Look, back in 2014 I have put several thousands of $$ in cryptos and everything that could go wrong went wrong. When my investment shrinked to almost zero and I was a bagholder of useless coins I took a pause of a few years from cryptos, but didn't sell. 3 dollars worth of Solarcoin which I then had in a forgotten wallet are now worth 2000$. And other coins as well. Time fixes things in cryptos.
Wow that is a good story to other people who may have coins that have dumped to near nothing, best to just hold it and see what happens, I think in your case you were very lucky that some of those like Solarcoin revived. I have also worse stories of other coins which I dumped for nothing and now would be worth millions... and I know other friends with similar stories. |

Circulating supply on CMC is incorrect.. for some reason CMC not displaying (refusing to display) the 0.5x BTC virtual fork. if cap is 21M, then circulating supply will be increasing ~120% (100% if the devs have 1M coins not reflected in circulating supply). most bitcoiners probably don't know about the virtual fork/airdrop.
i'm thinking one dev controls the whole million..stay tuned  more to come<<< Like Bitcoin? Satoshi Nakamoto controls 1 Million BTCs... Perhaps this means that Bitcore is ready for a several tens of billions capitalisation  |

I have been kicked out of DeepOnion (actually I was not accepted for the airdrops, so I've immediately quit without staying there whining and begging like many others), and there are a lot of assholes there, but reading and taking part to this thread I'm starting to suspect that there many more assholes here - no offence intended, assholes are part of the universe. So many people vomiting hate, I guess because they could not get free onions. Get a life, losers.

It looks like Bitcore is getting more and more visibility, the thread grows faster and faster and so does the volume. This only points at even better things ahead.  Are we looking at the same coin? The volume halfed in the last days Don't get me wrong I think that's not really a problem. It looks like we have to wait till the BTG heat is down and this scam is finally gone. Then with hitbtc growing and CMC correcting the circulating supply we're set to go for higher goals. I'm really curious to see what happens when hitbtc is putting out the free BTX for all BTCholders. Well, I remember the time when the volume was totally non existent for Bitcore, in this very moment it is 50 times higher than in the past summer even though now it has just halved. On the other side the peak has been caused by a pump, so it is understandable that it would drop then. I remember it too, i'm still mad because i did not buy bitcore in its early stages, oh well :/, and yet I smile with my other investments. I did buy some, but then stupidly I sold some so as to recover initial investment. Now the Bitcore I have are for free, but I'd reather have held the one I've sold. |

I have discovered Bitcoin when you could get tons of them for just cents, I liked the idea very much and then I forgot to dig deeper.... Did I will the regrets competition?

The distribution method has changed a few weeks ago and now it resembles the distribution model of many other airdropped coins. So the "blackmail" strategy: if you dump your coins you won't receive more, doesn't work any more. It was a brilliant idea, even though with controversial implications. And the dev almost managed to fuck up the project completely with his paranoia. Now that it is more open, and the price is quite stable, the project has better chances of success.
The damage is done. The project is completely centralized, less than 300 people have all the control over the whole project. That, among other things, is why I am out. Tried to tag along for a while but in the end you only get threatened to be kicked out of the Airdrop if you so much as consider mentioning that the mods receive way too much coins. Not to mention the massive censorship going on there. --ypsi Yes, massive censorship and threats really suck and THIS is what actually has done all the damage. Still not correct to call it "scam" - it may become a scam in future, but it is not a real scam yet, no dumps from the devs on the public and now everybody is free to trade and the price does not collapse. Possibly, user base is growing. Cryptos is cryptos, everything can change and coins can get their own life. We'll see. |

This is a truly exciting project and I am very happy to start promoting it with a signature campaign. Since Berlin is one of my favorite cities I may even decide to pay them a visit to see with my eyes their already working unit.

Who pays Hit BTC?
i would be happy to not take the 3% one week for let btx be listed there. and probably also other people. I think HitBTC (as any other exchange) would potentially earn more than 10BTCs by listing Bitcore because they would earn a weekly 3% on all the BTX stored on their exchange, since they would get the airdrops. It is strange that they don't consider that properly. |
