201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: August 12, 2015, 04:14:39 PM
The public Bitcoin transaction log shows that Nakamoto's known wallets contain roughly one million bitcoins. As of June 2015, this was the equivalent of US$250 million. Nakamoto's true identity remains unknown, and has been the subject of much speculation. It is not known whether the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" is real or a pseudonym, or whether the name represents one person or a group of people.
202  Economy / Services / Re: Rent a avatar : Just 0.02 BTC a week on: August 12, 2015, 02:46:38 PM
Is there any programs out there to pay for our Avatar (Rent)?
There are plenty, you just need to search for 'Avatar Campaign' in Service section. Some Signature Campaigns also include bonus payment if you are using dedicated avatar as well.
For example, new deal: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1151145.0
Or: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1141808.0
But if you want special treatment and individual approach it can be hard to get deal tinkered just for you.

Thank you very much for your valuable information. I can find something suitable for me!!

Most altcoins which available in two digit satoshi can disappear soon.  So investing on them is too risky.

210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is this possible on: April 08, 2015, 01:24:37 PM
Once your username and password are known to a snooper, they can access your precious bitcoins, whether the credentials are for an online exchange account, an online wallet, your mobile wallet or your PC wallet. If your PC or mobile is connected to the internet, an attacker can access it using security vulnerabilities specific to the device’s OS.

If, like most people, you use a password formula for various logins then you should consider strengthening your passphrase scheme (formula) to generate more secure passwords. Often, the theft of one of your password can reveal all of your other login passwords, because they are variations of a formula. Botnets exist to decypher and extrapolate these formulaic passwords.

A standard Bitcoin transaction requires your private key to unlock its bitcoin outputs. If a third party obtains one or more of your private keys (stored in your wallet) then, he can transact any coins previously received by that public-private key pair. Such a transaction doesn’t have to be made using your wallet – it can be initiated on any device and from anywhere. This is a design feature of Bitcoin which allows, amongst other things, the ability to import and export addresses between wallets.

The following infographic can explain more about it:

WordPress is a blogging platform. Using it for something as serious as handling the transfer of thousands of dollars, or potentially hundreds of thousands or more, is absolutely a failure in logic. Even if you had to begin with a WordPress platform to get off the ground, you should not have continued using it once money started flowing. Either a proprietary solution developed in-house or a solution licensed from a veritable vendor would have been more appropriate.

The culprit seems to be WordPress in every way, since the hacker was able to use it to upload adminer.php, a well-known database management tool which allowed him to modify the site’s database at will. He then sent MySQL calls for non-existent accounts to have their balances changed. At some point, the site’s “secondary accounting system” was able to stop him, but he was able to recover from this roadblock and continue by converting the fake balances to other coins, an obvious oversight in the architecture of the exchange.

The site's owners blames Wordpress for their failure, diverts responsibility away from the site’s owners.
