That's unfortunate and I'm sorry to all the investors that are affected. The team are mainly based in the UK so our options really are to setup a business here or overseas in a tax haven. We looked at both options when setting up bank accounts and decided from a risk perspective we were safer with legislation and accounting practices in a country we know. There are examples of fraud in every country and while the UK is no different I don't feel the business climate here is worse than other countries. I may have however have a distorted view of this, as I am looking at it from the inside. There have been some really successful ICO's with UK based companies too recently like Electroneum. I hope as long as we are transparent, honest and focus on a long-term approach investors and publishers will be able to look past where we are based.

We have not set a date for the ICO yet as we have a development plan at https://jsecoin.com/timeline/ we are focusing on before moving forwards to the ICO. Rod that's not something I've heard before but I'm surprised that scammers would go to the lengths of registering a business, especially in the UK.

Hi Travellingwolf, Yes that will work across the different country specific TLD's.
The best way to add your code to a blogger site is to modify the template file so the code loads on every page that a users visits.
1. Sign in to blogger.com and visit your blog's "Overview" page. 2. Select "Template" from the left-hand menu. You may need to select a template before continuing. There should be a template preview near the top of the page. 3. Click the Edit HTML button, which will open a HTML editor for you edit your blog's template. 4. Enter your jsecoin code snippet above the final </body> tag at the bottom of the template. 5. Save the template. 6. To test, open up your site in Chrome and press CTRL + SHIFT + J. This will load the web developer console. You should see block data coming in and being logged in the console after 15 seconds.

We haven't decided on which exchange(s) to list on first. There's a thread here: https://jsecoin.com/forums/topic/recommended-exchanges/ which outlines investors recommended exchanges. The landscape is changing daily as most listing fees are in BTC or alternative Cryptocurrencies and the extreme price movements are constantly moving the goal posts for listing fees. Something like Cryptopia has a set fee which is affordable to some extent and I feel they are a respected platform. Many 3rd tier exchanges offer free listing if you can get voted on which may or may not be an option we look at. Obviously we would love to list on the best and most prestigious exchanges but Bittrex for example charges 50BTC for listing which is way out of budget. If demand is big enough and the potential trading volume is high enough it will be much easier to negotiate with the larger exchanges. Closer to the time we will draw up a spreadsheet of the available options and compare the pros and cons for each exchange.

Hi Rezwalker, the publisher mining is still working. What errors are you getting could you post or PM me your website address so I can take a look?

Yes we will be listing on exchanges after the ICO in 2018. We have the next 3 months of development planned and this is now publicly available at https://jsecoin.com/timeline/Once we have the development side in place or at least close to completing on schedule then we will announce the exact ICO dates.

Muppet58 if it's a large site it could be more to do with traffic quality and fraud filters if you aren't receiving any stats at all. We had some users complain that traffic to their sites was being blocked and it turned out they were using auto-surf type traffic which isn't allowed and is now being detected with the update. I have no reason to believe this is the case but it could be something like this that is causing the problem. If you would like me to take a look at your account and domains then please PM me your account details.

@rezwalker, we haven't applied for any exchanges yet but there's a thread here discussing it https://jsecoin.com/forums/topic/recommended-exchanges/#post-390@henslee & cryptur, the increase in hashing shouldn't have reduced earnings significantly because its the same for everyone and the same coin distribution. The only reason I can think of why this may be is that some users with lower powered hardware have "caught up" because of the more efficient system. This means that lower powered or older laptops are now able to compete better with newer ones. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing if that is the case. What kind of earnings were you getting before and after the update?

Hi Cryptur,
One thing I noticed is that if the laptop screensaver or power saving mode comes on after a set period then the hash rate can go down. Also when you first "wake up" the device it can take a couple of minutes for the balance to refresh. No changes in the last 24hrs so hopefully it's working for you again now.
One other thing is that if you leave it running in a tab and then open up another tab on top the hash rate drops right off because the browser restricts CPU resources to the hidden tab. You can get around that by opening it up in a separate browser window which can then be left to run in the background.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any further issues.

