201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: March 29, 2018, 10:28:43 PM
If you plan on holding bitcoin in the long run, then they are now; Difficulty is on the increase, and supply is getting harder When talking about short term though, it may wait for more prices to drop before buying so we should often monitor bitcoin prices if we invest in making a big profit.

If you are a long term investor, it will be profitable to buy bitcoin now. Bitcon's price is lower this time, so many people can purchase. It will take some time for bitcoin to recover again. But there will be no problem with these if you are a long term investor.
202  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: IT'S ALL ABOUT CREATING POST on: March 29, 2018, 01:46:03 PM
So magbibigay ako ng DALAWANG situations or examples na magpapaliwanag about this topic, Oo dalawa kaya basahin natin.

UNA

If you have an idea na pwedeng add-on about sa topic na yon sana nireply mo nalang or use quotation. Creating new topics para lang masabing unique ka kasi more on informative facts or dinagdagan mo nalang. Hindi ganon, let's make a good community dapat. I also know naman na effort is the key kaya good job pa din sa mga gumagawa ng topics.

PANGALAWA

Make a thread na sobrang helpful sa lahat hindi yung common na topic na ginawa ng iba. As i mentioned sa una, wag ng paulit ulit. Kapag may nakikita kang WALA pa sa local natin, think about it. Ano bang latest? Ano bang ganap? Diba andami.

"Once you learn to read, you will be forever free"

I can't disagree. Laya challenging talaga kapag may some thing new. Mas hit for research at the same time an avenue of learning din.
203  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Para sa mga newbie, (know the scammers) on: March 28, 2018, 09:59:33 AM

Mas maganda na talaga iyong matuto from experience.
204  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin mother of all crypto.. is it fading away already? on: March 27, 2018, 11:45:23 AM

205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 10:27:14 AM
Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.

So many people are against bitcoin because a lot of people are not educated enough about this cryptocurrency. A lot has been thinking that bitcoin is just a fad,or even like a bubble. A lot of people are scared of investing in cryptocurrencies.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: March 23, 2018, 11:44:51 PM
I honestly think it goes both ways.

It'll cause more people to be interested in bitcoin since it's now showing to be a viable currency to use in everyday situations, like buying food, and if KFC deems it a successful strategy to accept it, it may open up more companies to jump on board to accepting btc. Which in the long run helps the holder of the crypto (most likely a majority of the people on this board).

However, on the other hand, it could simply be a gimmick which can be a possibility.

Well, hoping that this is true. Then, this is a good news for bitcoiners. This means bitcoin is advancing this will also be convenient to those bitcoiners who would want to have a KFC delivered to them
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money is cashless society on: March 23, 2018, 03:31:48 PM
ATM is also part of the media that makes cartal money into digital money with the same value or price. In my country, for some big companies have been applying digital money with transactions through ATM.

Well, this has been predicted even before. This could ve our future, where we don't need to have fiat money as we have roght now now but have a uniform or global curremcy but we cannot say how long we will wait for this.
208  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bangko Sentral, SEC to educate public on cryptocurrencies on: March 23, 2018, 09:25:13 AM
Looking forward to the rising of bitcoin's value.

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/03/12/18/bangko-sentral-sec-to-educate-public-on-cryptocurrencies

209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: March 23, 2018, 06:31:54 AM
It is better to be a long term investor than a short term. Usually short term investors will look at their wallets every day and they will panic quickly when the prices go down so they will sell

Well, life will be easier and less srressful if we will be a long term investor. We will just buy investments and wait til its price is up and our investment has grown. Unlike for short term investment, we will be considering the market price every now and then and wait for the seeming right timing to sell our investment for profit.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: March 23, 2018, 05:04:51 AM
i doubt it.
criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days have been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

and besides since bitcoin doesn't offer real anonymity it can not really help the criminals as much as things like hard cash helps them.

We can never associate criminality with bitcoin. It would be too harsh to say that there's criminality because of bitcoin. It is is just that criminals are using every possible ways to commit crime but we should not put the blame on bitcoin if there are instances that this can be used to do transactions.
211  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May legal implications bang dapat alalahanin pag nagcacashout galing sa bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 12:05:10 AM

212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Diversification Strategy on: March 22, 2018, 03:01:31 PM
What do you all think about a strategy of just investing a little bit in each of the top 100 coins, in hopes that one takes off?  Seems like downside risk would be minimal.

This is a good idea. I've done it before. Most of my diversify assets was a token.
But the problem is when the market suddenly crashed. It's to difficult to exit or stop loss all of it.

