Actually Global Warming has been already renamed Climate Change, because people who were freezing in exceptionally cold winters wouldn't really believe it. Smiley

Love it! Now that is comedy  Grin Why am i never the one coming up with such good lines  Undecided
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Digital Money Bits (DMB) Mandatory update to version 1.5 on: November 14, 2017, 01:00:32 PM
Hi all, we have DMB at the price of 3000 satoshi. we feel sad to see the DMB condition like this. Sounds good, i have a few DMBs i would like to unload for 3000sat per DMB Smiley It is indeed sad to see DMB like this, but hey it was a scam along right?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Once the Fork's finished, Price going higher for ETH? on: November 08, 2017, 07:38:19 PM
But second fork is canceled so ethereum price growing now. You know about it?

It is? I don't know about that..... will read up asap.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Once the Fork's finished, Price going higher for ETH? on: November 08, 2017, 07:37:36 PM
Once we done with the fork, do you guys expect a rise in price for ETH besides other alts?
Technical-wise, it's going into a triangle formation. With the on-going demand in ICO, I have a feeling hat ETH will break out upwards after the fork's done.
What's your take? Smiley

I think your right. The upcoming bitcoin fork is of course doing nothing good to any other coin. All users jumping to get as much coin in the bitcoin wallet as possible. Which we see on the Bitcoin price as well. Going straight for the moon. It will all end once the fork happens., i think
The Parity wallet bug might also affect the ETH price a little more long term. For better of worse.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 08, 2017, 07:24:45 PM
I don't think paper money will go into extinction too. As what most of you have pointed out, it is, at this point, more disadvantageous if it is completely removed from circulation.  Bitcoins and the likes of cashless transactions are more convenient in so many ways but there is still beauty to an actual paper money especially for those who do not have the means to trade electronically.
That's why that could be only in long time future cause whole world should know how to work with internet and this type of currency.

Why should the whole world know how to use the internet and “x” kind of currency?

Local currency works pretty fine for a local group of people, and has done so for 1000s of year. Certainly the world did not need to be able to use Greek dinars, German marks, when they were around, or Australian dollars or Swedish crowns, in order for it to function for a select group of people.

Physical paper cash will more or less be gone in all Nordic countries within 10 years. It’s a fact. The digital delivering method for cash, namely credit card or Mobil pay, will be the dominating transaction method by then. In 1990 in Denmark 60% of all transactions was with paper cash. In 2015 only 20% of all transactions was with paper cash.

207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 08, 2017, 09:48:05 AM
We can never say if bitcoin will end or not or what the future holds for bitcoin. But with bitcoin's popularity and increasing value and nymber of investors, i can't see the end of bitcoin anytime soon. So long as more and more investors come in and its technology continues to improve, i believe bitcoin will continue to exist.

I too believe it will exist for many years to come. However another coin, with completely another technology, will have to take the lead in order for to become a serious competition to the ease and speed of cash and credit cards. Bitcoin is too slow (transaction / confirmation) and to expensive (fee) as it is right now.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit coin Transaction on: November 08, 2017, 09:31:27 AM
Ini my opinion all transactions have a cost, only one comfermation per successful transaction, the transaction costs for the miners that make the transaction connect to recever so that the higher the transaction cost easier and faster. bitcon transactions are applied as incentives for bitcoin miners.

This will surely be the future, as block reward gets lower and lower. Right now you get 12,5 btc for a block, while on average a block contains 2000 transaction, at a current average 4$ fee per transaction (in the beginning of 2017 it was just 0,5$). So while a miner gets about 8000$ from fee per block, he still get 90.000$ for the block itself. The incentives for miners are by far still the block reward itself.

Where is everybody? Coin is dead or what?
This coin has been dead for about 4 month. I dont know why people dont read the thread. It has been explained many times Here. The system / chain fuckup about a month into its life, spit out tons of coins, which was dumped. Why this coin still is traded is beyond me🤔. The dev is on ibiza sipping pina-colada.

I think no. In my country each year become colder  Grin Grin
Or that is the global warming too?

Where is your country located? I don't think that any of the global regions have experienced an average decrease in temperatures for the last few decades. The temperatures are rising everywhere, and the effect is more disproportionate in the polar regions. Your country might have experienced a temporary dip in the temperatures during the winter season. But that may be an anomaly.

Here it’s cold all year long. I don’t think we even had a summer this year. About 14 day in the month of May, may have been the top of the summer, if I remember correct. The rest is just preparing for winter.

We need more global warming to get a decent summer here!  Grin
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: November 01, 2017, 07:16:48 PM
A little question. I didn't catch the trick

The new rules says : Equivalent onion = factor X onions in your account.

So if I have only 1000 onions for exemple, how could I get per airdrop ?

Well over at the Deep Onion forum, there are posts that will explain math of it. As far as I understand it, as a thumb rule, you can count at about 10% of your Deep Onion holdings.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 01, 2017, 05:15:06 PM
cash is the identity of a country, so in my opinion, eliminate the cash means eliminating one of the identity of the country.

