Thanks for the response, I did not go over each page to see what every person wrote, so I was not aware that he wrote that. But, even with that being said, that is some time ago, I wonder if the price per post upgraded or increased. Like you stated, the amount before was kinda a little low to attract users or to get users to stay, So If they increased the price, maybe I might give that site a go. It looks neat, similar to this site, just less traffic.

No problem, that's the goal of a forum, helping eachother  Wink

But attracting new posters and GOOD posters is a different thing and a difficult one.
It is next to impossible to attract the top notch of the posters here. Those guys (and girls) have accounts which are often almost 10 years old, they wont give them up so easily.

Additionally, the best posters often wear signatures like Chipmixer which pays them approx 200-300 dollars per week for posting and wearing the sig. If you dont have something similiar (or better) to offer, those posters wont even think about starting over in a new forum.

Yes but now it was difficult to rank up and get a good signature. A lot of people are trying to find forums to get paid because they know they are good posters but they do not have the account to show it.
That's the kind of people you want to catch, not people from the forum with good ranks of course
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If she becomes a US senator next week, will Bitcoin thrive even more? on: December 05, 2019, 07:20:29 PM
If she was the president of USA, yes it will change many things for us, but you are right it is trump.
I do not have anything against him (not my president) but his point of biew on the crypto world is not helping... after which president is a crypto fan or lover ? (if you have some names ).

It doesn't matter who the president of the US is, there is no room for a competitor (Bitcoin in this case) to their own government issued currency. In that regard, I'm pretty certain that she will adopt an anti Bitcoin stance similar to Trump's. We'll see her narrative change to something like; blockchain is a great invention, Bitcoin not so much.

Politicians are backstabbers and compulsive liars. They have no problems betraying the had that fed them, or the people they made promises to.

Yes you are right, I was not thinking about bitcoin but cryptoeconomy in general (and the blockchain one too), polotics are telling you the truth as long as they know they it is possible to lye ...

But Yes, why do you need Bitcoin and crypto when you have the great Blockchain to cure everything !! ( Roll Eyes )
205  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Posts! on: December 05, 2019, 04:55:30 PM
So I seen that you can exchange their currency for bitcoin on their website, but how hard is it to earn their currency? You can cash out like 50k of their currency for almost 3 dollars usd if I am not mistaken. But, how hard is it to get the coins from that site. It says you get paid per post, but does someone know how much exactly you earn per post. Yes, I understand that the post has to be coherent and have over 100 words, but apart from that, if you meet that criteria, what is the payout per post?

someone said that pages ago :
Today i just make an account at there because i was so curious how many bitz i can earned and as people says bitz amount depend on from what categories we make posts and i was made several posts from different categories such as gambling section and bitcoin section and the payment per post approximately 80 - 115 bitz and to reedemed my bitz to bitcoin it took not less than 500 posts

maybe now it is higher because we show to op that it was too low to attract people for a long time (or even to attract them).
After I haven't tryied by myself so I can not confirm...
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If she becomes a US senator next week, will Bitcoin thrive even more? on: December 05, 2019, 04:52:42 PM
Then why you make a clickbait title, especially since it's not the original title of the article, if you think that the answer to your question is no? It's clear as a day that a single senator can't make the price go up or increase adoption, and everyone here knows it, except for maybe the most naive newbies.

The reason is very simple, he/she need to trick as many people as possible to open this thread and visit the site that is promoted all over the forum. Such posting should be allowed only in Press, and only if it is related to Bitcoin. From what I can see OP is just starting a thread and move to create a new one, zero discussions from his side.

I also agree with you and many others, one US senator can not change anything, especially one that has identical positions as Trump. We know his attitude towards Bitcoin, and squatter is posted a very nice quote about Kelly.

If she was the president of USA, yes it will change many things for us, but you are right it is trump.
I do not have anything against him (not my president) but his point of biew on the crypto world is not helping... after which president is a crypto fan or lover ? (if you have some names ).
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being held down by CME, BAKKT? on: December 05, 2019, 04:46:13 PM
I saw a news flash that the BaKKT is taking people's bitcoin and giving them USD, while they keep accumulating bitcoin at a lower rate and giving people a dead dollar. I remember many people were happy when bakkt wanted to launch, today I doubt they are still excited.

