201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Altcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 12:48:59 PM
Why people are still holding their altcoincoin in this volatile market?

Do they really love their altcoin?
Are they waiting for the price goes up?
What is your reason for holding?

If you asked those who held Google stocks 10 years ago , you would probably be surprised by their answer. Most HODLers believe in these altcoins  and what they would do in the future. They are not much interested in the daily swings of the market. The potential of the coins is not in the present value of the coin but what it can do to the world.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Crypto Currency? on: April 11, 2018, 12:46:20 PM
Crypto Currency is been use for so money purpose, Do you think is there real need of crypto currency? What is the future of crypto?  I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Crypto?

I have an app on my Phone called Sureremit that uses RMT to make donations and even send vouchers all over the world. i have tested this app and even sent airtime and vouchers to my family without paying huge fees. There are many crypto that people are using in their daily lives. Maybe Crypto adoption is not huge but it has its use cases .

With crypto curreny, fees are reduced to the very minimum and their is no need for centralized power and restrictions to make transaction to families all over the world. Crypto is the future and anyone thinking otherwise is missing out
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: April 11, 2018, 12:41:36 PM
We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?

I sometimes wonder how people make their conclusions. How do  investors come to the conclusion that Eth is dead when they are not even through with their roadmap. If the basis of the decision is based on its value now, then let me tell you that it is an illusion as there are so much features that are not yet done on the ethereum network. What i believe that Eth is going places.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: April 11, 2018, 12:38:38 PM
Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

I am not surprised but you need to know that Crypto industry is in its infact stage and most of the ICOs are just looking for a way to raise money to test an idea that would have been kicked off by Venture capitalist. However, there are undervalued projects or ICO that will make a difference and change the world.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: April 09, 2018, 02:20:27 PM
Last night I had a discussion with a friend if it's possible to quit your job and make a fulltime living of promoting bounty campaigns.
My friend thought you need to promote a lot of bounties at the same time (100 per week), to compensate for the
uncertain number of bounties that will never to lead to any income (coin cannot get listed, withdrawal fees of exchange is too high, scam, etc.).

So the question is: do you agree with this statement?

True that it is possible to do bounty full time but i will suggest that you do it as a part time job because Crypto is just in its infant stage and with this pump and dump strategy in the market, you might not make enough to be comfortable .
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters, be careful with twitter accounts on: April 09, 2018, 02:15:40 PM
Now there are massive blocking of Twitter accounts.
Most often,  block accounts  when you to use mass-following. Blocks is forever!
Also do not use hashtags #ICO #Cryptocurrency etc
Be careful!

Thanks for this information. I was aware that they had ban their twitter ads on ICO but i did not know that it extended to personal accounts that share Cryptocurrency which is why i am not surprised by the recent reaction of Crypto enthusiasts
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto is going to integrate in our life of young people on: April 09, 2018, 01:59:01 PM
Sure the generation of today are those who are technology savvy but for the young ones to appreciate the crypto industry, we still need the older genertaion to be able to embrace this technology too. As it is now, crypto technology is still is in infant stage.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could create a cryptocurrency/token, what would you use it for? on: April 09, 2018, 01:56:36 PM
If you could create a cryptocurrency/token, what would you use it for?

Seriously i would rather not create a token but would create a system that collaborates with other altcoins or tokens. The idea for creating tokens for every problem is just limiting. I believe that the future is in those who can leverage on the technology of other blockchain projects
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone help me? on: April 09, 2018, 01:54:49 PM
I am interested to invest on a not well known coin and newly released, what are the factors I need to consider to take a look to know if this coin has a bright future?

Can you give an example of a altcoin that you think will have a good value in the future and why? please give your explanation.

Wow it is great that you want to invest in an ICO. So let me tell you about Nuggets. It is a great opportunity to invest in Nuggets because i believe that it is going to change the world and how we think about privacy.

What if you could use a secured encrypted credential on any online service you can think of. Nuggets has been able to achieve this goal and investing in this ICO will be profitable in the future. However, i suggest you do your research. http://nuggets.io
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes - Looking Ahead To $20,000 Bitcoin on: April 04, 2018, 02:04:23 PM
"Morgan Stanley has some good news for Bitcoin bulls, however: The 70 percent decline is “nothing out of the ordinary,” and what’s more, such corrections “have historically preceded rallies.” Just as the Nasdaq gained back much of what it lost in the subsequent years—before the financial crisis pared losses even further—bitcoin could similarly be ready to stage a strong recovery."

Great to always see good news of crypto in the news. Of course, the bear trends still continue but this piece of optimism is always nice.

What do you think?

