?  wtf?

Look at all the stocks and most have only taken a 10% hit tops, but AM is where most people have their money that they wanna get out so it's taken the largest undeserved hit.
bought all i could.. price on the rise now again...

Me too but if we test $85 then expect to drool at a 2btc AM share.

I like how TAT.ASICMINER is pretty much holding up. Smiley

Can we please get an official statement from friedcat regarding the asicminer developments highlighted in this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUsaSCRdtYI

That's unreal
208  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] TAT.VIRTUALMINE - IPO at 12PM EST - Early Bidding is Open on: June 09, 2013, 12:08:12 AM
this is funny.

1000 shares = 7.39 BTC
1000 shares daily div = .0322 BTC

Your buy back is 200 x div = 200 x .0322 = 6.44.

You could buy them back right now at a lower price than market!!!!

No thanks, but goodluck.

As I mentioned at least once before, it is not my goal to pull a fast one here. It would be silly for me to close the asset a few weeks after opening it.

Also that would still cost me 600+ btc to do, and there are much better ways for me to use that much coin.

TAT has better things to do with his reputation than to get 50 BTC by pulling a fast one.

It's true but I'm sceptical investing again because this seems to be the common thought. Is there no solution for this sell at 0.007, buyback at 0.00644 problem?
209  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: June 08, 2013, 12:51:54 PM
Could google wallet be the unhackable exchange platform of BTC? If so, btcquick could be the leading role in BTC exchange.

As a web developer for 10 years, this is my thought exactly. There's so much potential here. They can at least go head to head with Coinbase.

Keep marketing! Keep advising with wisard!

PS. Don't sell the company. If you do, no less than a few million.
210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bitfury is looking for alpha-testers of first chips! FREE MONEY HERE! on: June 08, 2013, 06:41:42 AM
bitfury, about your bet, it was edited by BitBet staff right? You did not write this part?

Quote
BitFury's ASIC will be demonstrated to mine Bitcoin either publicly, in an open to the public event announced at least two weeks in advance, or privately as confirmed by unaffiliated, well respected members of the community (this specifically excludes known shills such as Luke-jr) and will consume less than 1 W per GH/s for powering the chip and the board (excluding any cooling appliances). CHIP ZARABOTAET I BUDET POTREBLYAT < 1 W / GH/s. Initiated by Bitfury, who placed the first Yes bet.
211  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin SCI [PHP]: process transactions yourself! (addresses gen, IPN, QR Codes) on: June 08, 2013, 05:20:29 AM
If you have problems with __autoload already declared, then open bitcoin.lib.php and remove the autoload include and include the ecc-lib files manually.

Replace this:

Code:
<?php
/**
* Bitcoin utility functions class (extended for sci lib)
*
* @author theymos (functionality)
* @author Mike Gogulski (http://www.gogulski.com/)
* @author Jacob Bruce (private/public/mini key generation)
* (encapsulation, string abstraction, PHPDoc)
*/
require_once(dirname(__FILE__).'/ecc-lib/auto_load.php');
define("BITCOIN_ADDRESS_VERSION""00");// this is a hex byte

class bitcoin {

With this:

Code:
<?php
/**
* Bitcoin utility functions class (extended for sci lib)
*
* @author theymos (functionality)
* @author Mike Gogulski (http://www.gogulski.com/)
* @author Jacob Bruce (private/public/mini key generation)
* (encapsulation, string abstraction, PHPDoc)
*/

set_time_limit(7200);

if(
extension_loaded('gmp') && !defined('USE_EXT')){

define ('USE_EXT''GMP');
}else if(
extension_loaded('bcmath') && !defined('USE_EXT')){

define ('USE_EXT''BCMATH');
}

require_once(
dirname(__FILE__).'/ecc-lib/classes/interface/PointInterface.php');
require_once(

Congrats on making a chip so fast, even though I am technically your competitor, I am happy for the whole eco system.

Here is why everyone who bet on Bitbet that your chip will run "< 1 W / GH/s" will loose:
....

Thanks, but .... we may still loose technically because there's 15th June to give proof and bitbet.us says it can't extend resolution time unfortunately, it's a bit unfair as mainly packing screw up... At least unfair to those who placed bets... I think that I will compensate to all who bet for 'Yes' in case if chip works as expected, so they would get expected betting returns. As this is pretty my responsibility for delays.

Wow really? That's really nice if you do. Smiley

Good luck!

Hi yall,

I created a signature for btcQuick. If you want, feel free to use it to show your support. Send me a message for the code.

Cheers

215  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking to buy PUT options on ASICMiner on: June 08, 2013, 03:08:10 AM
1st of September is quite an interesting date, indeed. Basically, will AM proof sustainability or not...

What I think:

Your strike is reasonable, but the price too low to even start gambling Smiley
Maybe you find someone to PUT on date for 0.1 price, but not for immediate option.

Yah same thought here. I'd bullish on AM and would happily take some PUT options but I'm not tying up my BTC for months for basically 5%. Maybe 20%, minimum.
216  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 07, 2013, 03:56:43 AM
I'm going to hazard a guess that the USB miners probably cost around $USD30-40 to make, which at $120/BTC would make them around 0.25BTC. There is plenty of room for them to drop the price (and quickly) as and when some actual competition appears.

This ^ AM is smart.

They are capitalizing on their investment and IP.

Intel does it too. They are so mainstream and have AMD to compete with though that the generations progress and prices decrease at a higher pace. AM has no such AMD, just a bunch of wannabe's as of yet.

It really is. Cool

friedcat, please get your act together and move ASICMINER shares to btct.co. Smiley
I am sure your can do something more valuable with your time than generating dust.

Be careful, Eskimo Bob, I will go to war for Fried Cat. Wink
219  Economy / Securities / Re: Guaging Interest for Mining Investment on: June 05, 2013, 05:41:33 PM
I figure I'll have the 5 Gh/s BFL by August. Josh stated that it would probably take around 90 days to ship if an order was placed now. I'd guess that I'd have the 25 Gh/s by November and the 50 Gh/s by January.

Josh says a lot of things.

I'd figure in 2 weeks I'll be flying a unicorn over a rainbow into a mosh of naked girls. Two weeks.
220  Economy / Securities / Re: Guaging Interest for Mining Investment on: June 05, 2013, 05:02:24 PM
I think what I'm offering is extremely generous looking at what's available at the moment.

Extremely generous...

Hmm...

Maybe if your BFL arrives before the close date, 2014/06/01, lol.

Although I do like a guaranteed 100% ROI. (Neglecting risk with you, BTC and the stock market).