And you mind sharing with us this piece of "news" where BAKKT is taking people's bitcoin?
You have no idea what BAKKT is and how it works, don't you?

Be downed forever because of CME I don't know, but every month : YES.
These organisations have a lot of power indeed, but if they think they can get more money with a Pump, no reason for them to create a dump ?

Yeah, the Illuminati strike again, the guys dumping 500BTC on the market are to blame for, not the horde of imbeciles who panic they might loose 3 ents are dump everything they've got.

I'm wonderring if Bitcoin price can be held down by CME Futures and BAKKT like gold is for many years.

Of course man, it's all a conspiracy, they hold the price down....how?
What stops people buying bitcoin and not seeling at what CME or BAKKT says? Nothing!
Who is forcing you to sell at 7300$ or whatever the pice is? NOBODY!

The same pattern during every bear week of bear season, there must be a conspiration going on, that's the only reason you still can't buy a Bugatti with the two satoshis you've bought yesterday for 1 cent. Outrageous!!

Did I say it was a conspiracy ? No
You can't deny people have the power (or the number of coins) to influence the market. Of course they are playing on the fear of what you call "the horde of imbeciles".
After if everyone was holding will bitcoins go to 1.000.000 ? Or will everybody hold and nothing will happen ....

You're absolutely right.

We migrated to the new domain & are currently working on the referral system:

A referral contest will be launched next week with prizes up to 1 ETH!

So the more people you ref the more chance you have to win 1eth ?
Except that do you have other plans for the future to increase the traffic or attract good posters ?
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If she becomes a US senator next week, will Bitcoin thrive even more? on: December 05, 2019, 12:57:02 PM
We will have news about it to show us "she's our new hero", maybe btc price will pump like 2-5% but I don't see any reason to affect the price.
If she's doing things to reduce fees and promote it directly.... in that case maybe a bigger pump  Cheesy

211  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why don't we have bitcoin smart contract? on: December 05, 2019, 10:30:10 AM
Don't get me wrong, I love those solutions but as a very low-end Bitcoiner, I would be far from confident enough to attempt those scripts, much less hope the same for someone else I intend to pass my inheritance to. I consider myself the highest level technical knowledge you could possibly expect from a mainstream user:

even if you were high-end expert you still shouldn't have to be using scripts that you write by hand. there should always be a user friendly tool where it takes the inputs needed for creation of the script and then returns the  final transaction. for example to use the escrow (m of n multisig) script you can use the user friendly wallet called Electrum where you just import your master keys and m, the wallet does everything else.

otherwise it would not only take a lot of time but also you may easily make a lot of mistakes. for example  as an experiment and also to answer a question i recently created a script using OP_CLV and send some funds to it on testnet and then spent them. the whole thing took me about 1.5 hours and i messed up the first time and lost the first coins, they are now locked forever!!! here is the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205451.msg53211121#msg53211121

And of course if you don't understand something or are afraid, you will not use it. Cryptocurrencies need to be easy to use if we want to get an adopation....
Thanks for the other link too Smiley
212  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why don't we have bitcoin smart contract? on: December 04, 2019, 06:08:37 PM
But the smart contract platforms people talk about make escrow smart contracts just easy to use, safe, simple. IF the scripts you just shared are so easy to use (they're not for me), why isn't it brought up to be used more often in the p2p trades this forum sees every day? We're still heavily reliant on hiring forum escrowers for big trades.

pooya87's script is about 2-of-3 multi signature address and you already can use it easily (without need to know about scripting) by using wallet which support multi signature wallet such as Electrum.

And obviously hiring escrow is still needed.

Of course, escrow is a huge + of blockchain so no reason to stop it  Smiley
After you just need to be careful when you choose your escrow guy ..
But be careful when you put your trust in someone is what we do everyday ..

