Received the Airdrop. Thanks!

Hmmm... a project which aims to achieve a completely ZERO value. I'm not sure if the team will be able to achieve this. They're not "incompetent" enough for that! However I would like to get some airdrop anyway: Sent PM Thanks

So this is how their announcement starts: KeepKey acquired Multibit a little over 1 year ago. At the time, the engineers who originally built and supported Multibit had announced that they would no longer be working on it or providing support. That means Multibit was dead the day it was acquired by KeepKey.

I was originally a Multibit Classic user. Since they stopped support for that, i was trying to switch to another wallet. Multibit HD was an option but I went with Electeum instead. Glad I did what I did.

Interesting.
While I assume there must be something that forced you to close the business, I certainly don't buy the argument that it was a "change of heart" thing

So, I just finished reading the guide and all the posts over the last couple days. Thanks for the guide and all the very helpful info !!!
So, from what I gather to date, BIP-91 is confirmed and will be activated, correct ?
I currently have BTC on Coinbase. I just logged into my account and Coinbase has a notice: BTC Buys/Sells/Withdrawals will be Temporarily Disabled on July 31 Due to a potential fork of the bitcoin blockchain, all BTC buys/sells and withdrawals will be temporarily disabled beginning on July 31.
I do not have a wallet yet to move my BTC to yet, that would allow me to get my private keys. I have also just purchased a Trezor, which will arrive by Aug. 28th While waiting for the Trezor, I was going to create a paper wallet, once I transferred my BTC from Coinbase to a new Wallet and retrieved my private key(s).
Do I still have time to download and create a wallet, from posts on this thread, I was thinking either Electrum or Green Address (with double authentication). I had also watched a video with Trace Mayer about a week ago and he recommended using Armory on top of bitcoin-core, but I don't think I have the time (or HDD space on my laptop) to download bitcoin-core and sync to the blockchain.
Confirmation/suggestions/recommendations would greatly appreciated !! :-)
Thanks again for all the great info in the guide and all the posts, it's been quite a crash course/education for me over the past couple days.
regards
Electrum would be the best option for now. Small download, syncs within seconds and you can export the private keys.

Thanks for clarification. I thought importing the private key would be enough, didn't know I had to deposit too. However I'm having another issue now. My ETH address has some balance for a token but etherdelta is showing me NaN, so I can't seem to deposit. I would be able to deposit only if it recognises the token balance. Token Balance: https://i.imgur.com/2eLpilo.jpgWhat etherdelta is showing me: https://i.imgur.com/2IRZfSR.jpgWhat token is that? Maybe it's not yet supported by Etherdelta. Or try clearing the cache, at the top right corner: Select Account > Reset Cache Thanks for your help. Clearing cache didn't make any difference. (And token is supported, actively being traded). However I tried a different machine and it worked. I believe it is some issue with that particular machine, I'm not sure. Thanks again.

Just out of curiosity, how could anyone invest or buy this coin when it's a completely anonymous team. Does it not concern you that you are handing over money to unknown parties?
It's a FUCK token. You don't "invest" in a FUCK token. You buy it to when you want to give people a FUCK. LOL... I hope you are being sarcastic... Give me your address and I'll send some FUCK. oh wait.. I actually give no fuck to that.

We already have a forked BCN and that's called XMR. Anyone not happy with this coin's development can easily switch to XMR. I personally prefer to let the devs do their job, whether they communicate regularly or not.

If I understand correctly the threat of UASF force the reluctant miners to fall in line ..... any comments of this view, as to is this correct, and to what extent is it correct?
I hope this is true, because it puts the power into the hands of nodes, instead of letting the miners do whatever they want.

I tried to use it today to sell some tokens and I kept getting error: "You do not have enough funds to send this order. Please DEPOSIT first using the Deposit form in the upper left. Enter the amount you want to deposit and press the 'Deposit' button."
I have token balance which I'm trying to sell. I tried lowering the sell quantity instead of selling entire balance, still getting same error. Do I need to have some other kind of balance too?
You have to deposit your money first from the address balance into the contract: After that you can trade it on the exchange. ... Thanks for clarification. I agreed so, bytecoin dev friend's message to poloniex is useless for helping. Poloniex will only entertain real bytecoin dev. If dev had no will to continue it, then it is good to take over bytecoin from dev.
I was the one who was trying my best to catch poloniex attention by sending tweets and emails as bytecoin dev's friend. So who the real dev? No one knows who is the real BCN dev. I've tried to get to the Poloniex dev via Linkedin but I guess they have build a big Chinese wall between their users and team. But I want to remind everyone about Poloniex bounty. For one who unblocks BCN on Poloniex or makes a huge step to it will be big reward! Antonio Juarez aka amjuarez is the primary dev, but I don't think he is on this forum - https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoinHere is the last code update he did back in June - https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin/commit/1d48dc274048787b7a95814e216c61a1a7307ef1 I don't quite understand, since we have the source code of the wallet at https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin, and yet the real dev did modification on coding last month. So, what is the problem now? Just ask Antonio Juarez to fix the bug, or if real dev had no intention to continue development, someone can take over the bytecoin, modify source code from git and fork with bug fix. Or if real dev do not want to continue the development and yet do not want to hand over bytecoin to anyone in the earth. Someone can hard fork the source code to a new BCN version 2, then do a coin swap from old BCN. The only issue is how to list BCN v2 to Poloniex (I believe listing in other exchangers had lower difficulty)... If anyone here do not want BCN to be delisted from Poloniex, should gather and work it out together... Just my two BCN (approximate 0.1363 cents at current price) We can never be sure what the original devs are up to. They don't communicate regularly, but they suddenly come up with improvements out of nowhere. And then again go to shadows. So they're not communicating doesn't mean they have abandoned the coin. They may be just keep working behind the curtain, giving zero fucks to what we think of them.

I noticed many pro government Regulation of Bitcoin popping up everywhere thesedays it makes me wonder whether fellow Bitcoiners are in support of these people or more focused on accumulating more Bitcoin & Altcoin. Would Satochi be in Support of Regulation? Are you in support or against?
I'm personally against gov regulation. Would you mind adding a poll to the topic?

.... When I made the OP I thought we lived on a globe and was confused about why NASA was hoaxing the Moon landing and images of Earth. As the years went by it became increasing clear that we do in fact live on a flat motionless plane and that there's a massive conspiracy.
notbatman: I can't say how thankful I am for the life-changing truth you've dwelled upon me. My complete life has been a lie. I always relied on the beliefs others pestered upon me, I always thought the earth was a sphere. Thanks for opening my eyes towards the greatest conspiracy of the mankind.
