Now i got it. How freelance platform works is, both the employer and the freelancers are going to register to the platform with the use of BIDM token as payment, only very small percentage 0.0% if they use Bidium native token and will be 1% if other tokens. Then the employers advertise or posts their online jobs and freelance applicants will be choosng wich one suits their skills. Could be web designing, logo making, video editing or article writing etc which is done online. Good idea.

Hey there Gracechen17!

Just a bit of correction on the charges you mentioned.  A very minimal charge of 0.1% applies when using Bidium tokens on the exchange platform compared to 1% when using other tokens.

As of the moment, Bidium announced that it will be accepting Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum apart from the main token, Bidium.  But fear not for other alt coins as many will be added later on.
Lol!  Grin Cheesy
She must be sleeping while posting, 0.0% is not a small percentage by the way. It’s ok we are human we make mistakes from time to time. I will still prefer to use their own Bidium token since there will be much advantage in using them. Aside from getting a share of their revenues if I store some tokens in my Bidium wallet.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡🚀⚡PRE-ANN: XBrick - World-class crypto currency exchange ⚡🚀⚡ on: May 13, 2018, 09:19:15 AM
XBrick has a world-class technical team. Partnering with professional advisers and sophisticated investors, and based on a well-developed trading system, XBrick is building a platform for high quality blockchain-based assets to create a secure, reliable, and efficient global crypto currency exchange.

XBrick’s high-performance trading engine is capable of processing more than 2 million orders a second.

XBrick has teamed up with our strategic partner LiquidAlpha, who are seasoned traders and developers with more than a decade of market making and high frequency trading experiences. Together we have been developing a sophisticated technology which continuously scans and gathers tradable liquidity from channels around the world to form an easy and accessible Global Consolidated Order Book (GCOB) that displays the best market prices and depth for XBrick’s users, as well as a Dynamic Liquidity Providing Engine (DLPE) which is designed to automatically provide liquidity for our users when needed.

The XBrick team is comprised of blockchain supporters with a deep sense of social responsibility. Consequently, in addition to offering you the services set out in this paper, we will also be endeavoring to promote blockchain technology, which may include educating the public on the benefits of blockchain, hosting global blockchain forums and summits, creating university scholarships, and encouraging researchers to explore blockchain technology.

XBlock expects increased global regulation of crypto currencies and the exchanges on which they trade. XBrick welcomes such increased regulation which is likely to enhance the market position of sophisticated platforms that exhibit strong corporate governance. An area of regulation that is likely to be subject to early regulatory tightening is in relation to customer identification and the prevention of money laundering. XBrick has sought to partially future-proof its operations in this regard by implementing customer identification procedures that are greater than currently required by Australian regulation, despite XBrick not currently being subject to Australian anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.

Stay tuned!
More updates will be posted here...
XBrick’s high-performance trading engine is capable of processing more than 2 million orders a second.

And? Anymore details? Why do you think increased regulations will attract more people to the project? Increased regulations maybe good in some way but it will also mean tightening in cryptocurrency world. It will also mean additional load to be shouldered by investors or crypto holders. Like KYC.

To attract clients or buyers, the platform offers buyers and sellers the opportunity to save time as there is a limited time
period of 24 hours to bid for any product. This will provide sellers an assurance of getting
authorized buyers only, which in turn prevent their products from being blocked by
malicious buyers.
A limited time offer can cause rush of things. Maybe an option to opt for somewhat a more friendly time can be done to both accommodate for the seller and the buyer. An option can also be made to cater the taste of the user can be better for a much more controlled flow of products. Communication for the buyer and sellers is a must for them to better communicate their trade to ensure a great transaction.
A more friendly time can also mean a loss to the seller. The best thing could be i think, the buyer has to think first and be sure in mind of what he really wanted to buy. If the item specifications are there, price, quantities and sizes if applied then No need to take much time from the seller. That will be a waste of time. Everybody wants to earn more.