I dont doubt that is going to reach 20,000 but it is not going to happen so soon. Bitcoin has not reached mass adoption where it can be used for everyday life. It is just right now a speculative asset but i see gradual adoption all over the world.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 7 More Thoughts On Crypto After Another Five Months Down The Rabbit Hole on: April 04, 2018, 01:53:26 PM
Love your thoughts on the crypto industry. Yes you are right that nobody knows internet; we can only study patterns and try to predict the future but humans are difficult to predict which is why education is key. One should keep studying the industry. Utility tokens have a long way to go. I would not give up on them just yet. The crypto market is in its infant stage and i expect a lot of evolving to take palce
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an alternative Cryptoeconomy focus forum in the internet? on: April 04, 2018, 01:09:23 PM
is there a forum online community that focuses purely on cryptoeconomy and on cryptobounties for those bountyhunters?

that is huge and vivid?

i dont think bitcoin will make it long

regards

Cryptocurrency is still in its infant stage and has a long way to go. There is still so much to learn in the Crryptoeconomy so with time we will forums that will spring up. For now, it is much of joining the channels of Crypto lovers. By the way, you need to understand that no matter the flaws of Bitcoin, it will never fade away. Think about this; despite the fact that Gold is not used for transactions, it has always been a hedge for investors. Bitcoin has reached the same stage as Gold.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: April 04, 2018, 01:05:49 PM
I will choose a coin after a while. The coin is too much now. Which coin do you like? Please tell me some reasons. I will thank you very much.

There are so many coins that I like and this depends on the Technology but here are some of them that i Like

Bitcoin. It is the digital gold of the future

Ethereum. It is going to change the world. A lot of tokens are built on the Ethereum network

Monero. If you like to be anonymous, then this is the coin. As adoption grows gradually, i see so many people use this coin

Stellar. It has a cheap transaction fee and its very fast and so many banks have their eyes on this coin

214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best countries for people that want to invest in ICO's on: April 04, 2018, 01:02:17 PM
list of countries that allow there citizens to invest in ICO's

Maybe you should have asked which countries don't allow ICO because there are only few countries that are opposed to investing in ICOs . You can search online and you will find it
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Asking if Bitcoin is Dead on: April 04, 2018, 10:15:30 AM
On one hand it is comical on the other had annoying.
All the people that the last month have come out of the woodwork asking about bitcoin, ethereum and ripple are now blowing me up asking me if I get out before it was too late....lol

It is unfortunate that those who are interested in the Crypto space are actually noobs. Every experienced trader knows that there is no smooth ride in the market. History has shown the way Bitcoin and ethereum have risen and fallen so many times. The question you should ask yourself is whether bitcoin has a future with other altcoins. If you look at the trend, Cryptocurrency is here for a long tiime
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is banning Crypto ads on social media short sighted? on: April 04, 2018, 10:10:05 AM
Intereting article that argues 'yes', saying it's a heavy handed: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-04-03-banning-cryptocurrency-ads-is-short-sighted

Curious people's thoughts on this.

Well i think we can look at it from different angles. Some of these brands are secretly researching on the crypto market and developing technologies that will take out the competition. Let us not be deceived as the world knows that cryptocurrency is here to stay
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will share my best 3 ICOs. Share yours. on: April 04, 2018, 09:51:29 AM
So these will be my pick for this spring amidst the chaos. Please Share yours. One phrase reason to be attached.

1. VeriMe - It makes KYC, a time-consuming process into a very simple and easy process and this targets a pain point shared by all.

2. Enkidu - It already has a pre-existing user base of 400,000 allowing quick circulation.

3. Cypherium - The company’s team is made up of former staff of Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.

*Mine is an updated list. As my opinion keeps changing, I shall update.

Well I have so many of them that are cool in their own way but here are my 3 best

1. Nuggets - I like the idea of being able to use my data anywhere and not having to think of passwords. They have an encrypted data system that enables you to use your password anywhere and anytime

2. Storiqa.  I think that using crypto for ecommerce is a game changer as it will enable mass adoption in the crypto space

3. Hacken-  With all the Spams and hacks that take place in the crypto space, Security is needed to make the systems solid.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does participating from an airdrop got you big rewards? on: April 04, 2018, 09:48:04 AM
My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?

You kind of answered the question yourself. The purpose of the airdrop is just to create awareness about the project with the aim that investors can be encouraged to participate on the presale or ICO. If you need big gains, then you can either invest or signup for a bounty where you work towards bringing participants to the project
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there still hope for the altcoins on: April 04, 2018, 09:45:31 AM
So are all altcoins are dying or there will be no hope for new projects..? the market is now so bad...

I dont think it is cool to judge the value of the coin based on the price. Some of these altcoins have an ongoing roadmap which they are working . Market is manipulated so I would focus on the projects than the value of the price
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and securities? on: April 03, 2018, 03:24:02 PM
Hi All,
I have couple of questions:

1. When Ethereum went ICO long ago, what did the SEC do about it not being registered as securities?
2. During the 2017 ICO boom, why SEC did not do anything about unregistered ICOs?
3. Going forward with the new wave of regulations, what is the future of Ethereum and ICOs?

Thanks so much

It is going to get better and better and we need regulations to enable ICOs to exhibit best practices instead of the scams happening all over. Well, there was a time when SEC thought that crypto will not be able to make a difference in the world which is why there was no need for regulation but they got it wrong which is why they have radar of the Crypto market
