201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep my wallet safe? on: January 05, 2018, 07:14:14 PM
Bought a Ledger Nano S to secure my cryptos. Fairly easy to use - currently using for Ethereum platform (ERC20 tokens).
As far as I know, private keys stay inside the hardware wallet's chip and not shared when making txns.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So XRB won the vote on binance, how long till it will be trading? on: January 05, 2018, 07:11:14 PM
Do you think XRB will moon once listed on Binance? I think the current market cap is too high (4 Billion already) to make significant change and with BTC currently mooning.
203  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: *** REBELLIOUS SCAM ALERT** on: January 05, 2018, 05:32:59 PM
Have not downloaded the wallet for Rebellious. Is it safe?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 05, 2018, 05:31:08 PM
Bitconnect is the biggest ponzi scheme in crypto. Business model profits from greedy investors luring in newbies who will be the bagholders in the end.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coins to buy right now? on: January 05, 2018, 05:28:38 PM
RaiBlocks - not shilling, but have read a great deal around the tech it uses (DAG which is a variation of what IOTA uses).

Seems a promising coin to have as it surpasses bitcoin in terms of scalability and has no fees. Perfect for sending value.
If they develop some anonymity into the coin, this will be a bitcoin successor.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 05, 2018, 05:20:39 PM
For higher rate of success, I'll choose bounty even if sometimes there will be chances of not being paid.
Airdrops are much easier but depends on luck.

Got lucky with one - Hawala.Today (reached 1K without doing anything but just fill up a form).
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin and others crypto during war on: January 05, 2018, 05:18:29 PM
Depends on what war, if it comes to nuclear war, then all will be toast, our cryptos along with our lives.
If just conventional, affected areas will surely be hit hard with no internet.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how are these alt whales cashing out? on: January 05, 2018, 04:29:51 PM
Still not enough liquidity to cash out big sums of money in one going.
Really interested how big whales move their money.

Anyone with some ideas?
209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? on: January 05, 2018, 04:21:54 PM
The egg - probably from a dinosaur. Lol, should start from the very beginning - fishes.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple going back to $1 or what ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:52:25 PM
Hope it does already, its a shame that this coin is currently listed as a cryptocurrency when in truth is really is just a bankers coin.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just saw this Etherdelta news, how you guys think?? RIP?? on: January 05, 2018, 03:51:10 PM
Hope they can get their shit together. One of my larger investments are currently just listed on Etherdelta and nowhere else.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Incoming: BTC to the MOON ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:49:50 PM
Even with the fix of the scalability issue, I do not think bitcoin will moon too much.
There are a lot of better coins showing up which offers more value than bitcoin when transferring monetary values.

I think bitcoin consumes too much energy to maintain and is kind of wasteful of resources.
Thinking of supporting more emerging blockchain tech like DAG from IOTA and RaiBlocks.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $300 to invest - Hit or miss on: January 05, 2018, 03:36:49 PM
Depends on your investment horizon (crypto-wise).

If short term - 1-3 months
1. Look for small cap coins (below 100MM) with great value proposition.
2. Must have a track record of delivering results.

Long term - 3-1 year
1. I'll probably put it in a good project (ICO). Had some great returns from my previous investments.
Just wait for it to be listed on a good exchange
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 05, 2018, 03:29:57 PM
Not really. Ripple token is not usable for the txns being done on the network. It is just a share of the network.
There are a lot of criticism being thrown at Ripple as being a centralized one same as bankers.

For transacting, I have read that RaiBlocks is the next one with superb features like no fees, instant txns.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 will be “The Year of the Cryptocurrency Craze”!!!! on: January 03, 2018, 09:48:59 PM
It will be an interesting year as the technology behind cryptos gains a mainstream audience.
There are still lots of projects that are overvalued as they have not yet delivered the promised product.

Looking forward to a bountiful and prosperous new year for everyone.
216  Economy / Exchanges / Is IDEX a safe exchange to use. They have an option that asks for private keys. on: January 03, 2018, 09:18:20 PM
Not really sure why they have that option. Its like giving the keys to the house to a stranger.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: January 03, 2018, 05:58:12 PM
Is there any developments that gave rise to the increase today? Have not heard any significant development announcement yet.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great News For Bitcoin! Lightening Network First Payment Was Successful! on: January 03, 2018, 03:25:13 PM
Great news for the community. Looking forward to no or lower fees.
Should bump up the price in the near term.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The one Crypto that isnt based on what Cryptos should be based on, hits #2 mc on: January 03, 2018, 03:23:30 PM
Regular people only care about making money, not on some lofty ideals. From what I know, XRP isn't really used for txns. It is just a token with no use case.
Seems just a way to raise money for the Ripple Labs company.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: January 02, 2018, 02:06:11 AM
Have invested late this year and was able to generate additional income greater than what I would have been able to work for.
Was following Bitcoin since 2015 but did not have any money then. I was able to move to a great company and earn more, thus I was able to invest some money. Thanks to this opportunities, I was able to earn more.
