201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2015, 03:29:40 AM
I have tried almost everything: Trying to gamble, trying to daytrade, trying to buy alts long term and hope for the best... nothing as worked compared to just having a job and buying some BTC monthly. Thanks to this, im making a modest but nice portfolio. Everything else is too much luck involved.

Yes that is definitely the fastest and easiest way to grow your Bitcoins. Getting a job and separating 10 to 20% of your earnings to invest it on Bitcoin is a clever idea. Besides, after doing this you will earn much when the next halving comes and the price goes up. This would be the best interest rate when compared to banks. You would grow your Bitcoins and your profits if you do this. Also, if you take advantage of Bitcoin's price volatility, you can certainly make them grow. Just sharing my opinion.  Cheesy

Yeah that is right, keep on earning or buying bitcoins and keep it safe for the future as the price of bitcoins is surely gonna reach to a next level in the coming months and when you feel that you are making profits sell part of your bitcoins and rest keep it for future and rebuy when the price falls down as we all know that bitcoin is too volatile so why not to take advantage of volatility.
202  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 30, 2015, 03:21:02 AM
My GF bought me beer and burger the other day at room77. Quite geeky, a? : )

Nice !! I'd love to find a btc accepting bar near my location Smiley

Wow that would be the best thing to have that paying for beer in bitcoins, awesome...and yes girls do use bitcoins as girls are also very tech friendly nowadays and they want to learn something new and that is the best thing if we have more girls in our community that means we have higher adoption level and at present the girls are more active then boys when it comes to innovation and technology.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 30, 2015, 03:09:54 AM
yes, bitcoin is real money to me. though i do not use it in real life, i use it exclusively on the internet, still real to me.

Yes and if bitcoin is offering you by which you can buy any damn thing that it becomes real for you, as the country where I live in I dont have that opportunity to buy any physical product as I mainly use it for online purchase or transfers as here there are no physical shops who accepts bitcoins and that is the sadest thing to have but in future I hope that the things will change and we would be having shops that accepts bitcoins.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 30, 2015, 03:05:48 AM
I bought around 10$ when it was ~320$
Lost it all through gambling though. (sadly)
Could have been ~12$ today, so not a huge deal. I wish I bought more though (and not gamble it)

Do not gamble mate, even I lost almost all my bitcoins in gambling but we need to learn from our mistakes, I bought my first bitcoin when it was around $220 so at present I am enjoying the profits but I am holding it as I am very much sure that the price of bitcoins would be much higher in the coming months so it is better to store bitcoins in cold storage and sell it when the right time arrives.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin become obsolete? on: December 30, 2015, 03:02:35 AM
To ask when you believe Bitcoin will be obsolete is almost like saying you feel that it will die eventually. I don't understand being part of a community that works in Bitcoin to doubt it. I am sure it will be vigorous and strong to not die anytime soon but with the way Bitcoin is viewed it will be hard to stick around, I am sure. We just have to figure it out and make it strong.

Yes bitcoin will survive for sure no doubt it will face competition from new currencies entering into market but bitcoin would be always on top when it comes to crypto and no other crypto can take place or replace bitcoins and that is for sure as at a moment there are altcoins, dogecoins etc but the market cap of bitcoins is much more higher and wider as compared to this I believe that the same scenario would be in future too.
206  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate womens to use Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2015, 02:51:09 AM
What has gender got to do with anything

We are not talking about the gender but yes if women will start using bitcoins then it would directly contribute to the adoption rate of bitcoin community and yes gender really matters, as at present we believe that only men are using bitcoins but if bitcoins get support from women across the globe just imagine where the bitcoin community would reach so we want that women should also start using bitcoins.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin better that fiat? on: December 30, 2015, 02:47:56 AM
Fiat is good for daily real life transaction.
When it comes to online payments, bitcoin is the answer & solution to all of our problems.
Fast, anonymous and cost-efficiënt.

