201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: January 06, 2018, 06:51:32 PM
Should there not be a major update to the MPH website interface that would unify and more adequately present the pools and balances for each user?

I feel like I saw an announce about a month ago.

At what stage of development did the web teams come up with this announcement?
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 06, 2018, 05:01:08 PM
For equihash miners, It's a bit off topic but it can probably shed light on Zclassic's violent and sudden rise this day:

Here is a news that explain the great raise of ZCL this day :
https://medium.com/chain-intelligence/the-resurgence-of-zcl-and-an-upcoming-hardfork-3ba65de3cf21

hardfok is comming on this currencie :

"While the fork wasn’t ready by Christmas eve, development is currently under progress and the date for the snapshot will likely be near mid January or the end of January.

At the high level, the plan is the following:

    Circulating BTC = 17 million, Circulating ZCL = 2 million.
    The ZClassic coin will be migrated to become a Bitcoin hard-fork “Bitcoin Private” or “BTCP” by dropping coinbase inputs into the blockchain as a hard-fork.
    This way, holders of BTC (or BCH) will receive BTCP in a 1:1 ratio and holders of ZCL will receive BTCP in a 1:1 ratio as well.
    The community is still in the process of deciding the details of the fork, choosing between non-SegWit BTC addresses and BCH addresses.
    BTCP will regardless be a fork of Bitcoin, and the first purely privacy focused Bitcoin fork driven by the community itself. Its circulation will be roughly 19 million at the time of the drop."

I took my benefits now, this night. I hope i will profit of segweet2x BTC hardforkthis night too

Here is the continuation of this story of the end of Zclassic and the birth of BTCP aka Bitcoin Private

Their web site is online, and from what I read on the web, the new Wallet will be available from January 8
https://bitcoinpvt.org/?lang=fr_FR

I think I will mine ZCL this weekend and return to wtm switch right after.

When I think I sold 1.98 ZCL at 241 kSAT the unit and it is worth 0.01 BTC this day! Once again the information is really the key for the economy of cryptocurrency as for the traditional financial market.

Remember, they will pay for both ZCL and also for BTC because it is a HF BTC they announce.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: January 06, 2018, 04:22:19 PM
MPH is doing us a favor by not exchanging Zclassic. Not only is Zclassic going up but when that coin forks to Bitcoin Private we will get 1 Bitcoin Private for every classic. I'm holding until the fork.

Precisely, is that you can bring us a link and additional information about the date and with the arrangements finally decided about the future fork?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: nvOC v0019-2.0 Community Release - new additions on: January 06, 2018, 04:10:51 PM
I was having some issues this week with some pools and decide to rewrite the code for pool check in watchdog, it was supposed to be in v19-2.0 but we let it slide for that time.

It works almost same as network check but instead of checking for network it checks for pool and wait if its unreachable to prevent miner restart and eventually rig restarts.
Then After I wrote it I thought why wait and waste time when we can switch to an alternate pool
So I rewrite it again to add an alternate pool in 1bash whether its supported by the miner or not.
What left to do is to check the first pool and switch back as soon as it becomes available.

So here is my question:
How important it is for you guys to have an alternate pool?
And how important it is to switch back to main pool?

I'm asking this because I wrote the code for myself and to make it work with rest of miners and coins it needs more changes so I don't want to work on something not so useful Wink

It's clear that luckpool has had a lot of hits this week. They probably have lower fee than elsewhere but their servers seem unstable, so I decided to go elsewhere, even if it costs me a little more fee.
When I look at MPH and the number of pools they have and I have never had a single break with them, all I can switch home, I rock it.

I also had troubles with Nicehash who all of a sudden Wednesday night began to refuse my connections to their servers ... So I created a ticket home and removed nicehash from my list of WTM switch ...

Your proposal to send to another alternative pool is a good idea, but I have another one: Why not try the second corner directly in the WTM list.

Obviously this only works for those who use WTM_Switch, but it must be possible to combine both a second pool and a second coin with or without the SWITCH WTM.

For your information...

Thanks for the info.

I just wanted to tell you that I use a motherboard of this brand and that Ubuntu 16 detects it perfectly, nothing more ...

I feel as soon as you felt attacked :-(

It was not the goal.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: nvOC v0019-2.0 Community Release on: January 05, 2018, 07:53:10 PM
Hello!
I would like to try altcoin mine with an automatic translation into the BTC. Which way is better?
ZPOOL, MPH or NiceHash?