We have pushed out a number of updates over the last 48 hours and I'd expect at least one more today. I'd recommend refreshing your browser regularly during this period to clear the cache and reload any new code.
There was a bug with the currently active self-miners yesterday in that it was only showing people that had logged in during the previous 5 minutes. This was because the load balancer was resetting web socket connection every 5 minutes and on reconnect it wasn't tracking the user. This has been fixed now but it wont track the existing users that are logged in until they log back out and back in again so that figure isn't going to be accurate for at least 24 hours.
0.065 for a day still sounds a lot lower than it should be so I'd recommend doing a browser refresh and see if that fixes the issue.
Apologies for the inconvenience, we are trying to push out updates as smoothly as possible but there will inevitably be some disruption.

Hi CDRX, Yes Kaspersky is now flagging all our sub-domains as malicious which is ridiculous. I've just got off the phone with the technical support team and they are escalating it again to try and get the situation resolved. I'll update you when I hear back. They have full contact details as well as a legal address so if this doesn't work we will put something in writing to them. https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/about/contactHi Shidannv, I'm afraid there is not a private sale for the big investors. There will be further opportunity to contribute to the project next year though as we have not reached ICO yet. TheLastOne, we will launch some kind of bounty program I think closer to ICO. Air drop looks less likely.

Hi Cryptur,
We rolled out and update which means the hashing algorithm is working faster because it is crunching less data. The mining numbers are volatile because it's based on the 3rd party webmasters sites that our code is running. One or two really big sites makes a huge difference if they are testing traffic.
The update yesterday allows us to improve the efficiency of the hashing system. Before we were sending out complete block data to the browser which would be used with the SHA256 hashing algo. Because we have the block explorer now there is no benefit to that system so we changed it across to a new method. The data is hashed server-side to create a 64char prehash, this is sent out to clients who add a random number (nonce) and rehash that hash, nonce combo. The resulting hash is then processed and sent back to the server if it is a match to the difficulty.
It actually worked a bit too well and we had to cap the hash rates to 10k on the self-mining for a bit until we either increase the overall difficulty or find a way to balance out mobile/desktop devices.
Also we moved from Ajax transfer protocol to websockets via socket.io, this gives us near real-time communications across the network.

Hi q9q1na31l,
No we have to display the privacy notice before the mining starts up so that users get notified about what is going on and given a chance to opt-out.

Hi Bitcash, 1) yes there is an API, full docs at https://jsecoin.com/api/2) We have set a hard cap at 100,000,000. Total in circulation is currently 760,010. Total distribution is 1440 to publishers and 720 to self-miners per day. Frostpik, we had to top up the distribution account after the final day of the pre-ICO funding round which is why there were jumps in the total coin cap.

Hi Cryptur, it depends really if the situation was legitimate or was someone setting up multiple accounts to try and game the system. This is the kind of situation we are trying to avoid because it is only one step away from the server farms. yume91, you can try self-mining by setting up an account and using the mining page. Hi Kangetech, ICO wont be until next year. We haven't set a date yet but have at least 3 months of dev work to do beforehand. We are currently working on a new timeline and will upload this to https://jsecoin.com/timeline/ next week. Thank you for the listing TrackICO.io, we will update the ICO information as soon as we set a date. Cryptur, hash rates vary anything from 25hps on some old mobile devices to 10k+ on modern desktops. Once you go over 2k you will start to notice the difference it makes to earnings becomes less and less. This is to prevent extremely high powered hardware such as ASIC devices having an advantage.

Hi KryptoK, we will be publishing the totals along with the November accounts on the website tomorrow.
Jan Cok, thank you!
CDRX, I've pm'd you for account details.

Hi xyburcoin,
I would definitely try both Firefox and Chrome on a windows machine as we've had varying results depending on the hardware system. On Mac Safari is standard and works well.
