Your holding altcoins are definitely good for long term investment, and most of them I also currently hold like Ethereum Litecoin Neo Ripple and Cardano. With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week! it is the perfect time to buy a bitcoin because it's value is quite low but for the next few days it will pump again so you have a bigger chance to sell it for high value and earned a huge profits. Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.
The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.
The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.
Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.
The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.
Will bitcoin be banned because of that?

As OP is a newbie, I really wouldn’t recommend him trying to do trading of any kind until he is well versed with cryptos as a whole before he even considers trading and I think he will get all the information that he needs on this forum here.

I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme. Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?} The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles. Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it. How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about? I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH, and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this. I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Actually we do not need to explain more to people who are unintelligible, and close minded to such a thing. Because they can see our reach due to bitcoins. So let's not notice every bad stuff, Because they themselves will come to us to point out what bitcoins Yeah I agree, we don't need to explain for those people who have negative thought about bitcoin, let them notice that they are wrong .continue your life ,as long as we know how bitcoin works and we know how to earn bitcoin legally just continue life with bitcoin and don't mind others. |

I think this is difficult question. No one can be sure the next bitcoin will be like. It can be down to $1k or up $25k. But I think it will fluctuate at 8-10k on a few months I agree then after 2 to 3 months the price of bitcoin will increase more, this is just my prediction and i am not sure but i think bitcoin price will increase more after a few months. |

Winners never quit, You just need to be strategic in your approach, Most of the ICO I invested in December-January did not do well, a friend just encourage me not to give up base on his experience. Do not invest base on the number of followers on telegram or social media.
He probably one of the newbies who was hype and its understandable if he feels like quitting. But as what you said most of the ICO are not doing well at that time range because of the dip and I think this is normal. Well many newbies are feel to quit and some of their reason is they lose their money ,but if you really learned about the ICO and you will know how to be a strategic. It is secure as investments is happened through smart contracts but you know how many people lost their money to scammers when investing in ico.

Good or bad publicity is still publicity,even how hard you do this things to this coin it will always recover because people learned how this can benefits them and any way,but ofcourse preferably financially.. It is not your fault because yoy can never predict easily the future and also you cannot see the future you never knew that those one can pump and the one you hold it might never pump at all
Sometimes our prediction is wrong, there is no guarantee that we will be profitable all the time and no way we can always invest in profitable coin. If you hold, you should accept the risk of losing as well, so invest what you can only afford. Yeah I agree, everytime we hold a coin we need to face the risk even if we hold or do a trading, because not all prediction are happen and not all we want will happen so don't expect too much because there is no permanent in crypto ,it's either we lose or we earn profit. |

Well you can invest with bitcoin if you have atleast $9500, and when you have that amount of money make sure that after you invest your money, you should hold you bitcoin for long time or hold it until the price will reach $30k. Even the op don't have $9500 she/he can invest in bitcoin, I mean we don't need the exact amount because even in small amount we can invest in bitcoin but ofcourse if you invest a small amount your profit is small too. But it's ok because sometimes we need to start with small capital. |

trading is very easy, you need only have USD balance after that you can buy as much bitcoin as you can, you can also buy bitcoin directly in coinbase or blockchain.info, after buy bitcoin then you can do altcoin trading, so trading actually very easy and fun. I guess trading is only easy for those expert, but if you're just a newbie on it I think trading is never be easy. In the first place you should know first about the coin you wanna buy because not all coin will give you a big profit. You need to choose which is the best coin that can give you profit. |

I can say sometimes we just need to wait. I experience to hold a token not a coin, and I will say that I already get profit after how many months not just 2 months. But the most important here is even we wait for how long ,as long as we earn profit we don't need to worry, but if you didn't get any profit? Maybe you should try other coin. |