If everything is clear with nacehash, but on the other(ZPOOL, MPH) can I switch with WTM_auto_switch ?

If you choose nicehash, you will undermine by algo.

If you choose Zpool, you can mine by ALGO, but also by individual crypto.

On MPH, you can choose on their web page to which crypto you want to be paid.

On the other hand, it seems to me that Zpool takes a fee of 2%, nicehash 3% and MPH 0.9%

As far as I am concerned, "I eat all the racks", that is to say that I do not hang on a single pool. It's more complicated to manage and check, but you'll find it quickly if you want to trade to sell your coins at the best time and price.

I have been wanting to give this a try.

I think you can try without any problems.

If I can throw together a rig with 1060s on a biostar TB85, what version of NVOC should I use?

Use nvOC v0019-2.0 from community release. Find link to download it from mega in 2 or 5 previous pages on this thread.

Quote
It is not clear whether the official version 19-1.4 or one of the community versions.

Fullzero, first dev of this distrib, seems very occupied with his personnel life, so papampi, leenoox, stubo and other coders don't stay inactives.

Any current recommendations on usb 3.0 flash drives?  I have a 64GB drive that runs hot.

If you reread the thread a few pages back, you will see that many people advise to use a USB key only for testing and then to make an image directly on an SSD.

Personally I used a Kingston Travelstar USB 3.0 32 GB USB key for several months before putting a notebook HDD classic disk in a USB 3.0 box bought on aliexpress. And everything works wonderfully on that side

For your information, I use a Biostar TB250 Pro BTC

    Dear miners,

    Our neoscrypt stratum is under heavy load because there are many miners mining neoscrypt coins. If you encounter problems mining GoByte (GBX) on port 4233, please try to mine it on port 4236. The same GBX pool wallet is connected to both stratum (ports 4233 and 4236). Please don't mine other coins that GBX on port 4236 as it is dedicated to GBX.

    On port 4233, you can mine all neoscrypt coins but port 4236 is dedicated ONLY for Innova.

    For nVidia cards (ccminer):

        ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u Your_GBX_Wallet_Address -p c=GBX --cpu-priority=3

    For AMD cards, please refer to the thread "[nVidia] How to mine GoByte (GBX) ?" using port 4236 instead of 4233.

    Under some conditions, the coin daemon of the pool becomes unreachable. Some miners noticed that under these conditions, some shares are going to another neoscrypt coin. It leads to small earnings in other coins but Yiimp performs a calculation to pay the miner as if he mined the correct coin.

    In order to improve mining of GoByte coin (GBX), a hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte is present on the stratum dedicated to GBX (port 4236). If you are mining GBX on port 4233 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to another coin. But if you are mining GBX on port 4236 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to the hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte so you'll continue to mine GoByte and you'll be paid in GoByte. We prefer to keep the fall-back wallet hidden in order to redure confusion but we'd like to display it on our pool website when it will be possible and easy to understand what is going on.

    For any problem, please report on:

Code: Select all

 /home/m1/KTccminer/ccminer -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u GTHXsFcNdiDkUxmyaddressmBBaUviBVMDB.MINER44 -p c=GBX -i 17

209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 05, 2018, 03:55:33 PM
To add GoByte(GBX) (Neoscrypt) to the selection of cryptocurrency in 1bash script file and therefore also in the WTM switch:

1 / Find TZC Variables in 1bash file (just below the VIVO variables, you will copy / paste as a template Under TZC lines):

Code:
# GoByte(GBX)
# ## No Need to add add stratum+tcp:// to server address
GBX_WORKER="$WORKERNAME"
GBX_ADDRESS="GBX_Wallet_Address" # Donwnload GOBYTE Wallet and Blockchain to obtain and address
GBX_POOL="pool.unimining.net" # 0.5% pool fee
GBX_PORT="4236"
GBX_INTENSITY="17"

Add this below to the 0miner script file (in the same way below the command to launch the TZC ccminer (and you can copy TZC but be careful to replace TZC_ by GBX_ in the whole command):

Code:
if [ $COIN == "GBX" ]
then
HCD='/home/m1/KTccminer/ccminer'
ADDR="$GBX_ADDRESS.$GBX_WORKER"
screen -dmSL miner $HCD -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://$GBX_POOL:$GBX_PORT -u $ADDR -p c=GBX -i $GBX_INTENSITY
fi

Don't mine directly to Cryptopia Wallet Address because if Maintenance on GBX Blockchain, cryptopia will be slow to reput online a wallet, and you risk to mine in the void for all  the time cryptopia GBX wallet would be offline.

