201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: March 30, 2022, 01:48:04 PM
every analysis of traders and the issue of btc going to new ATH in 2022 is a positive thing to say when the market is rising even though this could happen,as well as op predicts bitcoin will go to 80k this trend we can see on the Crypto Fear & Greed Index on todayExtreme fear can be a sign that investors are too worried. That could be a buying opportunity.
When Investors are getting too greedy, that means the market is due for a correction.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Ethereum fees going down in this days? on: March 29, 2022, 03:51:42 PM
I think the reason for the decay gas eth in light of the fact that the volume of exchanges against eth has diminished definitely. Meaning the Ethereum network right now not an excess of occupied that is the reason excavators can without much of a stretch interaction every forthcoming exchange.
There's nothing to do with the exchange volumes but just as said by xalolex, it's about the erc20 tokens demand. Well, we can say that there's something to do with the exchanges because it's being traded there and most people are sending their erc20 tokens into exchanges to trade it.
But in actuality, it's just all about the production of many erc20 tokens and the demand that they're having which is making the network clogged which is turning the fee to be higher than before.
now ethereum is experiencing an increase whether gas costs will turn higher due to high exchange volume, maybe that could also be the reason because if the high volume that occurs is the transaction speed so the gas costs are getting higher to speed up transactions on ethereum
and this i see it on matemask and other wallets when gas costs are minimized then what happens is that our transaction fails or is delayed
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hitting the world every year on: March 29, 2022, 03:39:55 PM
There are many causes of inflation in every country but basically because of the declining economic growth caused by human growth and the difficulty of employment this will continue to occur considering the value of an item from year to year has increased which is not in accordance with the development of the economic welfare of the community.
So if you want inflation to be controlled, a country must be able to grow the community's economy so that it can progress one of them is imitating countries that apply blockchain and crypto technology to support the domestic economy industry

206  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The legal status of crypto currencies all over the world on: March 28, 2022, 10:26:36 PM
I don't see Indonesia on the list regarding the legal status that applies to crypto there, did they forget to include Indonesia.

Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia I see these countries are on the list, although currently Indonesia does not have a clear law against crypto, seems necessary to also know at least have information about (Applications from
APU/PPT Law?).

I'm still curious about Indonesia, even though it doesn't have illegal and legal laws, but crypto users there are quite safe and have full support from the government, for now.
in the article written by op, there are several countries whose legal status is not stated and one of them is Indonesia-I am an Indonesian myself- in my country the government gives an open attitude and provides a trade rule and general income tax whose status is general, because there are no specific rules about crypto issued by the government, so that in In the article, several countries were not mentioned, maybe because there was no firm statement from the government about it, because some countries gave a neutral stance on crypto.
207  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Bagaimana Menghadapi Hype Untuk Sebuah Investasi on: March 27, 2022, 10:54:35 PM
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument. on: March 27, 2022, 10:34:18 PM
many say bitcoin is not environmentally friendly and blah blah blah....
it's just an excuse for those who want to corner it even to eliminate bitcoin from its development....
As we know, bitcoin is indeed one that uses electricity which has a negative impact on the environment, because the amount of fossil fuel used to generate electricity also gives birth to greenhouse gases and air pollution. environmentally friendly and this is not an excuse because one of the most polluting energy contributors such as cars still cannot be overcome even though many countries switch to electric cars, but; this is also not environmentally friendly imagine if the whole world uses electric cars how much electricity usage is used every day....
therefore don't make it an excuse but make it a homework together to find the best solution without stopping the development of more efficient transaction technology... because bitcoin is not a setback but an advancement

I have only gotten up to your post so far in the thread, but I have become motivated to post even if your point has been made by others in the thread dark1234.

In other words, you seem to be making a good point dark1234 in relationship to the incentives that bitcoin creates to be innovative... and for sure there are other posters in this thread making similar points, but it seems to be worthy of emphasis and repetition.

For several years, I have been asserting that I could give few shits about how much energy bitcoin is supposedly causing to be used in the aggregate, because the incentives of bitcoin empower each miner to choose for himself/herself regarding whether and how much to mine bitcoin or to engage in other activities....

