203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin adoption globally. What is the cause of the slow pace. on: September 25, 2020, 12:35:43 PM
Blockchain and Bitcoin has been on for more than a decade (according the statoshi's white paper) and up until this moment, there is still struggle in the global community in terms of adoption. Countries like India once placed sanctions on the technology and later lifted it. Russia made laws to govern and regulate the operation of the technology in a bid to take advantage of the solutions it proffers and loads of other stuff ongoing in different locations but still we still have a very slow paced increase in growth and devlopment and acceptance. What could possibly be the reason and what are the ways to further create awareness and global acceptance.

The cause is both the lack and harsh regulation. People don't want to invest millions into blockchain founded projects and then find out that regulatory changes leads to them losing a lot of their money. Similarly, not many countries have taken this seriously and devised regulations around cryptocurrency.

The infantile adoption of blockchain and its derivative crypto assets is at the mercy of officials devising strategies that would assert investors and give them the go ahead signal.

Until this is resolved, you won't be seeing many corporations placing their funds into crypto assets, although a few of them have already embarked on this risky journey, though this is not the norm.

The Idea of people committing funds into blockchain startups is even a story for another day. I personally have been a victim, a project once came up with the name Bitugene in 2018, its a digital oil exploration firm(as claimed) I invested a few thousand dollars into it and also joined the telegram but just two weeks into their presale, they shutdown all media communications including website. I do not consider this a step that will encourge people to invest. Although, I still invest but not on presale levels anymore.

Just a few days ago, my close freind invested a few hundreds of dollars into a project by the name of Yearn Finance Options Official, https://www.yfioptions.com https://t.me/yfopofficial, We are yet to access their website till this moment.

These moves may not encourage further spread of the technology as people get to share experiences and delay the global acceptance.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Blockchain is the fastest as at today and has less failed transaction on: September 25, 2020, 12:26:09 PM
I heard of a Blockchain project by the name of ULTRA, you can lookup on ultra.io. it happens to have almost nil failed transaction  and so far happens to the very first i have seen with such potentials. Please share more lights on any if you have.
Being fastest is not always best, unless it is secured as well. There is a trade off between the two. If cost of transaction is also considered, Litecoin, IMHO, is standing at the perfect position.

i agree, Litecoin has low fees, fast transactions, and it's standing coin for years.
That's the advantage of an old coins but if you look at the new blockchain system which offers the same services, I think its good to give them a chance to showcase their system and if you think it wont work for you, then go back to the old one.

Well, the situation right now with regards to a fast trasanctions and the fees, for sure investor are looking for alternatives and if that site OP is great and secured, then investors will come on your way better also to have a good marketing strategy for this.

Since 2016, I have been looking at blockchains that coem up with solutions that solve problems associated with scalability. Its not to start a project at first and then when the project gets into the space and gets to its design capacity and gets overwhelmed then it is said to be having challenges and needs upgrade. I appreciate EOS a whole lot but I want to know who has researched and has an update on a record breaking project.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin adoption globally. What is the cause of the slow pace. on: September 24, 2020, 05:41:01 PM
I think the adoption is already fast enough, there are so many problem with using crypto in many countries including legality and taxes. If you see any digital payment out there they are trying to burn their money for marketing meanwhile bitcoin don't even need that and people around the world already know about it. If you want to make btc adoption faster maybe always suggest those big e-commerce platform to accept crypto like bitcoin.

I see a system of adoption driven by the direct day-to-day utilities implemented and made easy via the use of the technology. I got a clearer picture when I started subscribing for my data using the DENT Dapp and it was as fast as lightening. If we had other use cases that works directly this way speedily implemented alongside the education void of governmental and agencies interrupting by means of laws and other sanctions. It would have been a take-off point.

Just to be sure and also educational purposes, do you consider Litecoin to be the most secure blockchain and also fastest in a close comparison to EOS and I also think blocktivity.info has a different view if you care to check the blockchain with the highest transactions.

Is this the ULTRA you mean? https://etherscan.io/token/0xd13c7342e1ef687c5ad21b27c2b65d772cab5c8c
they are ERC20 based tokens which means using the ethereum blockchain.

You can't just consider that failed transactions are caused by internal factors (blockchain technical glitches). Sender error can also affect this such as setting the gas too low, as well as the transfer quantity (if the transfer amount is below say 1000 tx, there may not be failed transactions yet).
Maybe you can compare the transaction speed of several blockchains, but failed transactions will inevitably occur sometime due to sender error.

Its the same project. I wonder how it exists on the ethereum projects and still keeps record of the nil failed transaction in this era where the ethereum gas fees is up to the roof top. I am yet to conclude on which to pick amongst fastest blockchain, eithere EOS or TRON. Although, i am not aware of the stress test result of TRON but I know EOS is still fast and cheap too

210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which coins do you suggset to buy before the end of 2020 (BCH, LTC , ??) on: September 24, 2020, 11:19:52 AM
my topic was removed, i don't know why..
so i post it again.

which coins do you suggest is better to invest with before the end of 2020 ?

i see BCH and Litecoin has low transaction fees, and they are good coins actually.
i know most people will avoid BCH because it was free forked coin, but that was in past, today it's actual good coin.

what do you suggest ?

jusst populate your list with the following:

EOS
Credits
Wppenergy
and others you can research on.

There are loads of projects that erupt on a daily basis but the research you will carry out will further advise on which project to invest in and what to commit funds to.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: September 23, 2020, 05:33:15 PM
very true and sure opinion if consulted. The excuse put up by projects on matters regarding payments of bounty hunters are not professionla. The excuse never arises from the inception and then at the end is the big Bang excuse of you not putting helping the project as a bounter hunter by killing the price. The payment to bounty hunters should be in stablecoin as it has not direct connection with the project price deflation.