What is the Bidium trying to do I see on their whitepaper that they are a marketplace for bidders and buyers on their platform but what are the products or services that will be available on their platform? Is it a Bidding place for cryptocurrency like exchanges or more like an online shop that are selling physical product.
Definitely more. There will be products like that in ebay and amazon if i’m not mistaken and buyers can pay in bidium token or other cryptocurrencies. Buyers and sellers can pay directly from wallet to wallet called peer to peer payment too which is more faster and hassle free.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BIDIUM: The Best Service Around - Join Whitelist Today on: May 09, 2018, 07:21:44 PM
I was wondering does bidium focus on a specific job for freelancers? or is it a typical freelancer site wherein all jobs are available? I'm just curious. hoping it reaches alot of freelancers, you don't see a 0 zero transaction fee site everyday.  Shocked
I dont think Bidium will control the advertisements of job posted by employers, as to which one is allowed and which one is not. As long as they pay they are allowed to post. Bidium will just serve as a freelance job hunting place i think. Applicants can just scroll as much as they want and find the best offer that suits their skills. I also hope they will have offers that suits my skills.  Grin Cheesy

Well, the truth is there already exists a lot of freelance hiring sites for free out there (yes, absolutely free, not a single cent to spend), even Bidium recognizes that and even made a comparison chart as one can see from their other channels.

But the thing is this, Bidium offers this freelance hiring service in a decentralized nature on top of blockchain technology.  Sounds really fancy isn't it?

So we are left to ask, how could decentralization help in the industry of freelance hiring? There you go, you are now in the same street as i am, maybe a few house away but i'm sure we'll meet soon.

Reply back your thoughts on how decentralization can help freelancers and aspiring ones like us and why do you think Bidium decided to take this course (and why they boast of it). Let's all discuss.

This Can be a lifesaver for those freelancers but there is one problem in this platform. How can they filter out those lazy ass freelancer from the platform. Yes there will be a hardworking freelancer out there but what about those people who doesn't do their work as a freelancer? It'll be the loss of the people who hire them if they don't do their work.

How can they sort out this kind of people or freelancer? Will they have a rating method for those freelancers not only for them but also the employer.
There will be a direct interview of employers on applicants the moment they are pick according to their profile datas and they have to state why do they have to be chosen instead of others. There will also be endorsers among users inside the platform.

I just imagine hiw many graduates are recieving their diplomas and master’s degrees every year and yet not all of them are getting job right away and there are even graduates that are jobless for many years simply because they find it difficult to be hired or sad to say that there not enough jobs for all of them. Maybe BIDIUM freelance platform will be a big help for them to be employed by finding employers by themselves within the platform itself. Good idea BIDIUM.

That's right, another good thing in bidium is that hiring an freelancer worker this in not just only an online auction but an opportunity to unemployed people,
which is good because we are helping and giving a chance to those who are qualified person that wants to have a better job.
Based on my experience I am also unemployed before. Even if you have been educated and have completed a good course with diploma it is not easy to find a job because in our country, it is one of the big problems facing the country's lack of employment. I read the platform of bidium I was delighted with this project that could help people with enough knowledge and skills to help unemployed people to get the job that is right for them.
Lack of employments causes in most countries are, Having more and more graduates every year adding to the past years unemployed graduates, governments are not providing enough jobs for everyone. In my place one of the reason also is, everyone wants a white collared job, everyone wants to be in the city wherein there is not enough job for everyone in the city. No one wants to work in the village.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 07, 2018, 09:20:35 PM
After participating in ICOs by buying some tokens or participating in bounties, the moment their tokens are listed in exchanges, what do you do guys, do you sell your tokens right away or wait for a more higher price to come?

You have to make that decision by yourself on your own research and assessment. According to statistics, about 90% of the coins after the ICO are losing their value. That is why it is so important to filter out the bad ones from the good ones. I prefer holding the coins at least until the full realization of the project. But that depends on the project. If you are not convinced in the quality of the project it is better to sell the coin as soon as possible and focus your attention and time elsewhere.

This is also what someone told me. Most of ICO tokens are losing its value as time passes by. But i really have no idea how to determine the value or potential value of a certain token. I wish i can tell when and which. Thanks anyway for your suggestion.

