201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: January 25, 2018, 01:05:43 AM
Ahhhgggg trow away al my coins last year dont ask me why

The most patient people in crypto end up the richest.

I agree with you, patience is a virtue although kinda hard to find this virtue among traders and investors in these days. I am having NEXUS at a side as a hidden gem that will burst in the future.

I read somewhere that the average Stock (not crypto) gets flipped on average every 4 months - where as in the past people would hold for a average of 2 years. times have changed... in sports, in finance, in medical fields... everybody wants instant results, throwing cash to solve problems when not necessarily needed.

Download the latest DB from the website to speed things up...

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: January 23, 2018, 08:48:57 PM
will keep a close eye on this one Smiley
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hot Coins ! on: January 23, 2018, 08:29:02 PM
Intense Coin (ITNS)
Blockchain backed VPN network, anonymous sending + VPN browsing. Monero code base
current Mkc 10-12M  - prediction 10-30x this year.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2017 on: January 23, 2018, 07:46:37 PM
Mirrax already said which ones to watch out for in 2018 - TZC, UIS, UFO, NXS - might already be too late for some of them

but here is my newly found pick - Intense Coin (ITNS) - it is a Blockchain backed decentralized VPN network - Stakers operate as an exit node in exchange for ITNS.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [KIN] KIN from KiK Messenger, thoughts? on: January 22, 2018, 07:12:22 PM
no, just no - Kik is a terrible app with a terrible reputation for attracting child predators and sexual exploitation - don't you've been warned. they will take your money and run away with it
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Picks for 2018 and why on: January 22, 2018, 06:52:27 PM
Byteball have added to your list, but why you did not add IOTA ? if i'm not wrong, both have same tech behind
and you should think about waves  Wink

already have it Smiley - i have been meaning to get some waves, it just keeps slipping my mind
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Picks for 2018 and why on: January 22, 2018, 06:45:48 PM
Interesting choices. I never heard intense coin. Byteball and Nexus is good Smiley Good luck for your picks Wink
Byteball is probably going to be one of the best ones of this year. Nexus is good, but not good enough to be a directly competitor to Byteball..
Anyway, i still believe in that Elix will be a very good coin during this year

I see Nexus as a fail safe in case SHA2 encryption becomes obsolete (just hedging my bets)

Byteball is definitely a better pick overall - Price is scaring people away though Sad

Been Hodling Elix for a couple months now  Grin

I'm very exited about Intense coin (potential rebranding Q1) - White paper is what sold me https://intensecoin.com/whitepaper.pdf
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Picks for 2018 and why on: January 22, 2018, 06:37:44 PM
I maintain more than 30 coins in my portfolio...i have none of your picks.

I am familiar with NXS...good project but way too ambitious that I am afraid they are more likely to fail than succeed.  Will be a great coin if they pull it off though.  For now, I wait and jump in once they show results...let my money multiply in other coins.  Wink

Good luck!

I have a few more coins as well, these are just my recently acquired ones Smiley High Risk high reward right?
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / My Picks for 2018 and why on: January 22, 2018, 06:23:02 PM
I have been in this space for a few months now and would like to share my crypto picks for the coming year.

The theme for 2017 has been use case, scalability, and/or privacy

I think 2018 will be much of the same, with perhaps a bump for 2nd and 3rd Gen cryptocurrencies.

Nexus(NXS): Mkc: 300M -- Price: $5.44
 - Why? : - Next level encryption (SHA3),
               - No reward halving for miners (exponential decay curve),
               - Core LLP and LLP : protocol templates to create new protocols with less programming. (simpler smart contracts)
               - 3 ways to mine/mint - CPU/GPU/POS
               - Upcoming feature: Trust Network will allow for a sync-less wallet
               - many more features coming including eventual satellite launches to maintain the blockchain in space away from governments or
                  nefarious human beings.

Trezar Coin(TZC): Mkc: 13M -- Price: $0.14
 - Why? : - NeoScrypt PoW - BLAKE2 for hashing (MultiAlgo)
              - 0% Proof of Stake, instead of giving a fixed annual return your hashing power is determined by your coin weight
(max weight is total Coins x 15)
              - Orbitcoin Super Shield, retargets mining difficulty to protect from multi pool mining.
              - fast transactions
              - fast blockchain syncing

Intense Coin(ITNS) Mkc: 12M -- Price: $0.03
 - Why? : - attempting to produce a VPN network powered by the blockchain: "the Intense wallet will allow any network user to act as a VPN exit
node in exchange for ITNS" (more in WP) --> excellent use case
              - PoW/PoS - staking will be required to act as an exit node.
              - Anon transactions + VPN network in one coin
              - Devs are super responsive and of high caliber (currently switching to Monero Code base)

ByteBall(GBYTE) Mkc: 430M -- Price: $665
 - Why? : - DAG tech (iota, xrb anyone?), super fast transactions (one Tx cost me $0.00037) cheap
              - smart contract feature (ahead of Iota on this one) + KYC Compliant ICO's (no more scammy BS)
              - Blackbytes (as of right now the only anonymous DAG coin)
              - Working oracles (betting, flight insurance)
              - In wallet atomic swaps for 0.75% fee
              - Many more features and updates coming this year DYOR
              - IMO this is a Sleeping Giant Roll Eyes

This is it for now, I may Add some more later - Let me know your thoughts

Update Jan 24th 2018

Elastic(XEL) Mkc: 45M -- Price: $0.51
- Why? : - Cloud super computing demand is growing
             - XEL has underperformed due to small team and Anon team.
             - New website and Main Net due to launch in due time
             - Has own programing language (both a pro and a con)
             - Has many more exciting features

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto currency is more futuristic ? on: January 21, 2018, 05:38:03 PM
Byteball (GBYTE) - smart contracts, DAG tech (no blockchain), infinitely scalable, working oracles, private send (thru black bytes)
---> its basically Ethereum + XRB + (*insert privacy coin) - its market cap is still only 500 million.
currently running a special for new users, $20 dollars for signing up i think

NEXUS - next level encryption (SHA3) - will eventually launch satellites to protect the blockchain from governments and such.

Please share more information regarding 20$ signup program.

https://medium.com/byteball/distribution-to-verified-users-and-referrals-ed00b9b2a30e

sorry its $20 but you spend $8 for verification so a net gain of $12, you can have one wallet verified and one anonymous

and theres a referral program

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: January 21, 2018, 06:47:48 AM
Are they offering 6 BTCs for some exchange to add ITNS? Impossible to Kucoin not add this great coin for such a wonderful offer! How much generosity, really, IntenseCoin is willing to become the top 30 of cryptocurrencies!

thats a stretch. current top 30 is 1billion mkc - as highlighted in IntenseCoin's white paper:

" global SSL VPN market is projected to grow 7.5% annually [CAGR] and increase
from $3.08 billion in value to $5.33 billion from 2017 to 2023 [1]. Mobile VPN demand
is projected to grow at a staggering 21.1% from 2017 to 2022"
- not to mention VPN is a pretty competitive industry, i know ITNS might have an edge due to blockchain

but to take 1/3rd global market share of the VPN industry would be quite insane.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 20, 2018, 08:28:54 AM
True.
Forget the full wallet, is has the same functionnalities but needs a lot of time to fully sync the whole database.

thanks, i appreciate the quick response  Smiley
