201  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: February 18, 2016, 11:38:56 AM

Smiley

I think the scammers are happier now that the bitcoins that they stole is steadily climbing. It's up to them whether they sell them all at the same time or hold on to it further.

Guess they should keep it for some time first. It's not their money anyways. Sana nga talaga magtuloytuloy na akyat.
202  Other / Archival / Re: Negative trust... But really? on: February 18, 2016, 11:34:34 AM
Some people don't like that kind of jokes. Bad luck bro.
I'll start trying some loans, then. Just part of life Smiley. I've had worse times before. Not going to let this put me down ^^

Haha. Now that's the spirit. Just get yourself up and avoid that mean posts and topics..
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] safecex.com - yet another anonymous cryptocoin exchange on: February 18, 2016, 11:33:28 AM
Nice. I've been hearing a lot of good comments regarding this site here. Awesome, you guys are doing a great job. But may i just say, safecex, really sounds safesex. Haha. Sorry, just noticed.
204  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Why bitcoin hashrate significantly decreased since 13feb2016 on: February 18, 2016, 11:30:19 AM
maybe the halfing?
or maybe a few farms had a dispute or legal issues. I dont think its possible for anything we think to be above speculation

I'm guessing the very same thing thinking this is perhaps due to the halving.
205  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2016, 12:58:16 PM
I'm all up for this year of Bitcoin thing. I think it wouldn't actually hurt to get your hopes this high up with Bitcoins. Smiley
206  Other / Meta / Re: Hacking services - Allowed ? on: February 17, 2016, 12:55:49 PM
I believe cracking services might be prohibited as mods are getting pretty strict on anything suspicious of being illegal(not scammy, just illegal, example carding)

Yep. Guess you could lose your account immediately if they caught you doing this. This site will simply try to keep themselves from getting attached to any controversies.
207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns for newbies. on: February 17, 2016, 12:53:52 PM
My suggestion to you wait for some time and keep posting creative and constructive posts. when you ranked to Jr.member, you can easily participate on yobit's signature campaign.
nope it was too long and wasting time. you can take a short road to buy an account at auction section, and start earning

Yea, that would be one way to do it. There's a lot out there who are selling their own accounts. Buy them and in not time you will already have your investment.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to convert BTC in real cash on: February 17, 2016, 12:33:20 PM
There's a lot of trading sites and online currency exchange sites nowadays that are very trustworthy. Actually I believe there are a lot of domestic sites for this. Manila on one instance has "coins.ph".
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your predictions for 2016 on: February 17, 2016, 12:18:54 PM
My prediction for 2016 is pretty good for the bitcoins, it has real potential also its the time for it to rise. The price will increase for sure because of the halving that is coming this year.

I'm all for the same thing. 2016 to me really could be this "year of Bitcoin" everyone is rooting for.

there a bit of a problem with this... when will the coins be funded or the 1 BTC be send...? safest way to do it when all buyers received their coin, but if they do open it as soon as they have it and make the address public before the 1 BTC is send... the trusted party could send the BTC to a certain buyer.... this way it is not 100% transparant/fair.
The money would be send as soon as the distributor says so, which is indeed a risk. Track&Trace could be used to check the progress of a coin and once it hits a certain stage it should be funded?

Quote
also, two persons that have seen the private keys is less secure/safe.
True, but you already have to trust the distributor (gravitate) and a trusted third party should be just that. Trusted. I see the issue though.

Trust - guess there is also a way to help validate things online. SecurID etc indeed will seem to work the trick.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if we sit at $310-$340 for 2 more years? on: February 17, 2016, 12:15:15 PM
Nope will not happens, maybe bitcoin price could stuck between 310-340$ for the next few days/weeks but not for 2 years.
In my opinion we will see a change (up or down) in the middle of December

Good projection - i have a gut feel about the same thing. A significant change by December.
212  Economy / Goods / Re: Used panties for sale on: February 17, 2016, 12:13:49 PM
If that's the case, it's important to have them "worn and signed".
Hahahaha! Lol on this.
213  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stop with these topics on: February 17, 2016, 11:23:52 AM
Topics like "why do atheists hate christians","why do atheists hate religious people", etc..  should stop. I mean, I don't know about the rest of you but topics like these are stupid regarding the religious hate, and people who are seriously starting these, no one really "hates" anyone just because of their  religion. I mean, that's my opinion and view on it nad seriously hating someone because of his religion is stupid. There are a lot of muslim guys that I know that are completely ok and some orthodox christians that are on the edge of grabbing a sword and running around killing people. So please, stop with that shitposting.

It's our God-given right to have these topics! Stop discrimination again religiously-challenged topics/people!

Guess it can't really be helped having these topics around. So guess it would best be just to ignore them if you are not into it.

But then again, noone can really blame you for this hate post.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 17, 2016, 11:08:29 AM
Its not easy to stop but its all in your head, The most people need to find professional help.
Also they can speak with a relative about it so they know it and can do something about it.
It's like to quit smoking. It's not really hard in itself.
It's all about your will and your personal situation.

Exactly like quitting smoking. It sounds simple but it would never really be that easy. You can always hear them telling you should divert your attention to other things - and this is actually important. Wink

216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: a more personal opinion on: February 17, 2016, 09:15:32 AM
Most people consider Buddhism to be a philosophy rather than a religion...

Buddhism does not require belief in any specific god, nor does it condone belief in a diety

Buddhism has no sacred texts requiring you to murder heathens/unbelievers...

I'd say it's much less dangerous than religions, and has some interesting texts which can be interpreted on various levels...

Unlike religion, which condemns critical thinking in lieu of faith... Buddhism encourages thinking and reasoning

Mostly harmless, but probably does not have the answers you are looking for

Seconded this.. It actually doesnt matter now whether it's that wrong or not - Buddhism as a religion. But if you think about it, just as long as they are not harming anyone, i think they are safe..
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: The falling is now. Sell everything. Mike Hearn has killed the bitcoin on: February 17, 2016, 09:09:33 AM
he didn't he just created massive panic, but price are ok right now again, stabilized, so you can sell/buy them without fear now

Guess you should just hold on to it some more. Dont panic if the price has dropped. Just stick to the game plan.

I am sorry to hear that but it's not an exception. We just had Cryptsy that has/had communication problems. I myself have had bad experiences with C-Cex and will never move a coin to them anymore.
For now I am very happy with Yobit and the service they provide just like I was with Cryptsy, C-Cex, Polo, Mintpal and all the others.

This is excactly why I am in favour for a decentralised exchange and why I have offered Griffith 10K USD to make it in 2014. However it's not easy to make it because you need to have control over the coins that are in your wallet to guarantee the buy and sell orders that you make.
But it would be nice to have your own little part of a world wide exchange on your own computer....I love the idea
[/quote]

Yea, I have to say sorry to hear what went on. But for what it's worth, I am also using Yobit for sometime and their service is really good and working out fast for me ever since.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: VERY NICE MOMENT TO BUY. DONT MISS on: February 17, 2016, 09:05:01 AM
hoard away your own share of the deal! good time to buy indeed!
220  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Does anyone here go to Bitcoin Meetups? on: February 16, 2016, 01:46:51 PM
It would really be nice to go. But then again, to me, it feels weird to see people you have only talked with online.