Very well said mate, Fiat can is useful to take care of your basic needs and also depends on in which country you are living as many of them are not aware about the bitcoins so accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment in that country would be something out of the reach, and when it comes to online purchases or online transfers I believe that bitcoin is the best as compared to paypal or western union.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: December 30, 2015, 02:42:05 AM
Really it is a must we inform the people and give him the tools, too i think we should send emails to all company asking for acept btc for  buy their goods and services, we should too to sponsorize some high level sport-man, it would bring millions of possible users, it would be really nice

Yeah but the problem is that if we are holding bitcoins then we don't want that others should also have bitcoins in their wallet, and that is human nature or human behavior, at one end we say that the adoption level should be high and at other end we don't want others to know our secret that how we are earning bitcoins and we really don't want them to know about bitcoins so its a big question mark I guess.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 30, 2015, 02:37:58 AM
Yes I am. I have some that I'm holding for price increase. Right now though, I am noticing that the price is dropping so this is the time to sell and recollect later.

Yes the price is going higher at a moment no doubt it is much more stable at present as compared to the past but I am sure it would be reaching to a new level in the coming months so at present holding the bitcoins is the best thing to do as you would surely earn some profits in the year 2016 as the experts have said that the value of bitcoins would cross $550 in coming months and I am holding my bitcoins for the same.
210  Other / Off-topic / Re: The maximum bitcoin you have in total till now on: December 30, 2015, 02:34:42 AM
maybe when calculated count I've got bitcoin more than 5~ BTC, I get 4 years till now
and I lost to more than 0.5 BTC in gambling and ponzi scam

Yeah everyone of us have been cheated in ponzi schemes as we want to multiply our bitcoins in a quick time and the greedy nature of human comes into play at that time, and once you become greedy no one can stop you and at the end of the day you don't have anything in your wallet, even I have lost my bitcoins in gambling as I want to earn quick and ended up loosing everything.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 30, 2015, 02:31:19 AM
I think the future has to do a lot with automation. I can expect automated machines being paid in Bitcoin and delivered good and services all automatically, like drones that receive a Bitcoin payment ant travel to someone's house with your dinner or something.

Future of bitcoins is bright but what you are saying will take a long time and I wish that what you are saying should become true in quick time but you cannot run away from the reality and you have to accept it and the reality is that majority of the population is not aware about the bitcoins, even if they have heard about bitcoins they haven't used it or tried to earn it and that is the biggest disadvantage with bitcoins.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: December 30, 2015, 02:27:13 AM
Bitcoin is legal in most countries, but some communist or undemocratic countries do not prove bitcoin as a currency. They fear the damage it will do to their economy rather than good.

That's correct, bitcoin is legal if you use it legally and it is illegal if you use it for illegal things like gambling or drugs, as drugs and gambling are prohibited in many countries so it is totally individual choice like where they want to use their bitcoins either for good or for bad activities, the government of the countries will never support bitcoins as they consider it as a threat to the banking system.
213  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 30, 2015, 02:22:49 AM
Unfortunately not yet... Hopefully in a month or so I can get 1 BTC +.

That's the good amount to hold and keep it safe for the future as if the value of bitcoins reaches the moon even 1 btc can make a lot of difference in your financial status, I am having less then 1 btc but surely by next month I would be holding much more than 1 btc and that is my dream to have more then 1 btc in my digital wallet which I can keep safe for the future.
214  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: December 28, 2015, 08:50:23 PM
I would sell all of mine if... I knew for a fact their value would be dropping shortly thereafter and I could buy more.

but the sad truth is that we dont know about the future. if i know it too, i would do the same thing too.

Yeah future is uncertain and we don't know what bitcoin holds us for the future, but selling all your bitcoins would be silly thing to do, as you cannot afford to sell all your bitcoins at a single moment, it is better to sell part of bitcoins and earn profits and keep rest for the future and if the price falls down you can still afford to buy more bitcoins and wait for the price hike and that is the best way to deal with bitcoins.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 08:47:10 PM
People should start using bitcoin because it's a nice thing to have on the side to save up for. You don't have to keep up with everything to get into bitcoin.
I've learned that myself, if you're just trying out a different method of saving, bitcoin could be an option for you as well.
If you just keep up with what the value of bitcoin is every now and then, you'd come a long way with making profits.