Yes, this is really wise. Diversifying your assets will really hel us secure our finances. When we diversify, we place our investments to different investment strategy. We must learn also in choosing the good investemnt mode and strategy.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 22, 2018, 12:45:25 PM
what do you want to do?
do you want to buy bitcoin and become rich over night? then no it is not a good time, never is a good time for that because bitcoin will not make you rich.
Whoever bought bitcoins on dip when it was 6000k and sold it for 11500K doubled his money, and whoever bought in for 1000$ last year or for 350$ in 2016. and sold it for 20K i am sure they made lots of money.
are you really interested in bitcoin as a new technology and a decentralized currency? then yes. it is a good time to buy bitcoin and learn more about it. start with a small amount and try things out, learn what bitcoin wallets are and try to find what is most suitable to your needs.
look where you can spend bitcoin to buy stuff online or offline. see if it is beneficial for you to do that.
then in the end there is also the profit that bitcoin's price rise will give you as a secondary benefit.
You need to know how to send transaction and where you can spend bitcoins  Roll Eyes

Actually in terms of campaign it is a bit late already. There is already a new rule for new accounts. One must earn merits to join campaigns and of course it is not that easy. But one can still double time in working with bitcoin.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 22, 2018, 05:47:48 AM
nice!
Nice to know that here in the Philippines accepting bitcoin. I"m so glad and thankful they where openminded in this business.

Well, I guess Philippines is one of the countries which is open for possibilities and change. It is indeed a good news that our country is now accepting bitcoin. I hope that this will go on until we can already use bitcoin to do our transactions especially online.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 22, 2018, 04:27:25 AM
We all know that involving in bitcoin it takes your time and also money. Is it worthy to risk your time and money because of bitcoin?

Not everything that you see around in the crypto takes up your money. Oh yeah efforts has to be there always no matter what because you have to spend some energy so that you can turn it into money or something fruitful I guess. Mostly people find it very commutable in the world of bitcoin and they can easily find out best way to invest into the bitcoin and earn more than what they have put into it. So be relaxed and just find your right spot. You can always learn new things and keep your pace growing so that you can end up earning huge. Th unexpected things can always happen, and if they are good unexpected things then you can just win the whole situation.

Yes,of course. In bitcoin there are a lot of possibilities. You could earn a lot from bitcoin if you will just take it seriously. It is really worth our time and money. We just have to be wise enough to deal with cryptocurrencies.
216  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Uber in crypto on: March 22, 2018, 04:00:52 AM
can someone help me understand.

Based on their info

One trillion eco tokens will initially be issued, 50 per cent of which will be given to the first 1bn verified humans who sign up. Of the remainder, 20 per cent will go to universities, 10 per cent to advisors, 10 to Camp's strategic partners and 10 per cent will be held by a newly formed Eco Foundation, responsible for the cryptocurrency's oversight,

217  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph to be used in SM Malls on: March 22, 2018, 03:10:48 AM
Sana magkaroon ng chance magamit ang coins.ph sa SM like GCash para no need to convert, deposit or cash out our bitcoin para makapag shopping.

What do you think guys?

218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: March 21, 2018, 02:48:25 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

Well, fiat money is given out by financial institutions that are big in size and are backed by the government. They make their earnings by charging fees for transactions and they will do everything to stay competitive. So I don't think that fiat money will be gone completely in the near future.

This will not happen,if yes it will take a long time. Cryptocurrencies operate online. Fiat money and cryptocurrencies have different use. What if electricity or internet connection breaks how can we have transactions if all we have is crypto.
219  Local / Pilipinas / Re: google banning crypto related ads on: March 20, 2018, 03:34:18 PM
Bitcoin prices briefly fell below $8,000 on Wednesday following news that Google, the world's largest online ad provider, plans to ban cyptocurrency advertising.
Tech giant Goggle announced an update Wednesday to its financial services policy that will restrict advertising for cyptocurrencies and related content" starting in June.

220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 20, 2018, 11:35:31 AM
Their countries , their laws.  It really depends on your definition for not supported too . If we speak about banning then as far as I know I don't think there is a country that actually banned bitcoin , at least nothing official and If there is then Its related to the banking system with one way or another . If its about the lack of usability in ATMs , local shops then there are plenty of countries and It takes time as some countries have more priorities .

Other countries banned cryptocurrencies because theu fear that this currency might be used for illegal transactions and purposes. They do not want this currencies to be used against the government.