To consult your pool balance :
https://www.unimining.net/?address=GBX_Wallet Address

You can mine GBX on other pools :
http://www.zpool.ca/site/mining => 2% pool fee
http://pool.hashrefinery.com/ => 1.25% pool fee
http://yiimp.eu/site/mining => 2% fee
https://altminer.net/ => 0.9% fee
https://bilbotel.fr/ => 0.5% but looks have very few miners and hash power
https://us1.gobyte.network/ =>0,5% fee only 12 miners active at this time !
https://asia1.gobyte.network/ => difficulty to join it from europe where i live.

More pools on their webpage, I do not have all consulted :
 https://www.gobyte.network/#!

Happy Mining

Add it in WTM_AUTO_SWITCH_COINS list in 1bash
Restart your miner process in ssh console by this commands or reboot your rig :
./nvOC stop
./nvOC start (it will reboot your rig)

EDIT 05-01-18 18h42 : It seems unimining have some problem with their neoscrypt pools and GBX looks offline ...I désactivate it for the moment, but you can try other pools and give us your REX here.

EDIt 2 : It seems altminer.net permit mining GBX correctly. Not the pool with lowst fee but seems stable and operationnal for me.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WTM AUTO SWITCH v0012 for nvOC v0019-2.0 Community Release on: January 05, 2018, 03:11:30 PM
WTM Auto Switch v0012,
0miner v0002,
1bash v0004

Support simple and auto switching for NiceHash Algos
Thanks to Rumo and CryptAtomeTrader44

NiceHash Algos
Code:
NICE_NEOSCRYPT NICE_LYRA2REV2 NICE_X11GOST NICE_SKUNKHASH NICE_CRYPTONIGHT NICE_ETHASH NICE_EQUIHASH

You can either use wtm auto switch or simple mining to use new nicehash algos

Add new Nice_Algos to coin selection of wtm to use auto switch:
Code:
WTM_AUTO_SWITCH_COINS="ZEC;ZEN;ETH;BTG;FTC;NICE_NEOSCRYPT;NICE_LYRA2REV2;NICE_X11GOST;NICE_SKUNKHASH;NICE_CRYPTONIGHT;NICE_ETHASH;NICE_EQUIHASH"

Or chose normal mining
Code:
COIN="NICE_EQUIHASH"

How to update:
Code:
cd /home/m1/Downloads
wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/8zdot94t40anlal/wtm_nice_update.sh
bash wtm_nice_update.sh

Update script will edit and add additional options to 1bash (will not replace your 1bash),
Nicehash new settings and Algo Specific OC will be added to end of your 1bash

New 0miner, 8wtm_auto_switch and WTM_SWITCHER will be replaced with new ones.

Backup/copy of your old files will be added to /home/m1/Downloads/wtm_nicehash_update/backups/
in case you want go back just copy them to /home/m1/

great job, papampi...

But, I thing that WTM is not fine for NH. I tested week ago. One rig mine on NH, second on WTM. Via NH earned more

On WTM aren't present other algos which NH know, so actually WTM for 1x 1080Ti say:
 - mine NH Lyra2rev2

nut NH say (https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator/nvidia-gtx-1080-ti?e=0.18&currency=USD):
 - 1080Ti has the best profitable algo Nist5

So, WTM is great service, but results aren't exact :-(

I sometimes use NH, but all rigs switch manually to the best algo depends on used GPUs.

Do you mean that the provided by WTM for nicehash are inaccurate?

You seem to add that it is the most profitable algo nist5 at the moment, can you give examples?

NB: I actually thought that this algo is very popular looking for a pool for VIVO since no one answered me to find the best ,, I ended up choosing myself on bulwarkpool.com.Et precisely on this pool, the nist5 is very high for mining BWK

Glad to seer you find time for the forum Wink

There is no Claymore 10.3 for linux yet, but updated the 19-2.0 update script for dstm 0.5.8

Either run full update script or this one to update dstm to 0.5.8:

Code:
cd /home/m1/Downloads
wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/ojskj0beg6kbsvz/zm_5.8.sh
bash /home/m1/Downloads/zm_5.8.sh

v10.3:

- added support for Adrenalin drivers (GPU sorting, fan/temperature/clocks management).
- fixed issue with possible GPU crash during miner shutdown.
- now miner shows PCI bus number for every GPU.
- a few minor improvements.
- EthMan: some bug fixes and minor improvements.

