201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 16, 2018, 09:13:41 AM
It really depends on the people who you convince with. If the they are open minded and willing to give it a try, well lucky for you. If not, be ready for a ton of words that might hurt your feelings. Gambling is still thought to be a bad habit in terms of hobbies. In this type of world we live in, we cannot easily change the minds of the people around us. Just because it is good for you doesn't mean that it is good for the others. But, you convince people in a good way, not harming them or 'stepping them on their ego', basically people will have an idea that there is still good in gambling. So be really careful when you are asking out people to join you.
We are adults and if the person doesn't want something, you can't change his/her mind and you can't convince them.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: August 16, 2018, 09:07:53 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

It is indeed true. People that don't have that much social life and doesn't interact with other people like having a decent conversation, a little chit-chat about the things in life and so on are mostly the people who could be easily addicted on something bad, the reason why is because they think that their life is useless, they are worthless person who don't deserve to live because nobody loves them.

And we can't blame them if that is what they are thinking, the only solution for that is to let them know that there are people out there who are willing to help them, to hear them out, to be their crying-shoulder, to be someone who could they trust, it will not be an easy job, but I think that is the only way to save them.

I think that was harsh. You never know if someone is being loved or not and at least the Creator loves everyone. Besides, hackers are alone people too most of the times and it is not like they are desperate for love of others because they love their work. There are many gambling addicts out there who are rich guys and play this game for enjoyment alone.
Yes, I don't believe that gambling addicts are lonely, maybe some of them are lonely but we can't generalize like that for all. As you said, some of rich people gamble just for fun.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 16, 2018, 08:58:36 AM
BELIEVE IN BOTH! Both Strategy and Luck will mesh well into your games, If you do not have any strategy within your game, then I don't think you should be asking for luck to appear in your games, I mean if you do not use your brain and not become strategic with any moves you do, then I don't think luck is even necessary.
strategy and luck are related in the gambling game but the luck gets the high place than the strategies, and we should always know that without luck, we cannot be the winner. and if you don't have a good strategy, it's no problem as long as you have your luck in the game so you will win the game. we don't have to be a strategic but we need to have luck in our side.
I agree with you. Strategies or skills are nothing without luck. Maybe, you have a good strategy and good skills but if you don't have luck, your skills and strategies don't count.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: August 16, 2018, 08:51:46 AM
It is a sign of being addicted in gambling. I honestly got the same experience of it before but not too much, as I remember it happened to me only two times, I had a weekly campaign that I joined before and after I got payed every week I spend it all on gambling after I lose all of it in that week, and bet again the other week with a thought that I will recover what I had lose, but ends up losing all of it
I am happy that you learnt your lesson. It is fine to lose money if you gained such a valuable thing. Gambling can never be a source of income and this is the reason why it cannot also help you or anyone in recovering the lost money. So the best is to not play this game but is fail to do so then better is to not at least try recovering what can’t be recovered.
You are right, usually people think that they get their money back and they gamble more after they lost but they lose more money in comparison with the beginning.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 16, 2018, 08:46:39 AM
I was in a traditional casino and I was playing Blackjack. I had 2 times blackjack consecutively but it is random, not because of the luck.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: August 15, 2018, 10:25:47 PM
I've been playing gambling for how many years now and to be honest I can't recall it. Also it's not important for me at all. All I want is good outcome once I visited a site. That's the most important and it feels better if i'm not thinking about on how much I won even loss.
I am also playing gambling for a long long time, even I do not know exactly the right time from where I started playing gambling, but now after introducing online gambling I think that it has made it more easy for me to play gambling without knowing my family and other people from which I want to hide my gambling activities.
Anonymity is one of the best things about online gambling.

Two Daily Fantasy Sports sites that accept bitcoin. They are relatively new. There may be more. The above sites have threads with their respective representatives here in the gambling section somewhere.

Fantasy Sports and Daily Fantasy sports is a billion dollar industry in the US. And the US and its states have been cracking down on US facing daily fantasy sports sites lately so hopefully bitcoin fantasy sports can catch on in the states. Would be good.

Thanks for sharing. I'll try them out rn.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 15, 2018, 06:23:23 PM

Side topic:

Dates that notable players with new teams will be visiting their former teams during the 2018-19 season.

DATE

Carmelo Anthony at OKC   Nov. 8
LeBron James at CLE           Nov. 21
DeAndre Jordan at LAC   Dec. 20
Kawhi Leonard at SA           Jan. 3
Blake Griffin at LAC           Jan. 12
Tony Parker at SA           Jan. 14
DeMar DeRozan at TOR   Feb. 22

Interesting to see how the Cleveland will react to James. The first time he transferred it was really ugly and there are reports that some fans burned James Jersey. But I think Cavs fans will be soft this time, because he was able to bring a trophy (which he promised.) Tony Parker will be embraced by San Antonio and perhaps gives him tribute when he goes back and play on Jan. 14.

He tried his best. Actually I have never seen a player played that much just like Lebron James minutes. It is too exhausting just watching him almost not having a break.

He had a mindset of a champion and yet it is just short and I dont blame the other players of Cleveland too. It is just too hard to reach a certain game like Lebron. He is really on his peak of playing basketball.