I agree with you my friend. Other people who have saved their money here have profited now. It is not like just a piggy bank. It is your own bank that keep on moving. Rising or going down.

yeah that is true, every coins has two sides and so bitcoin does, either you can use it as a saving or as an investment, the outcome would be that you are into profits, and that is the best thing about the bitcoins and if people would come to know the multi advantages associated with bitcoins then they would surely start using bitcoins and can get rid of the banking system as you have your own bank on which you have total control.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 28, 2015, 08:42:30 PM
I sure am holding the BTC for a price rise, I'm not holding allot but I think BTC has a very decent chance of increasing in price and don't want to miss that.

I totally agree with you, I would like to see a bit price increase especially with all the upcoming events in 2016.

BTC will reach to a new level in the year 2016 for sure, but it doesn't guarantee us that it is confirmed, if we have more users who are entering into bitcoins then its a great news for bitcoin community or else the scenario would be the same, it is simple if the adoption level is high, the price of bitcoins would be higher and more stable in the coming years or else the value would fall down.

217  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 08:38:10 PM
Buy the latest FAD makeup at wholesale. Sell at full RRP online and offer a discount for paying in bitcoin but at a rate higher than your purchase price.

Yes the more shops available for woman the more they will get attracted to bitcoin as a currency.
We have a long way to go, i am aware of that, but it is a nice start.

Yes but the most important thing is that we should make them aware about the bitcoins like its advantages, disadvantages and if they find it attractive they would surely start using bitcoins and the best thing them to motivate is the way of shopping where all womens have an attraction if they come to know that they can shop using bitcoins then there would be more women in bitcoin community as compared to men.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: December 28, 2015, 08:29:20 PM
Today I will withdraw a bit of my bitcoins because I will buy some foods for the preparation of Christmas Eve Noche Buena later. All my coins are in diff exchanges since Im doing trades. I will pause for a moment in doing trades as I will celebrate Christmas. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Yeah trading bitcoins is a fun as it gives me a quick profits and rather then trading I use it for gambling, online purchases and online transfers, and the best thing about bitcoins is I don't need to use my credit cards for buying products online and I don't need to visit any bank or WU for online transfers, I can do it by just a simple mouse click with least time and with least transaction costs.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: December 28, 2015, 08:20:28 PM
We need to encourage business owners to start accepting bitcoin. This will be the most effective way to encourage bitcoin use.

The best way to spread bitcoins effectively is to spread news about it around us, to our friends and family and if we does it effectively then no one can stop bitcoins in getting into the mainstream, as people lack knowledge and they also hesitate to invest their money in something they really don't know and the older generation would never want to invest their money into crypto currencies as they have fear of loosing their money.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 08:09:03 PM
Definitely signature campaign. It's the best way to earn, on this forum at least.
yeah signature campaign is the easiest job with a large income, but whether it can be made in the long term for this job?
thinking again

signature campaign really possible to be a full income?

I think it is possible especially to people living on a third world country. I think I should also consider sig campaign as a source of my income coz I am just working with sig campaign right now since I am only a student Cheesy.

PS: I am also living on a third world country and I can say earnings on a sig campaign was enough for weekly expenses but I won't depend my living on a posting job online Cheesy

yes it looks with your activities in this forum I saw more than 3 of your post for this page only Cheesy
yes true earnings in sign campaign is big enough, but important thing not too dependent on this job bro

Of course I won't depend too much on sig campaigning alone. Its just that it was the easiest yet fun and educational way to earn "money" and its perfect for me as a student coz I can post anytime I want (only on my free time though). But I will still do sig campaign when I get  a job in the future, hope it still exist Cheesy

Firstly I used to feel that only faucets are paying in peanuts but now same goes with signature campaigns too, as it doesn't gives you the best earnings as it is just an passive income and it doesn't guarantee you the future security, if you want to earn big then think big, afford to take risks, more risks more returns, so I believe if you want to grow your bitcoins in quick time then gambling and trading are the key to success.
