201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: November 20, 2017, 12:21:47 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

The thing that they are afraid of is that, they thought of it as a scam or something that is governized by terrorists. But they are wrong. They can't take the risk of earning because they are afraid of something new. They are afraid of technology-driven money.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: November 19, 2017, 04:56:12 PM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

The best time to buy bitcoin is when its price is low. So that you can earn more. The problem is that bitcoin's price is on its peak. So the right time is now. Because maybe tomorrow bitcoin's price will be doubled, take this opportunity to buy bitcoin.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: November 18, 2017, 11:40:28 PM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

It is very possible that there is a millionaire because if bitcoin. Bitcoin can make you earn money. If you start bitcoin from the very start when its is $10 then you invest on it, you can really earn and maybe you became a millionaire right now.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 03:50:22 PM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
I have first heard it from my classmate who starts earning like a worker. I was so curious on earning. They always talk about bitcoin and earning money through internet. I ask them how to do it. They teach me about it and that is how I started from bitcoin.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 18, 2017, 02:19:47 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Yes. There is always a risk on investing. But in bitcoin if you take the risk there is a big chance that you will earn than losing your money. For me, don't turn all your money. Secure your money don't get to risky. Maybe about 80% you invest on bitcoin.
206  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: November 18, 2017, 06:25:25 AM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??
Bitcoin is very popular yet the security is a thing to be questioned. Is the users are secured from transactions? Maybe terrorist can use this and others can use this as a scam. Also, its price stability is very hard to predict. Sometimes there is a great rise and after great roll back.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 18, 2017, 05:23:10 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
It is better to invest money. Why? Because if you invest there is a big chance that you will earn. If you save your money will be socked at is. You will not earn. You just hide it. If you invest your money will grow.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 03:55:18 AM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
It is true that there are many altcoins that is born today. The problem with those altcoins sometimes are unreliable. To find a reliable altcoin you should take a risk on those who are low price but then instantly jump to x4, every week. While bitcoin and ethereum cannot make.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: November 18, 2017, 02:47:41 AM
Why use Bitcoins ?

I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?

-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.

I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.

I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.
Why? It is because it is affordable and very easy to operate. Trading, selling and investing. It is a great way to earn money. With bitcoin you can have your own bank in your gadget through your wallet. You can earn while sleeping. It is a very good way to earn. So why don't you choose bitcoin?
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: November 17, 2017, 02:37:19 PM
Can bitcoin be the world's currency?
Yes it would be possible if it will be supported by central banks and the government. As soon it will take time to be supported by government and continuously increase on its price and stability. It is not possible for bitcoin to overcome other currencies.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 16, 2017, 04:13:00 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
I do agree in your thoughts about choosing bitcoin. I would like to add that with bitcoin, cashless society can be possible. You didn't need to carry money every time you want to go shopping. Lessen the stress on pulling out money from your wallet that can alarm the eyes of the criminals. Bitcoin is more easy to earn than real money.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 07:28:15 AM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh
The reason behind this is that because bitcoin's price for now is very high. If you own bitcoin you will regret if the price of bitcoin rose up but you've sold it in low price. Bitcoin's price is pumping up so that many holders didn't want to lose this chance for their money to grow.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: November 16, 2017, 04:33:09 AM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !

No more thing to be added with all these points. As a user, bitcoin is very affordable and easy to trade. You can be rich without going out on your home. You can be a millionaire even you don't to do effort outside your house. Day and night, where ever you are you can use bitcoin.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2017, 04:46:02 AM
Bitcoin has been awesome and will always be awesome. We, who have been involved in Bitcoin since the very early days understand this very well. However, for the laymen, for the people who don't really understand the technical aspects of Bitcoin or those who only watch the mainstream media are skeptic about Bitcoin. Since, all they hear in the News is how Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities and how it offers complete anonymity (common misconception) to people to do what they need on Internet.

Have you ever convinced or encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin and did you have success? Of course, since we know that we are giving a good advice, so we would usually advice our own family members or friends about this.

In the past few months, I encouraged some of my friends to invest in Bitcoin. They had a lot of questions about it from technical perspective and I helped them understand. They invested in Bitcoin and are very happy with the returns. And now this information propagates and more people will get involved in Bitcoin.

In my humble opinion, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we can help understand people the positive aspects of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.

What are the most common responses you get from laymen about investing in Bitcoin?

Some popular ones I receive are:

1. "Oh, it's already too expensive, I cannot afford to buy it."
2. "The governments don't regulate it, why should I invest in it?"
3. "It's an illegal currency and only cyber criminals use it."
4. "What backs up Bitcoin? For example US Dollar is backed by Trust (all time favorite response Cheesy), but what backs up Bitcoin?"
5. "The market is way too volatile to invest."
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."

I have convinced someone to use or invest to bitcoin than in banking. But then they chose to invest in bank. As they said to me that, "That would be a scam and my money can't grow." But as I get my money in bitcoin they were shocked and ask me how to invest on it.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 09, 2017, 12:03:37 AM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

With this issue and innovation, it is not impossible for cryptocurrency to overpower cash. As technology rises the possibility of erasing cash to our society is very high. And also there are many investors and large businessmen pursue to the satisfaction of cashless society. Extinction of cash money is possible.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: November 08, 2017, 11:21:22 PM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?

Bitcoin's price is very high for today. If you buy bitcoin in the past, you can be a millionaire now. As a small time bitcoin user, I tend to invest and hold. I invest to ICOs and altcoins in order to earn bitcoin. It takes time but it is worth it. Then also I hold it, because I do believe that its price will go higher than it.
217  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 08, 2017, 09:58:24 PM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Yes that's true. Gambling deals with betting. In bitcoin you didn't bet. You invest and trade. As you invest you earn. But you will not earn if you didn't invest. It is not gambling because you didn't bet, you just invest.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 04, 2017, 05:04:17 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

It is very amazing. I stopped using bitcoin for a while. The price then is about 4000$ as I remember. Then I hodl my btc there while getting busy in other things. As I start again, I saw something amazing on my btc wallet. My money expands 4x. I was so shocked. I motivate people to invest to bitcoin. They should start it as its price goes up.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 01, 2017, 02:11:05 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?

If I will receive for my payment I will wait for it grow even higher before cashing it out. If I were to spend it, I prefer not to spend it all. I will save a part for it for future expenditures and I want to make it grow. So if I were you I will wait for the increasing price of BTC.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: September 01, 2017, 10:01:00 AM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

As a bitcoin user, I prefer to store my bitcoin than spending it all out. How do I store my bitcoin? I store my bitcoin on a wallet on my smart phone. I save it there and then daily or hourly I notify myself on how much did bitcoin cost. And also, see if my money goes up or down.