I want to see DeRozan ex-team reaction though. He is one of the best in Toronto and now here is what happened.

Yes. DeRozan is also going to be something big when he goes back to Toronto again. Seems that he doesn't like to leave the Raptors but its business and as much as the fans wanted him, the management makes the final decision. He will be appreciated, because he was traded and didn't left like what Lebron in "The Decision", or Durant decisions on moving to GSW.

What do you mean by "when he goes back"?
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: August 15, 2018, 06:21:48 PM
Hi guys is there anyone knowing anything about Martingale strategy? I'm new on it and i'd like to start to use it in online roulettes. Do u think that it worth trying using it if my budget is roughly 2k£? I found this guide https://casino.guru/roulette-scam-strategies and they say it's better not to use it; but i have friends who won real money thanks to that.
Can anyone giving me any further info about? Thanks very much  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
Why would anyone want to share their winning strategy if it works 100% against the casino, your friends might have won some money using that martingale strategy, but the main reason is because they are on a lucky day while gambling on the roulette game that specific day, so I would strongly advise everyone to take caution when gambling with any strategy that claims to be able to beat the casino.

A big LOL to this one. For the others, long as you have a big bankroll, you can make profit. That's it. Just have an infinitely big bankroll Cheesy
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 15, 2018, 02:30:40 PM
A lot of happenings today, I think this hasn't been posted.

NBA trade news: Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler exits, Raptors confirm deal, Lakers claim

Interesting to hear that Kyrie Irving doesn't want to sign a extension with the Celtics. He even haven't had the time to show his skills in a Celtics uniform and now his thinking of leaving them?
He knows that the Celts are going to be good even without him judging from the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

Quote
Is he thinking of joining another team that has a star and be a potential super teams?
I think not considering that the Celtics will have Hayward back to it's roster and this could make them a team to beat at the East. He may have problem with the Celtic's front office  Grin.
Is it possible that Kyrie will team up with Lebron James again, I mean they work better together and they are a threat.
There are a lot of surprises actually but I hope he will be in a team that has a championship potential, and I also hope he will be fully healthy to finish a season, especially the off season.
I believe it is not possible that kyrie might not team up with LeBron, I think that Lakers have their own people to be with King James in order to win and look, their rookies might be the superstar Lakers might need right? So, they must stay on the track with the king.
According to the news, Irving and Butler might go with the Knicks or the Nets. I think they must go to Knicks so that Porzingis have some good teammates to play with. I don't think Irving will go Lakers. Magic will focus on his young players and will train them in order to win a championship.
Kyrie Irving has lost it when he quit Lebron and to be honest Butler and Irving is not a good pair.

216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: August 09, 2018, 04:53:09 PM
The environment in which a person lives can also be a cause of addiction. For example, a person who lives in an environment where most of the residents are gamblers, it is likely that the person will follow what is done by the majority. In short, many things can cause someone to become an addict.
I don't think so. It is about the person, if the person doesn't want it, anyone can not affect him/her.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: August 09, 2018, 03:53:01 PM
I usually prefer to gamble with main coins, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum due to my favorite sites accept them, actually many of them accept these coins. Recently I am also thinking to play with other altcoins.
Why this is important to you? Don’t you see the disadvantages of putting in most fantastic coins in most weird source? Do better for you unless and until you don’t let yourself down. And believe me if you carry on with this investment in this thing, you might be able to ruin your life successfully. Then even your regret wouldn’t be helping in any way. Things are good, don’t make them worsts.
I always play traditional gambling because I like it the most instead of online gambling. Therefore I use my local currency for gambling. I do not gamble a lot and for some time gambling I think cryptocurrency is not sensible. Other reason is the trust. I do not trust online gambling and in online gambling I cannot use my local currency, that’s why I only gamble in real casinos.
Gambling with cryptocurrency is easy than regular money because if you like online gambling you will use bitcoin, Ethereum or any other Altcoin. If you think of your future you will never use your crypto because in my opinion cryptocurrency is the guarantee for your safe and secure future. Don’t lose your future in gambling ore use only earned coins.

It's easier to gambling with cryptocurrency like bitcoin, eth and many other altcoins because you don't need to come to a casino to gambling. You only need create an account online, deposit your account and just gambling at your home. For me I do gamble with bitcoin and eth.
Yeah, it is easier, more convenient and it provides anonymity.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: August 09, 2018, 03:46:58 PM
If you play with your friends in traditional casino just for entertainment not for winning, it would be funny but if you gamble in online casino and you don't win at the end of the game, there is no fun here Smiley
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 09, 2018, 03:28:39 PM
In my opinion, you need both luck and strategy but even if you have really good strategy or tactics in the game, if you don't have luck, your strategy is not effective. Your strategy is not important when the game is over because end of the game people just care about to win or to lose.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: August 09, 2018, 02:38:52 PM
I already forgot how much money I lost on bitcoin gambling. But I know I have won a lot than losing, I'm lucky in sports betting because that is my favourite one to bet my bitcoins, casino games need full luck to win.
I think sports-betting is better for bitcoin gambling, you can analyze the things you need to know in it. For casino games, luck is important for them, so risk of losing is more than sports betting.
