With the Adrenaline drivers in compute mode I reach 25mhs now
With the original crimson blockhain drivers I reach 17mhs
Could it be a Afterburner setting which is messed up now ?
Adrenaline drivers in compute mode is good. 25 Mh/s for RX 570 seems fine but to get more hash rate out of it. Overclock the mem and undervolt voltages and reduce the clock. Also, use -rxboost parameter in Claymore for a little more push. Drop afterburner to set settings and instead use OverdriveNtool for it. It's way much better.

All of these AI type websites and such are not going to pay you enough to even cover electricity costs.
I thought the same as I had a lot of rigs with me but with time, I was able to sell 95% of it. In a month I'll be able to sell everything that I do not want anymore. It took eight months but it's better than keeping them lying around and waiting that the prices will come back and mining will be profitable. The mining rush is over and I really do not think that it will come back soon. Probably after some years, we'll see history repeat itself but not soon.

just a simple question but one of the old rigs I have which I had not used in about a year is now giving old image error "your smos version is too old and can't upgrade itself"
is the only solution in this case to reflash the USB stick? I haven't driven to that location and was thinking just switching it on to see if it updates by itself, but I"m getting this old version error offline at the moment...
Yes, it is the only solution that you will have to reflash the USB stick if it still doesn't update itself. But if there is more than one secondary storage device in your system. You can use the current version of smos to download the latest iso and flash it in the other drive using ssh. Check the second and third methods in the installation section. https://simplemining.net/page/get-it

Tried doing this but the problem persists, Do i put this line before or after the command line arguments. Also what is the link for the discord? Thanks for your help
setx GPU_MAX_WORKGROUP_SIZE=1024
teamredminer.exe -a x16rv2 -o stratum+tcp://us.rvn.minermore.com:4501 -u RDpPHx43bhrmdyd8L6BcpkHtjuc1vMpNSk.trmtest -p x
Place the lines before. You can try setx instead of set and see if it applies correctly. Discord: https://discord.gg/GDFBVX5

I updated and after a few hours the miner had crashed or the card (vega 56) reset as it was mining about 30% less. Used same settings where it mined perfectly at 41 mh/s for good watts. Just reporting back in case it happens for too many users and a fix is eeked out. On 19.9.3 drivers and this is not an aggressive profile.
OK so it wasnt a one off and happened again about 3 hours in. Is there an auto ramp feature thats tweaking it and pushing it too far causing the miner to crash? After the crash it drops from 41 to 35 Mh/s and uses more power. Will switch over to see if it happens on another miner. My sapphire RX Vega 56 is flashed with 64 air bios, then using powerplay tables to reduce the core and mem voltage. Using OverdriveNtool to OC memory, undervolt core and voltages, 65% fan speed. No issues at all like this. What are you using to OC? Did you have any other parameter in the claymore bat file for tweaking?

Hi,
I have a problem with ETH mining speed. My miner is connected to NiceHash and when they start mining ETH, first few minutes the speed is stable at around 62 MH/s. After generated new DAG file the speed drops by 10 MH/s (so to around 51 MH/s).
I have 2 Nvidia cards. 1x GTX 1070, 1x GTX 1070 ti
Why is this happening?
It used to happen with me in my 6x RX580 rig. After the new DAG, the hash rate went from 182 MH/s to 179 MH/s. It is not such a huge impact but closing the miner and restarting the system did the trick for me and the hash rate was back. Also, reset any OC that you have on the card and after the restart, apply it again.

The windows update may have updated the AMD driver too and reset it to the original settings.
Did you see if the GPU Graphics option in AMD driver setting is set to Compute? It may be possible that it might be switched to Graphics thus the low hash rate.

all tried, there is no difference, even 780 mV did not lead to a decrease in consumption
farm with 12 cards has 1866 watt consumption at 840 mV or 1830 watt consumption at 800 mV
Power supply efficiency 85%
Is it possible for you to try this in Windows? I had 6x RX580 rig which did 181 MH/s total with 715W from the wall. I was using Windows 10 LTSC, OverdriveNtool and Claymore miner. Each and every card was tested with different tweaking to voltage and clocks to get the best settings possible for them.

Do we see AMD releasing new 5700 XT drivers to allow us to use all 40 compute units? Miner is only seeing 20.
Thank you for the great software!
It might just be a syntax error. In actual, It is using all the computational power there is to get the max possible hash rate. I have seen people getting 62 MH/s with 5700 XT.

If you have an unused server and electricity is free then obviously yes. Monero is going to migrate to RandomX algo which essentially means CPU mining will get a big boost and that will enable you to utilize your server for some good profits.
BTW 20GHz? Care to elaborate?

@Claymore, I don't know if anyone already had this problem. I have a 8 x RX570 8GB rig mining solo ETH, randomly one card (any card) drops to 22Mhs for minutes and then it starts again going to full speed. I have been seeing this for long time now, any advice?
Thanks
Does the fluctuation of the hash rate on the one card reflect in the pool? I read it somewhere that when a correct hash is calculated by the VGA and sent to the pool, it may affect the hash rate of the card for just a moment. Also, try to remove any OC that you have on that card and see if it solves the issue.

Hello!
How could i run two instances of CM 15 simultaneously ? I have miners in different dirs, using CM driver for straps feature , but second miner tells 'driver in use' and runs at not full speed.
You can run two instances of the miner but it will impact the hashrate. Use proper parameters in both the bat files to include the GPUs that you want to run in a particular instance. Moreover, the straps feature requires it to run with the Administrator and it modifies the straps of the device on the fly but it won't be able to do in the second instance. You can try running the second instance too with Admin but I am not sure if it will work.

Even if there is very low or zero trading fees, I'm not going to trust a new exchange with my coins. The essentials are good and lasting reputation of exchange, security, liquidity. I'll still trust Binance, Bittrex or other exchanges that are pretty old with a nominal fee rather than these exchanges. No hard feelings but there are already so so many scams and exchanges are a really good and easy entry point for it.

If it will not motivate people to be online and technically support the network is it possible what there may be connectivity problems due to few full nodes are online permanently?
Yes, that can be a problem but If they implement DPoS consensus. This problem can be solved easily. It will allow the users to vote for their delegates and get the staking reward right in their wallet without the need to run the wallet in the local machine. Moreover, the top 100-150 delegates will actively keep their nodes running thus eradicating the problems of connectivity.

Sorry but I really do not have any idea on how to implement and filter API data from altcoin chain token. I would recommend putting this as a request in the Services section and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

For some reason getting very low hashrate - 20Mh/s (vs 32Mh/s on phoenix miner) on RX580 on ethash. Am I missing something?
Sapphire RX 580 8GB Pulse. 2125 MHz memory 1150 MHz core Claymore 30.7 mhs Bminer 29.8-30.1 mhs No issues here.

If you are using a computer to keep a record of all the private keys of your coins then make sure to encrypt the text file with notepad++ and nppcrypt which will add one layer of protection. Then you can even archive the file with another password and remove the extension of the file. Also, make sure to make multiple copies of the file in different secondary storage devices.

Well, it's not an exchange method but exchange services from third-party apps that Kyber Network and Changelly are. Kyber Network supports various token swaps on ethereum chain and Changelly supports the exchanging of different cryptocurrencies.
I have used Shapeshift multiple times which is embedded in the Exodus wallet and I have never faced any issues with it. Shapeshift is also a third-party service to exchange between different cryptocurrencies without sending them to the traditional exchange.
