201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 18, 2018, 12:11:57 PM
28+ percent inflation per month and a crypto bear market is what is making the price drop. I don't think I had as much of an affect as you think so I won't take credit for it.  Wink

Remember it's compounding percent. So if you have 100 coins, you have 107 after first week. Then 114.49 after second week. 122.5043 third week. 131.079601 fourth week = 31.07% inflation per month

That’s good continue to question gwestcot. Read through what he has written. He also writes that he did not do anything with the intention of damaging the project

Peace

Well, to know that the huge drop has been due to one big dumper, gwestcot, is paradoxically a bullish news, since it means that in principle BTX holders have not a generalized attitude to sell, they are doing it now only as a consequence of the dumping wave originated by gwestcot. Once that emotional wave will be exhausted, price might start to rise again. Perhaps.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryoGen - Cryopreservation technologies. PRE-ICO is live now. on: March 18, 2018, 11:55:44 AM
It looks like the CyoGen project itself has been put under cryopreservation - everything frozen, no news any more, bounty hunters don't know if there is any campaign running any more... Is that The Dark Side Of Hybernation?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN/ICO]JOHN MCAFEE'S CHOICE FOR THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE BLOCKCHAINS.DOCADEMIC on: March 18, 2018, 10:07:28 AM
I've noticed that your spreadsheets of your bounty campaigns have not been updated any more for a long time, does it mean the ICO has been aborted or is going to be aborted?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Safe is MetaMask? on: March 18, 2018, 10:00:34 AM
The warning that Metamask has given to you seems a very useful one. You may actually have visited a phishing site. If you have funds that you are afraid could get stolen I too warmly recommend you a hardware walled like Nano Ledger.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex blocked in some countries? on: March 18, 2018, 09:52:07 AM
If you travel to "blacklisted" countries like Iran and you try to access your Poloniex account from there, your account gets frozen and there is no way to unfreeze it until you are back in your country and you do a sort of KYC with them, and then wait in the very long support queue.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEEP ONION SCAM!!!! on: March 18, 2018, 09:48:03 AM
A coin can be a scam only if the devs dump their coins on the community and run away with the money. In all other cases a coin can just be a good coin or a bad coin or a mediocre coin or a whatever coin - everybody will reach their own conclusions on that. But certainly we should learn to use the appropriate words when we express ourselves. The word "scam" is largely abused in the world of crypto.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: March 18, 2018, 09:40:31 AM
Coins are worth what people think that they are worth. This typically changes very fast during FOMO and FUD periods. Now we are in a FUD one, which is not more real than a FOMO one. It's all just only in people's heads.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine to Legalize Crypto Mining as Economic Activity on: March 18, 2018, 09:23:18 AM
"The government in Kiev has taken concrete steps to legalize cryptocurrency mining. Ukraine’s Minister of Economy has ordered several ministries, agencies, and the National Bank to prepare the documents necessary to include mining in the state register of economic activities. "

https://news.bitcoin.com/ukraine-to-legalize-crypto-mining-as-economic-activity/

Thought this was pretty interesting.

But is crypto mining even profitable at this point? Idk if it's worth it for btc, maybe some other alcoins?

What do you think?

If there's a place where crypto mining is profitable in Europe this is exactly Ukraine, where the electricity cost is one of the lowest. However, the idea of "legalizing cryptocurrency mining" seems to me rather a pretext to tax it.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: March 18, 2018, 09:18:23 AM
2018 could well be all in red, after the sharp growth of 2017, as it has been 2014 after the then sharp growth of 2013. The market works like that, big rises in price need then to be consolidated and this takes time.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: March 18, 2018, 08:54:11 AM
Seven months and 132 pages of thread of replies to a guy who is asking how to "grow" half a bitcoin into something more. If this is not shitposting I don't know what it is.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: March 18, 2018, 08:51:23 AM
Why are all people here pretending to answer to a question that a guy has made several months ago when BTC has still to make its astonishing bullrun? Whatever the guy decided to do, he did it, the question doesn't matter now any more. This thread has become total nonsense.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: March 18, 2018, 08:47:49 AM
Funny question, which has been put in September 2017 and in hindsight we all know now that the answer is that it was time to buy. The same question today - I'm not sure about the answer. I'm afraid it's time to sell.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: March 18, 2018, 08:45:21 AM
Panicking when you reach around 800% profit, then it goes to 650%, then 700%, and you sell at 600% when you see it reach 500% afterwhile and take a break before investing back again when you see a calmer market.

What you are depicting is kind of a best case scenario these days. Now many alts are experiencing a drop up to 90% from ATH - THIS is the real thing, but even panic is not enough for that.
214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hitbtc fraud on: March 18, 2018, 08:43:03 AM
What's the issue exactly? I use this exchange sometimes and quite like their interface. Haven't noticed any stealings personally. Would you mind elaborating on your issue?
I dont know what exactly he experienced with them but me personally have encountered their very huge withdrawal and deposit fees.I mean who charges fees for deposits after you pay for your money to carried across a network to the exchange.Other people have also complained about their coins being stolen

I too have noticed very high withdrawal fees the only time I have used it. I couldn't avoid using it because the coin I was interested in was listed only there. But I'll try to avoid using it again like hell.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: March 18, 2018, 08:40:34 AM
My first instinct would be to address this problem by drinking. I've actually tried it several times, but it is scarcely effective. Therefore, when I'm absolutely sure prices will tank further I'm now selling part of my BTC and ETH planning to rebuy lower. Should have done it also with alts, but couldn't decide yet.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: March 18, 2018, 12:34:34 AM
bitcoin price now is under 7000 it will go under 5000 it is real or FUD..who is manipulate this market...

Technical analysis seems to point to something like that, but you never know. We could have a reversal any moment. Perhaps we're going only to a double bottom in the 6000 area.
217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Monitoring of new coins on: March 18, 2018, 12:33:20 AM
This idea is truly good, but I guess one would have to pay for using this bot. How long does the free trial last?
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 18, 2018, 12:28:33 AM
I am reading here that the stolen coins have been tagged. How does that work exactly from a technical point of view? How would you track them all when they start to move around?
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 04, 2018, 11:56:23 AM
Do you thing the quite recently stolen NEM could have a role in such a big dump? Just to try to understand better the dynamics of what's happening.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beyond shitcoins and shittokens: meet the new airdropped SUBSHITTOKENS! on: March 02, 2018, 09:53:35 PM
Finally an intelligent thread!

The proof that this is an intelligent thread is that almost nobody is taking part to it. Most of the people here have only something to say in threads like "Bitcoin is King, if not dump".