Might be true when eliminating cash altogether, but I don’t believe so. Many countries in the euro-zone has abandoned their former national currency and change to the Euro. Some problem free, some not so. But their national identity has not disappeared.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 01, 2017, 11:27:41 AM
20k $ not surprise me  Grin

20K is by far not enough. It will reach 10K within 1.feb 2018, and 20K by the end of 2018.
By the end of 2022 it will pass 50K, easy. Mark my words  Grin
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 31, 2017, 04:31:55 PM
I agree that bitcoin can be a great alternative to cash, but as it is now (the technology) it has no chance to substitute cash. It is simply too slow, too expensive and you cannot pay small amounts without getting killed by fee.

Imagine I take the kids for an ice and soda one hot summer day at the beach. Not only can I not buy just 4 ice and soda, without fee at least doubling the amount, I need to buy 50 to make it worthwhile, I also have to wait for some miner to mine a block in order for the shop to confirm my payment – and that only if I really kicked the fee up, or else I might wait 2-5-20-100 blocks.

You need instant transaction / confirmation, zero or close to zero fee and physical light mass / volume. Such alternative already existed to physical cash, its called credit card or Mobil pay.

Envision I take the children for an ice and pop one sweltering summer day at the shoreline. Not exclusively would i be able to not purchase only 4 ice and pop, without charge in any event multiplying the sum, I have to purchase 50 to make it advantageous, I likewise need to sit tight for some digger to mine a piece all together for the shop to affirm my installment – and that lone on the off chance that I truly kicked the expense up, or else I may hold up 2-5-20-100 squares.

Now that is comedy  Cheesy  Cheesy  Sometimes wording must sound very weird in the crypto world. I imagine something like listen to Dutch or Platt-German. Good one Cheesy
215  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 31, 2017, 10:52:32 AM
Global Warming is real!
but its not human made, we got glacial & interglacial periods thats it and that what it have been 1000 of years ago.

Natural processes take tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years. What you are talking about happened many tens of thousands of years ago and the average temperature rise was like 0.001 degree Celsius per year. But look at what is happening now. The average temperatures have risen by 1 degree during the last 40 years, meaning a rise of 0.025 degree per year.

Not everything take this long!
The Little ice age, the Medieval warm period, and the Roman climatic optimum, all happend in the space of a few 100 years.
None of them came from increase in CO2 levels. So what caused this warming or cooling?

Climate changes with or without humans participating. Are they participating (hugely) this time? Maybe?

Bitcoin is not  just a replacement for cash but it is also a great revolution in the economy transfer system as it will change the thinking of people who use it about paying and earning money. Bitcoin payment  methods can be more fast and convenient  and also secure than a cash payment mods as it is a digital currency it has many plus points over the real cash which we use.

I will be difficult to change whole system and only use digital currency it is mostly impossible i think but bitcoin can be used as an alternative to this some times

I'm not impressed. When two neutron stars collide and produce a stash of bitcoin, then I'll be impressed.

Cheesy Cheesy that was exactly what I was think reading the first post. Dammit I’m too late posting such good comments.

Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
I think it will probably goes into a digital chaos on the internet if this will imply on any country also hackers will be more active than other time because they want to test their skills and more cybercrimes and attack will be more than ever . This idea will probbaly an absurd one because how they will build the securing and safe measures out of it.

The technology for digital currency is no match for the ease and speed of cash. We need completely different thinking of the technology if digital currency should rival cash.

The article is not about changing to digital currency, it’s about changing to digital delivering method of paper money, namely credit cards and Mobil pay. This will happen within a few years in all Nordic countries and has already been underway for 10+ years.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 23, 2017, 03:46:17 PM
In my opinion, the abolition of cash is a bad idea that will only disrupt the economic system of a country. Because not all transactions can use crypto currency, and people can not fully access the digital money system (Bitcoin). There are many obstacles to migrating from fiat money to crypto money.

Certainly it’s difficult going from cash to crypto currency, and I see no crypto technology (as of now) capable of competing, even remotely, with the speed and ease of cash.  The article is also not about that. It’s about dropping physical cash, and using digital delivering of cash instead, namely credit card and Mobil pay (and net bank). All of these payment methods already (for years) have surpassed physical cash in volume in everyday usage in the Nordic countries.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble that is just waiting to pop? 6000/8000!! really? on: October 23, 2017, 08:04:21 AM
Just asked at work what they think BTC will be in exactly one year. They thought about 7500$, I think 25.000$. I believe BTC is a bubble but it is just the beginning of the bubble. It will eventually burst (maybe years from now), and run completely out. BTC is not suited for retail, too slow, too expensive (fee). Some other coin, with a technology that can rival the ease and speed of credit cards and cash, will emerge and win the day. When….. now that is the million $ question.