So if a miner determines that that there could be ways to make more profits by lowering energy costs, then such miner is going to seek out such lower cost energy - which will likely cause the putting to use of energy that had not been previously used.  Surely, some of the beneficiaries of the lower cost energy are going to become perturbed because the miner would be causing their energy costs to increase.. but still i tis quite likely that benefits outweigh the costs in terms of miners seeking out lower cost energy and thus incentivizing the development and use of lower cost energies... so without intervention, bitcoin already seems to contribute to the causation of decent incentives to both utilize low cost energy and to develop more low cost energy, if possible (or economically justifiable to attempt such ongoing developments of low cost energy).

So for sure there is a bit of a balancing of interests in terms of both the driving up of low cost energy, but also considerably great likelihood of ongoing development of such low cost usage of energy - which seems to actually be supported by the data (empirical evidence).

Maybe my own punchline is that I could hardly give any ratt's ass regarding the extent to which there are various kinds of clean or dirty energy usages.. because those seem to be side issues in which sometimes bitcoiners or bitcoin miners might end up getting involved if they might get involved in producing energy or selecting between sources of energy.. so in that regard, whether the energy is clean or not does not seem to be central towards whether bitcoin miners might be wanting to purchase energy that might be available in one location versus another.. just confusing regarding blaming bitcoin mining for preexisting situations.. and sure it may well be true that some improvements have been made to the energy grid over the last 50 years so that skies are not as polluted and water is not catching on fire.. so there surely are continued likely ways in which some forms of energy are cleaner than other forms of energy or if some forms of energy need to be coupled with cleaning or filtering technologies to cause them to be less polluting.. if it is truly the case that such forms of energy are more polluting than the benefits that they might otherwise bestow on the energy grid (infrastructure) - which likely varies quite a bit from region to region based on what resources might be naturally available in one area versus another... surely it is less energy (resource) efficient for people to live in a dessert.. or on a flood plain... but they still do.. so sometimes there can be meaningful and reasonable balancing of the varying interests.. which surely is a decent part of the story of bitcoin mining in terms of the individual incentives and whether those incentives might possibly go contrary to the balancing of public concerns.
in fact bitcoin mining is carried out by several people who incidentally are financially well-established people who don't want to bother themselves with things that will happen in the future for the sake of a bitcoin coffers in their pockets to get strong and stable energy, without thinking about their children and grandchildren In the future, will they still be able to see the beautiful snow mountain and breathe the fresh air in the morning?
only a few are done by a large-capacity corporate agency which of course may have switched to renewable technology [this is my personal assumption]

and I myself don't blame them for this because the negative impact of the energy crisis and global warming at this time is not too felt and it is human nature that the ego wants to be rich and richer so this is all a little neglected even though true wealth is a rich heart, wealth that is prosperous and happy when they are grandchildren we can feel it too later

My hope for now is that miners should be able to switch to looking for energy at a lower cost by utilizing the environmental resources around them, be it sun, water and air/wind, because of course the sustainability of bitcoin's life is in the hands of the miners, and things happen as they are the ban in china, it doesn't happen in their country whose impact will be felt by the miners themselves and the impact also blockchain and crypto users

