201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 21, 2018, 08:18:11 PM
I've contacted local stores to see if they would accept it no response from any of the stores I have contacted yet.
They probaly thought you were joking.
The most common response I get is "What is Bitcoin?". We should start a campaign to tell more people how bitcoin works!
I do agree with you. Some of us are found in areas where you find people staring at you like an alien whenever you mention bitcoin. I also think we need to first bring bitcoin and it’s prospects to the door steps of such people. If we are able to build a great community of bitcoin users, they will join forces with us to convince bigger companies to accept bitcoin as a method of payments.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the true believers of Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 09:04:21 AM
I think you should rather direct your statement to those who are new in the system and those who know not much about bitcoin. A bitcoin believer would definitely not panic at a drop in price. Those you refer to as true bitcoin believers have seen, witnessed and experienced this kind of situation several times and therefore do not necessarily need to be told not to panic.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no more hope in cryptocurrency on: November 21, 2018, 08:53:57 AM
It's the end
Besides price what else do you know about crypto currencies? The current price is very discouraging but we should not focus much on it. There is more to crypto currencies other than the price. If you are in to make quick profits then you may have to wait until the right time. Don’t just give up yet.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 20, 2018, 02:37:18 AM
Welcome, I do not see you late. You have only joined at a time when the market is bad and this doesn’t mean you are late. You may have an enough time to study and perfect yourself in whatever activity you want to undertake to earn cryptos. For instance if you want to be a bounty hunter, you can improve upon your posts, probably earn merit for good and quality posts and have your rank increasesed gradually. Welcome once again and don’t feel bad because you are never late. After all others are yet to get into cryptos.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: November 20, 2018, 02:27:49 AM

The crypto market is relatively a small market and the coins shows high correlation with the market leader BTC.
BTC is dominating the market and when BTC crashes it is not a good thing for the entire market as it usually
crashes even further.
The performance of altcoins seems directly proportional to that of bitcoin and as a result of that, almost all altcoins get a significant change whenever bitcoin price changes, either positively or negatively. This makes me wonder why it is always so
206  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 19, 2018, 09:12:03 AM
For the price fluctuations Amazon may decide to take the risk in accepting bitcoin payments. The main problem will be with the customers. I once saw my transaction take close to 24 hours before it got confirmed. Until this issue is solved, many customers will not enjoy the service well even if Amazon decides to accept bitcoin.
207  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: November 19, 2018, 09:01:18 AM
in my opinion it takes a long time to be able to change using digital currency transactions, maybe it's better to use both, because not all state governments agree to use cryptocurrency.
You are right, for a total takeover, I see that as a “mission impossible”. All I expect is that the two forms of currencies be used together in the system. It should take the user to decide which form of currency to use at what time.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]SATT -🔥THE NEW ERA OF ADVERTISING🔥- PURCHASE GUARANTEE ! on: November 17, 2018, 12:00:04 AM
The SaTT team is actually working hard on the project. I admire your die hard attitude. I hope we realize our target very soon.  Thank you for hardworking attitude and may it pay you off. Best regards to team behind SaTT
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 16, 2018, 09:59:59 PM
A friend of mine got employed just last week and in addition to his certificates and personal records, a bank account was also required. He got to the bank to create an account only to be told that it will take a minimum of 3 days for the account to be ready. That was when I realized that bitcoin accounts and wallets unlike bank accounts can be created instantly at any point.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: November 16, 2018, 08:25:07 PM
Bitcoin may look scary to us the somehow early adopters but fortunately for our descendants, they would in the future have us to educate them about bitcoin thus it wouldn’t be alien to them like it is to most of us today. I’m bitcoin will be a normal thing in the days to come.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Target Market of Bitcoin on: November 16, 2018, 07:58:18 AM
There is no discrimination when it comes to the use of bitcoin. Therefore anyone who is interested in bitcoin can start using it. Bitcoin is a currency and it is meant for everyone but not a selected community. Everyone falls within the target market
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC currency unit is too complicated to accepted widely. on: November 15, 2018, 11:12:55 PM
one can decide to go roughly with the satoshis if the decimal points present a problem for his/her understanding. For instance instead of saying or writing 0.00002300BTC, one can easily say 2300 Satoshis. It’s all about getting the concept that a hundred million Satoshis make one bitcoin.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the currency of our future? on: November 15, 2018, 08:57:42 PM
It has all the features and potentially stands a greater chance to be a currency for the future probably not our generation. The only thing that will hinder bitcoin from becoming a future currency to be used widely without constraints is its volatility. No one would like to own $1000 today and wake up to meet $700 in his wallet. This will suck so bad. Besides that I think the other characteristics of bitcoin can be adjusted to be widely used a number one world digital currency.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: November 15, 2018, 07:10:02 AM
Unless I am mistaken, my answer to your question is simple. The ATM machine serves as an exchanger. You go there to convert your bitcoin in fiat. It doesn’t necessarily mean you are taking notes of bitcoin. You only get the local notes for your bitcoin.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future payment methods of bitcoin and crypto on: November 14, 2018, 11:16:22 PM
Most of us are ready and willing to accept and use bitcoin our mode of payments but what troubles me is the fact that just a few people have heard about bitcoin. I am educating as many as I can and I hope very soon they will be all be willing to use and accept bitcoin. I know it won’t be easy but I am sure we will definitely get to that era where bitcoin usage will grow.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: November 14, 2018, 08:03:01 AM
I do not know the number of people who know about and use bitcoin in your country. But generally I do not think and will hardly agree that bitcoin will ever be a threat to national currencies. In the worse case, I see them to coexist with one another depending on the users. In my country for instance a lot of people can neither read nor write. So how will they exist use bitcoin.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 14, 2018, 07:50:36 AM
While volatility will help traders make a lot of profits, it will keep a lot of people too away from using bitcoin. If we want it to be used frequently by people’s as a mode of transaction then I think it needs to be stable to gain such a trust from the entire public. I want to to be stable so that everyone can use it without fear or panic.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when bitcoin becomes stable? on: November 12, 2018, 05:05:05 PM
Stability for bitcoin is what most of us are wishing for but I do not think we are anywhere closer to that state yet. I want bitcoin to be stable so as to make trading and other crypto related activities easy. Stability will also make bitcoin gain more trust thus an increased number of users.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be replace by ALTS in the future? on: November 12, 2018, 10:03:12 AM
I totally see this as an impossible mission for altcoins. If you asked me why they are growing stronger day in and day out, I would simply say it’s because there is a strong coin in the market in the name of bitcoin to which they (altcoins) make reference to. Most of these altcoins have one or more things in common with bitcoin. So I think altcoins will still remain under bitcoin.
220  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: November 12, 2018, 08:35:33 AM
Payment with bitcoin is really amazing. The first time I paid for something with bitcoin was when I bought my ledger nano S. I am in Africa but I was able to pay for a product in France within the click of a button on my computer. I wish we have the chance to be use ibt bitcoin for our daily transactions