PS. Linux version will be available in a few days.

Quote

Well, would the claymore developer be inspired by GPU mapping nvOC scripts ??

How hard would it be to add additional nicehash algos to nvOC? Say Lyra2REv2

It depends on what you want. Do you want to mine 100% of the time on nicehash or alternatively mine the other most profitable cryptocurrency.

If you want to mine only on nicehash, then there is the possibility of using the scott alfter script (SALFTER_NICEHASH_PROFIT_SWITCHING). Otherwise, you can use "PAPAMPI WTM_AUTO_SWITCH" and add what is explained in my previous post:

I am using HP server PSU's 1250W. Is working perfectly, no issues, price is good. Just need attach the cables and create a strip betwen 3 pins to permanently turn it on.
Same config as you, 13 cards. Using MBO's PS for 4 GPU's and HP server PS for the rest of them.

Like this one ?

First i want to congrat everyone involved on this beautiful project.
Im having issues, my friends, everytime i try to burn a image (usb drive or ssd) with HDD (aplication) at some point the burning process is cancelled. What i should do ?
i've tried with 1.4 or normal 19 version , but everyone is  having this issue on buring.

thank you all for your kindness

Try this link : https://mega.nz/#!UV9UlASA!JNUSOR0A0XuzWkXYM3YhWWvtTsQlH17PU4v9Pez6Hhc

and use HDDRawcopy software after unzipping with universal latest 7-Zip.

you will be in v0019-2.0 more stable. You will have acces to small fat32 partition at the beginning of disk and then you will have to modify and complete 1bash variables for your coins and Watchdogs and more and more options...You can choose not to start miner at the first boot with the option autostart miner = NO.

Just after that, you can run this papampi script : https://www.dropbox.com/s/cyo86xoqotplges/nvOC-19-2-update

You can also take a look at here

https://github.com/papampi/nvOC_by_fullzero_Community_Release/tree/19.2

You dont need to run update script on Image Install, The 19-2.0 Image has all the latest updates.
If we add any new options or edit any thing, we will post on forum about it.

And that inserts your change on switch 8_wtm_switch ...? because I have it but I think that I have the first version of your image with the counting of the times of mining that does not work.

I also did not understand why at home the specific algo works whereas at home it systematically applies the values of the algo skunk.

Or can it be the pb at home? which file?

Thanks for the great effort and support on this SW.
I am presently running 19-1.4 and have made many subtle changes to the 1bash file.
If I run the update script to get to 19-2.0 will I need to reintroduce all my 1bash changes manually? Or will they still be in place?
Thanks.

Papampi saves scripts and it seems to me, it's update scripts use diff to reuse values of coins variables. It was very usefull for me latest update.

You can also save them and adapt your modifications in the new version. I think you'll have to remake because if i remmeber correctly, 3main, 0miner, WTM_SWiTCHER, Watchdog, tempcontrol was totally rewrited by leenoox, stubo and all googd coders on this threed.

charts for difficulty please!!!

I'm not sure it's necessary.

But if you really want graphics of the variation of difficulty, you can look at the coin stats of coinwarz.com. on the other hand, they make them pay the requests ...

WTM is free and must remain light, otherwise it will become unusable

In conclusion I do not think it will happen, but I am not fredeq or even less the team WTM. It's up to them to tell you if I'm wrong.

Thank you for your help bro, im downloading it.

I have to unzip the nvoc file ? maybe that's my mistake hahaha i wasn't extracting it, in the 1bash file how do i put a suprnova account ? (can you give me an example ?)
how do i run that papampi script on linux ?

thank you for your kindness, bro.

You must unzip it, then you will have a ".img" file that you can put in HDDRawCopy as a source file, to your usb key or SSD or HDD for Target.

Just after that, you have to modify 1bash file with a text editor like notepad++ or notepad if you are on windows. gedit in ubuntu

All options are in 1bash file. You just have to read explanations in 1 bash or you can read here : https://nvoc-mining-os.com/