WE may not be environmental activists but the environment needs to be cared for

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are these Altcoins worth investing? on: March 24, 2022, 01:17:56 PM
tron remains the choice among those that have been mentioned in the voting, several reasons have been mentioned by Fauzan Ichsan and why op doesn't put soluna as one of them considering that sol is a newcomer that should be taken into account and behind that tron is a crypto currency or cryptocurrency that is very special (unique) because it brings perspective, there are no transaction fees for TRX, and the tron network supports 2000 transactions every second.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you even helped anyone with bitcoin? on: March 24, 2022, 12:47:18 PM
most often the help I do in the form of bitcoin and altcoin is when some friends don't have enough fees/gas to make a transaction and beyond that I can help neighbors and relatives in the form of fiat which was originally in the form of BTC when they needed funds to cover a bank bill and the others
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: March 24, 2022, 12:38:20 PM
how does op get his money back after trading in bitcoin or altcoin too, as a newcomer here is very lucky because many of the others are not as lucky as the OP, maybe op already has experience in the trading world other than crypto so his mental and analysis is quite strong
I also feel very helpful here in the economic field and I also thank my friends who have introduced them to the bitcointalk forum because here I also know a lot about investing, trading and looking for work according to my talents.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: March 23, 2022, 02:31:12 PM
everyone is free to argue about something and of course it's not just by blaming something that has been real for many people without a solid basis and the op himself wants to do a proof .... which should be done after careful scientific research as evidence of an educated person and if that opinion is true make a responsible paper or media and can be discussed together so as not to fool and argue with others. same round I myself am still stupid in the block chain world but I know many smart and educated people join in it
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 23, 2022, 02:01:06 PM
I think the opposite, the Bitcoin price will skyrocket and immediately reach $ 50K, today rises more than 3% and has reached $ 42500, this is an important lesson for us that when prices go down then don't panic and sell cheaply, if you don't buy it at least hold because of the opportunity for bounce is easy.
for today bitcoin has increased which is a very natural thing after experiencing a correction for 2 days ago and it is impossible for spot traders to sell at inappropriate prices except for newcomers who panic and there is an urgent need because old entrants will do staking while holding waiting for prices ,is different from short-term trading and futures trading

What do you mean correction for 2 days? I haven't seen any correction except the price going up, $40k++ in the last week or so.

Of course, selling right now, you can make and squeeze some money, but we shouldn't look for short term though, for me it's better to save and accumulate at every dip and look for the next bull run. I know it's still very far, but that's what long term for me.
oh....thanks for the correction Dave1 I saw the price chart wrong because I used a 1 hour cart reading instead of 1 day so I had the wrong perception
I totally agree with you that continuing to collect in installments is the most profitable thing at the moment, although many predict that btc will reach 30K/28K$, in fact, it hasn't happened until now.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: March 22, 2022, 01:38:12 PM
I'll say both, why ?
I'll want to hold Bitcoin for a much long long period of time, as this is a unique feature of every bitcoiner.
Alternative coin why ?
This is because they're mostly good source to generate income, you trade your altcoins for profit.
the trading theory of each individual is very different but if you look at the spot price between altcoins and bitcoins as a whole it is almost the same between the two because altcoins tend to follow bitcoin, it's just that here we must be wise of course to achieve a satisfactory profit by looking at the funds we will enter, if we have very large funds in bitcoin which is very profitable and if it is the other way around then altcoins are better even though in reality every holder of course will also hold altcoins and even shitcoins
If the cryptocurrency market crashes again, buying in installments is the best alternative

219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. on: March 22, 2022, 12:36:48 PM
at this time the identical bitcoin fell due to the war between russia and ukraine, fundamentally affecting 80% of the current price. and whether bitcoin can rise after the war is over, I think it certainly can ... whether the war is over or is it still happening bitcoin can still grow both the price and the technology that accompanies it because of many factors that can support bitcoin's to grow as a real future solution
Where do you get the 80% affected of the current price? The price volatility didn’t exceed 20% so far since the war outbreak in Ukraine. I don’t know where you got the figure but it’s misleading although I agree with you that price will recover after the war since many investors/traders that transfer out there balance on safety assets will surely do buyback in different assets including cryptocurrency. But the main question hee is when will this war will over or atleast if the world economy will gonna be the same since most of the sanction has no expiration and I’m sure they will not gonna let Russia recover there economy after this.
This is my own personal assumption and the fundamental influence - "what is happening at this moment" - war has a negative impact on prices up to 80% than any other problem from a macro to micro perspective to identify securities that are not priced properly by the market, is it not? the percentage of the volume of the market price which you mean as the range of price changes (difference between the maximum and minimum prices) so what I mean is that which affects the market so that it changes....
if this is a wrong assumption then it can be corrected... pal... Shocked Shocked Shocked
