I'd recommend you don't use those four addresses just because they may appear foreign to your offline computer - although it may have something to defend against this.
However, if you send say 0.001BTC to one (or even less), then you'll see that the address will be online if you use blockchain.info/xpub/'public key' and it will appear in your online computer.
On the offline computer, can you use ismine(one of your new addresses) and see if you get 'true' printed from the command line.

I am a fan of electrum bitcoin wallet but something very weird is happening with this wallet now when using for cold storage.After creating a wallet on offline machine the wallet is created with 20 Receiving Address and 6 Change Address.Exporting master public keys and then importing these keys to Online Machine results in same 20 Receiving Address and 6 Change Address but once the wallet is synced then the problem starts.In Receiving Addresses 4 new addresses are added automatically at the bottom of 20 addresses and that's not all you don't own these addresses.I tried signing the message using any of these 4 address and it results in error.In offline machine,error is 'Address not found in wallet'.In Online machine,also error which means both machines don't have private keys to this address so if we send bitcoins to these address they will be LOST. I expect some explanation to this from Electrum developer or someone experienced?
These 24 addresses are probably produced from your public key. If you bring your offline computer online, you will get the private keys from those addresses. If you try to sign a transaction from one of those addresses on the offline computer after loading the inputs from the online computer and then broadcasting back on the online computer, you should be able to spend the coins. Your seed is a randomeley generated number, two numbers can then be produced by that. A master public key (xpub) and a master private key (xpriv). These keys are used to control your wallet, the offline wallet has xpriv and the seed, the online wallet has the xpub. Both can be used to generate addresses, however, only your xpriv and your seed are able to produce your private keys. Then what's the use of cold storage if i have to bring offline pc online to generate the private key of those 4 addresses? The weird thing is Electrum generated 4 address and none of the wallets(online and offline) has the clue of the private keys of those address.I tested my mpub key in virtual pc running windows 7 and this time those 4 addresses are not generated.Again weird. |

Yesterday BTC was peaked around $4900+ ~close to $5,000 and it is now back to $4,700
What's your take on it? Minor price correction? Or we will have a slightly down trend towards to Close to $4,000 which is almost a 15% Down
I don't think we will see 4000$ again.I think it's just the minor correction.Once the dust settles you can be sure 5000$ price is not far away.Once we cross 5000$ then support will be insane at 5000$ so reaching 4000$ will be impossible unless something really bad happens. |

I think it's a good decision to blacklist cheaters and not accept new users who are suspicious.I think the people who dumped their onions are those who don't have patience to wait for the review by the deeponion devs.We don't need these types of people anyway in our deeponion community.do we?They prove the point that they are only in the airdrop for profit and not the benefit of the deeponion project.They will dump sooner or later so it's better they do it now rather then on later rounds.It will only help us the Hodlers and true believers in deeponion.  Avoid all the fud and carry on Hodling onions and spreading deeponion to your friends and if you get blacklisted don't panic and let the devs know on the official forum and they will review your account and well,if you can't wait that long enough then you don't deserve to be in the community.  |

Thanks to Michail.He recovered my corrupted byteball wallet and also recovered 14 GBB out of 17 GBB for me.He is a trusted asset to the community here. Michail/ChainSmoker: can you explain how you recovered it? I sent him my wallet backup with 17 GBB. I was getting error sending blackbytes.I don't know what exactly he did but he recovered first 10 GBB then 2 GBB more then 1.75 GBB and at last 0.11 GBB.After that he told me he basically ran out of tricks to recover more so 3.47 GBB are still stuck in my wallet with the same error.I am happy 14 GBB is actually recovered.I have a backup now with 3.47 GBB which are useless as they can't be sent.If someday Tonych gets time,i will send him backup file to look for the cause of the problem. |

There is a few reasons why you would get this issue. It's possible that you sent GBB/GB, but then did a restore so the GB is spent without the restore knowing it. Or that you restored a backup and had a GBB sender resend a package, etc. Also, could have had 2 copies running at the same time (like on a phone and on a pc). No matter the reason, this can be resolved although a little delicate. You could send me the DB and I can fix it, but it would require trust on your part AND that I would have a copy of your wallet for the future - not the best solution. Or, you could start another wallet and send all your funds from the one with the issue to it.
Basically, it's resolvable. You can PM me directly and I can walk you through a solution.
I never sent GBB only today i tried to spend and got the error.This is actually what happened.I will try to explain I applied for airdrop and received 7 GBB blackbytes and took a backup so far so good.Now i received 10 GBB blackbytes next month and didn't took the backup.My system crashed and i reinstalled windows.Recovered the backup and got 7GBB blackbytes.I panicked and asked for help and was told to contact tonych because only he can resent the lost 10 GBB so i requested him and he did helped me.I got back my 10GBB back so back to 17GBB.Now from yesterday i am trying to send blackbytes and every time i get the error and also it gets stuck on 'Syncing..11 private payment left'.I restored backup 5,6 times and still the same problem.17 GBB blackbytes are stuck in my wallet and i can't transfer them i don't know why.Bytes (GB) transfer seems to be working fine. |

A. No. Failure: "Could not send payment: precommit callback failed". According to this question this only suppose to happen if we didn't requested blackbytes again from sender right?In my case i recovered wallet from old backup yes and then Tonych resent my 10GBB and i received it again so i should be able to send them but i still get this error which is annoying.I even created new backup after Tonych resent me 10GBB blackbytes and restored the wallet again using new backup and still i am facing the same error. |

I restored my wallet 3 times on same PC because i was not able to send blackbytes and still i am not able to send it.I think byteball wallet is treating my wallet as clone.how to fix this? I've got a couple of days ago a message too that the wallet may be a restore from old backup and such. I downloaded the last version, I installed it and it started working. Maybe you have an older version too? You should try an install, at least to rule this possibility out. (Backup everything you can first, just to be sure). I have the latest version.Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the problem is not fixed.Deleted 3 times wallet from %appdata%/local/byteball and restored again and it all 3 times created 3 new address along with old address but wallet always stuck at 'Syncing... 13 private payment left'.It's treating my wallet as clone. |

Anyone here facing this problem of 'Syncing... 11 private payments left' and sometimes 'Syncing... 13 private payments left','Syncing... 16 private payments left'.My wallet always gets stuck there and no technical people are helping me here fix this.Tried both the windows and android wallet and same problem.  |

I think (guess) this is caused by the backup you restored. It may contain blackbytes you no longer own.
That isn't possible because Tonych resent my blackbytes upon my request so there's no way i don't own them.My wallet stuck at 'Syncing... 11 private payment left'.I think byteball wallet is having some network issues now and then. |

I am trying to send Blackbytes GBB and getting error everytime.I am sending to Blackbyte Exchange(Semi-trustless) bot with a bind condition rule. I predicted days ago Bcash/BCH is just a pump and dump shitcoin and all the supporters were going mad on the forums spreading FUD.Where are they now when the price is falling?  For any coin to be successful it depends on it's users and not the miners.Miners will come one way or the other but BCH crap will never get user adoption only pump and dump by Roger,Jihan and their paid trolls. |
