201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: De-monetization of basic life requirements and beyond. on: March 05, 2019, 08:46:57 PM
^ Cars today aren't built to last, its planned obsolescence.  BMW, Mercedes, and other luxury cars are the biggest moneypits out there.  Old Toyotas and Hondas are two of the few cars that actually last a long time.

It won't be too long until we have automation that can pump out housing really quickly.  We still have a major crisis going on in America, there are 9 vacant homes for every homeless person.  It doesn't help society when ivnestors buy up houses just to leave them vacant.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cheat Sheet Collection on: March 05, 2019, 08:38:58 PM
Market cycles and chart patterns are useful but technoical analysis will only go so far in crypto.  These markets are heavily manipulated and you never know when one of those early adopter whale will decide to dump his bags on everyone.
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rats, Public Defecation And Open Drug Use on: March 05, 2019, 08:32:07 PM
Neighborhoods in San Francisco refuse to build high rise buildings to provide more housing a small space.  This is keeping the housing supply low while demand continues to grow.

It would be nice to squat on some of that public forest land and build your own house but I doubt you would win in court with squatters rights.  If this is actually possible BADecker I would like to hear more
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Fortune Jack a Scam or are they Legit? on: March 05, 2019, 08:26:56 PM
Even the most reputable businesses will have unhappy customers that call the service a scam.  Amazon has bad customer reviews and they are one of the biggest companies in the world, its unavoidable to run into problems once you become large.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: March 05, 2019, 05:48:23 PM
If you feel like taking a big risk you can always put your coins on Bitmex and go long or short with very high leverage.  Its a good way to make fast money but its also a good way to lose everything. Sad
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash alternative on: March 05, 2019, 05:39:58 PM
If you are selling hashrate on nicehash you are either lazy or stupid.  If you wan't to have a chance at any real money you need to find the good projects yourself and mine the coins on your own.   Nicehash was already "hacked" for millions which was most likely just another inside job.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: March 05, 2019, 05:35:26 PM
People are willing to trades goods for almost anything.  Video games, sex, gold, bikes, books, even beanie babies, I've seen everything traded on facebook marketplace and craigslist.

Also most shops that accept bitcoin as payment convert it instantly to fiat.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: March 05, 2019, 05:30:16 PM
This will balance out, the banks that are willing to accept crypto businesses will end up making more money while the other banks are sitting on the sidelines.  Eventually all the banks will want to bring in these extra profits.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “Cryptos” - A new tv show about cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2019, 05:25:34 PM
They are just looking for the new thing because Hollywood is out of ideas and constantly pumping out remakes of original movies.  I didn't like Kevin Connelly and the show entourage, there is something very unlikeable about his smug arrogance.  The same goes for Mark Wahlberg.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 05, 2019, 05:19:44 PM

Supporting Liverpool is like backing the wrong horse. They don't have the champions mindset, born losers and inconsistent. Am already regretting supporting them for the championship this year.
What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support.

There are emotions all over when you go and support something. Culture, interest, surroundings a lot of factors influence to support a team.

A true supporter will always back their team no matter if they are doing good or bad.

We call these bandwagon fans here in America.  Suddenly no one is a fan of the Cavs anymore after Lebron left.  The same thing happened in Miami.

Also liverpool fans seem to treat players that underperform very badly.  Fernando Torres put in a lot of good years for Liverpool but that fans show little appreciation.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto companies complain they’re being shunned by most banks on: March 04, 2019, 07:36:37 PM
If everyone joins together and stops using these banks then they will have to change their mind.  We are the customers and we ultimately have the power.  The amount of regulations have gotten ridiculous, you can't even withdraw cash without being drilled with questions.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 04, 2019, 06:41:05 PM
I would take prime Kevin Garnett over prime Tim Duncan.  Duncan gets way more recognition because he played for a good team and people give him too much credit for the 5 champions they won.

I would even take a peak 2002-2003 McGrady on my team over Kobe.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are Mining Still Profit? on: March 04, 2019, 06:19:07 PM
lunobird we have all made mistakes, no one is perfect.  I have a tendency to linger on my past mistakes but its better to just learn and move on.

Looks like you got red trusted for supporting EOS, I don't own myself because it is centralized but I still think thats unfair.

214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 04, 2019, 05:58:40 PM
It would be interesting to see the EPL institute a salary cap like the NBA does.  Would even out the playing field instead of having the same teams finish at the top every year.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: March 04, 2019, 05:53:16 PM
We should learn a few things from this happening. The gambler didn't calculate everything and it would have been better for him to try and get home with a tram which is full of people, pretty sure in the tram it would have been harder for the thieves to coordinate.

This other one is an extreme reaction which I learned when I was working in the Balkans, in Bosnia and Montenegro that this robbed person can kill the thieves if he finds them where they were, I was astonishing to hear that but it is true in those countries.

This is why a lot of people carry guns especially in America.  You never know when someone is going to rob you or kidnap you.  I think most people are paranoid and overly cautious but when they read these type of stories they get frightened.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all altcoin return to zero in 2019?Money does not return to btc on: March 03, 2019, 01:24:22 AM
I want to buy some altcoin, but it feels too expensive. Will altcoin stage the trend of zeroing in 2019?
like 2015
Most of the pump garbage and aircoin still have a high market cap
Iota xem neo tron vechain
Money does not return btc how the bull market started?

If you think prices are too expensive you are going to be waiting forever.  It can't get much cheap then it already is.  Your trying to time the bottom and you will fail.

Why are you calling legit projects garbage? Its clear people put value on these things because they are holding a fair market price.
217  Economy / Exchanges / Re: anybody use COINBASE PRO on: March 03, 2019, 01:05:16 AM
Coinbase is still one of the biggest exchanges among US customers.  They are one of the few exchanges I actually trust because of all the tight crypto regulations in the United States.  I never had a problem using coinbase and will continue to use their service.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how with 5G be with bitcoin? on: March 03, 2019, 12:52:53 AM
I'm more concerned about 5g causing havoc on our brains and bodies.  There is no way we won't be heavily affected by these signals.  People are already getting cancer from cell phones and it will only get worse.
219  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shouldn't the goal be no work on: March 02, 2019, 07:03:02 PM
^ You are completely wrong about crime.  The majority of crime is because of poverty.  People are hopeless and have no money so they do whatever they can to afford to live.
220  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US debt ceiling ends today on: March 02, 2019, 07:01:24 PM
Well it looks as if they will have to suspend pension fund payments for a while, and tax revenues will be down, so they won't get as much from the fiscal year end. At the same time, it seems that Trump and the hawks want to increase spending on nuclear weapons. How mad is that?

and they think they can advise Venezuela on the way to run a country. Smiley

Apparently it costs over $1 billion a year to repair the damage to vehicles caused by the lack of repairs to highways. It is no wonder that they are arming postal workers and health care workers with automatic weapons.

Parts ot the United States look like a 3rd world country.  Go to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle, you will see tons of homeless people shitting on the streets.  Endless needles all over the city, people living in tents.