What are your plans for the future, in 5 years, 10 years etc.? What do you intend to do and what interests do you intend to pursue?
3 years from now i want to have my own business. A general merchandise store and a shcool supplies store. This is what my heart’s desire but if God is willing It will happen if not maybe He has a better plan for me. I love the idea because we living near a school.
209  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: May 07, 2018, 09:09:00 PM
Money, a good heart, kindness, talents and skills and sincerity. I have seen a lot of beautiful women having ugly partners and they are asked why they chose the man they would say it was his character. Attitude always comes before beauty so they still prefer a good attitude than the face.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 07, 2018, 08:59:45 PM
Sometimes I immediately sell it immediately, but there are times when I only sell half of all tokens I have, that's because I want a better price. Because sometimes some tokens even jumped up after we sell it
Ya i saw also instances like that and this is what i dont want to happen, to regret and be mad on myself. And besides I’ve worked for all my coins so it will not be good if i will just throw them away for few cents. That would fir sure break my heart.  Cheesy
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 07, 2018, 08:57:03 PM
Depending on the need and project. Some projects look like they won't rise but will have big bounty rewards, to those I join up to cash in insantly, some projects look like that they gonna explode, so I join them for hodling.
How do you know if the tokens have potential of getting a higher value? What clue should i consider as to whether this coin i will sell and this one i will hold? I wish i know.  Sad
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: May 07, 2018, 08:50:40 PM
my plan is to keep 6 potential alt coins till year end. at least keep until bull market. specially coins are req, ada, trx, prl ,cs and snov. i wish two bull markets will come in this year
I was planning to still hold all my coins until end of this year and sell all. I have some collections of coins in my wallet and i am not selling them because it the market’s current situation. I am hoping it will be better by December but better or not i will start disposing them by the end of this year.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell and buy ethereum? on: May 07, 2018, 08:47:58 PM
I think so. You can invest a portion of your money on ethereum and a portion also to other alts. It is always good to diversify our investment so that if one fails we still have something left.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 07, 2018, 08:45:14 PM
To maximize your profits on investment, it would be better to HODL and wait until the prices are more rewarding.  Selling immediately would bring lower profits as you'll be competing with the bounty hunters.
I waited for several months already but i can see that their value are not getting any better, just up and down. If up it is still not as it was expected. Actually i already have a collections of ICO tokens and havent sold from any of them. Sad
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: May 07, 2018, 08:41:20 PM
I also have no idea. In my 10 months in cryptocurrency i already participated in more than 5 scam bounty campaigns i think. Though some are geniune project but failed in their ICOs, some are really scams, invented and false projects. I got some tip also from thers, they said that i have to find out the identity of the project developers in linkedin if they are real or not or maybe different person.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 07, 2018, 08:24:49 PM
It is not for us to decide for this but i also dont like it. In one bounty campaign i failed to submit one of the documents they are asking and they didnt pay me. It is so disgusting and besides, cryptocurrency is annonymous so why require kyc? It is already the participants responsibility to take good care of his wallet why make the whole process difficult.

Bidiums’ another most efficient function is a decentralized marketplace that is selfregulatory espcially for freelancers and clients.
The freelancers it has an opportunity to showcase there  gigs for a particular price

Yes, that is true. For me, this is the greatest feature of this project. Because to have an opportunity to advertise your own skills and experiences to a platform like this that are full of credible people would be the best thing as a freelancer because it is making things easier for you. I think this will be the one to drive big investors into this project.
The financial boom in the cryptocurrency world has led to immense interest by investor all over the globe. This interest of investors in the cryptocurrency
industry has led to a commensurate increase in the number of ICOs and the creation of tokens.

Bidium having a cryptocurrency trade and using cryptocurrency in marketplace can help in capital controls as there are usually some restrictions on the movement of fiat capital from within and outside the country causing limitations to a persons desired transactions on trading and in buying something on a marketplace.

But with decentralizations this limits will not govern every marketers and buyers, much more that it will be build on blockchain technology and will be using cryptocurrencies as payments. So also geographical barriers are not a hindrance anymore to making a “sky is the limit” profit. Good chance also for online stores out there who did not qualify in  ebay, olx, amazon and lazada for example. With Bidium they will have a much much more potential of earning more.

Ya and i think it is not 0.0% but 0.01% if the users use the BIDM native token as payment. Sometimes i also roam around freelancers sites to just observe maybe they have something that fits my skills and interests but from the sites that i have been they have also biddings almost the same with Bidium, the only difference is that Bidium have more to offer. Almost the same. A job is posted, applicants will post their bids and why they should be chosen.