214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Posts! on: December 04, 2019, 06:02:35 PM
Is this site more like bitcointalk.org 2.0? I mean, the concept of being paid for every post is already conducted in this forum through signature campaign. So why would you post something like this into your competing site?
New forum owners would do the same for sure. Why? because they do know that this place had the most numbers when it comes to traffic which means
advertising their new forum here would be the best option even they do know that this one is their main competitor.

Lots of forums doing such paid per post because we know that majority would always consider on visiting a site that do generate some income but this one
is having a very low pay rate.

Yes, how much money the owner of the website can get with the few posters because of the pay ? I assume he will win money but not a lot because of the bad Alexa ranking  which will not increase with shitty posters  Roll Eyes

Since he is running a forum, Alexa's ranking does not matter. What you are talking about happened few years back. Nowadays the only thing that matters is the number of visitors based on Google analytic and Domain authority. To some extent Domain Authority also means nothing.

For a forum, it is the number of registered users and the number of active users that matters for an advertiser. So if this guy has good moderators then with his lucrative offer he can earn a good amount.

Yes my bad you are right, a forum is not the the same as a web site (you know what I mean ). For me it is possible to have good moderators even if you do not pay them because some people (like me ) love to moderate.
But attracting new posters and GOOD posters is a different thing and a difficult one.
215  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why don't we have bitcoin smart contract? on: December 04, 2019, 09:53:12 AM
While bitcoin may not have "smart-contract" implementation, there have been multiple initiatives in implementing smart contract as a bitcoin sidechain. Rootstock was talked about a lot once. Then there was the language Simplicity. I am not sure what is the progress on these concepts.

These were meaningful extensions of the bitcoin network. Although, we seem to have gone full "Bitcoin should only be used as SoV", a lot of original developers are the ones who diversified this vision too. In a way, they are all part of bitcoin.
The best scenario for crypto-economy would be to have the Pro-Dapp community and the maximalist community on the same page.

RSK Smart contracts
Simplicity whitepaper

Thanks for the links I will take a look too.
You don't hear a lot about project based on Bitcoin because of Ethereum.
And the last project (even if it is different ) Bitcoin based I heard about was "stratis" but ... They are dead , right ?
216  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why don't we have bitcoin smart contract? on: December 03, 2019, 08:56:46 PM
Thanks everyone for sharing so much meaningful information. I really feel that I got more information that I really wanted to be
aware of, yet it is not as promoted / marketed to the masses. I didn't know about Bitcoin already implementing the escrow thing,
nor did I know about RKS, Omni layer , simplicity and scripts.

What do you think is the next step in this industry? I don't believe it is "mature" yet and there is such a big gap left. We should really
start working on user experience. A Steve Jobs mind would help this be more than just peer to peer cash or an asset. I really think
users coming from backgrounds are not really interested in the "hashing" and all the logic, they just want something to work and this
bitcoin has everything to work, we just need to make people "enjoy it".

Or do you guys believe that my "view" on bitcoin is not as realist and in reality bitcoin is actually working as expected? I just want it
massively adopted! MASSIVELY. Billions of people.

I can understand your vision but I don't get why smart contracts for bitcoin will help the adoption ? you are talking of billions of people so lambda people I guess.
People do not need to know that bitcoin has smart contracts and they even don"t need to know what a smart contract is.
To use internet you don't need to know the OSI structure  Wink

You will spend more time than faucets so you can use the time to trade or join bitcointalk signautre or even more faucets so even if you can spam, faucets win for me !
+ like according to the rules you need to make "constructive" posts, so you can't spam  Wink

Do they have the minimum 100 characters per post thingy in place?
Even if they have that requirement, doesn't change anything though. I'm sure even 100 characters won't guarantee your post will be more constructive rather than less than that.

Faucet is the worst way to earn something in your crypto. It will be only waste your time only, because you don't anything even though you doing a lot for that
I agree, Faucets are a great way to join to enter the crypto world because you will gain some but not enough and maybe you will buy.
But if you want to get money indeed it's not a good options, bounties and signatures are trading are better.
